- How much does it cost to convert a school bus? In this video we breakdown the cost of our entire conversion, and how we managed to convert the skoolie on such a low budget! This low budget school bus conversion cost us a total of $4,500 dollars (not including the price of the bus).

@@NickyandHarri Thankyou, I will do. One thing I have never seen anyone talk about on YT is Insurance & breakdown cover. Do I cover it as a van or campervan and when its in between the two lol? Could be worth a video on all the other aspects of campervaning because there is not much if anything on YT about it. Thanks again

We are building a bus, and definitely conflicted about how big of a solar set up we need. Does yours allow you to run everything you need through it? We will both be working from home so need reliable internet and the ability to power up computers
Definitely a great question. So for us, it powers everything we need, and during the day the battery is always full (bare in mind we are in California). Overnight it obviously doesn’t matter about your panels but more about the size of your battery. Obviously maybe 200W wouldn’t cut it for you, if you’re powering PC’s etc, but our recommendation would be to not overkill it, you can always add more! 😊

What do you do for a toilet? Idk about everyone else, but I'm up twice a night or more for a quick trip. Have you found any businesses have issue with using theirs during the day?
Hey Noah, we have a flushable toilet for wee’s in the bus! In the day we use Panera bread or planet fitness, not had any trouble as of yet!
