To the two most delightful people on the internet. You have done such a beautiful job on your kitchen as well as the rest of the house. It was really nice to see your kitchen again and the breakdown of the cost and how you got the best deals on cabinets and appliances. Lovely, lovely home. Really looking forward to seeing your properties you are looking at. Have an awesome two weeks and will see you on the next one.
Thank you Leslie, you’re too kind! We can’t wait to show you our future property renovations and take you along on the journey with us. There’ll defo be some ups and downs but we’re so grateful to have you on board with us ☺️ x
I got my kitchen from diy kitchens. I had a quote of £9,000+ from Howdens and Wickes quoted £13,000 and Homebase were £11,500 I went to the showroom in Yorkshire for diy kitchens. Mine is a grey and white high gloss kitchen. . It was an hour plus journey but so worth it. diy kitchens quoted me £3400. As you said they are helpful and will check you've got your measurements right and it was delivered fully built. I would use them every time now. Highly recommended 😍😍
Awesome to hear your story with DIY kitchens Dawn, sounds an extremely similar experience to ours! They really are an awesome company who have impressed us so much in their quality and affordability. We can’t wait to show you our future projects in the next video (as well as our next DIY kitchen in our next Reno!) 🥰
Amazing! I never thought you could create such a luxurious kitchen on a budget, but you both proved it's possible. I love how you shared your budget-friendly tips and tricks, making it accessible for anyone looking to revamp their space.
It's great to see you both! Thank you for the kitchen tour. It looks really cool & certainly has the wow factor! I can't wait for you to take us on your travels in search of your next home renovation. It's so exciting! See you in 2 weeks 😊❤x
Thanks Harley, we can’t believe how cheap it was either! We can’t wait to take you along with us on these viewings- it should be a really exciting video 🥰🫨
I came across your channel for the first time today, I loved you guys and the video. You are both very helpful whilst still being down to earth. I just know I'll come back to this video once we get the keys to our first house. Thank you for sharing your honest and valuable advice and for encouraging everyone to DIY!! I have subscribed and look forward to seeing what both of you are up to xx All the best, Alex
We thought the kitchen was the most critical part that people can choose to copy based on the price. Then people can top it with whatever surface their budget allows for!
I feel like there are a few things missing in your cost list. I ordered from DIY pretty much the same kitchen, maybe 2 or 3 units less then you but without the countertops, no cornice, no handles, no sink/tap, no fancy draws just shelves. So pretty much bare bones kitchen and paid £3735 and that includes a 10% discount. I assume you guys missed something or you got a deal from them because you've mentioned them online?
Wonderful video as usual. That kitchen will be a massive factor in securing a buyer for your home. Well done! Can't wait to hear about your next project.xx
Thank you guys so much for this! Had my skim done a couple of weeks ago and waiting for it to dry now. Ordered my free sample doors from DIY kitchens so looking forward to that, looking to go for more of a light grey finish. Also thank you for that AEG tip! Had no idea they had that going on!
Oh my gosh how exciting!!! the light grey will look gorgeous - such a timeless look! I know AEG really don’t scream and shout about the deal but it’s a good’en!
Oh AEG! Yes, I can attest that after spending the equivalent of £1091 on their washing machine and tumble dryer duo (separate, we had the room) they are a fantastic appliances company! 🥰
Nice to see your kitchen renovation video. I am really tempted by DIY Kitchens for my next one. Did you really only spend £1100 on 4 AEG appliances as when I checked the website it was much more than this for it??
I felt nauseous when I was quoted £28K for my galley kitchen at thermal home improvements with option to pay on finance over 10 years, which would have worked out to £43K. Absolutely disgusting price. They were also adamant that their prices were super competitive, the best prices around and better than any other company. Can't wait to see just how little money I'll pay to do it myself.
Not hard to spend a fortune on a decent kitchen, think the last one I did when I renovated my dad’s house was 38K…. Looked the nuts tho when it was done. Used Millie products throughout, granite tops & loads more.
When designing the kitchen space, how do you factor in rooms or corners of rooms that aren’t perfectly square though. I’d fear designing the kitchen and it being slightly out?
Its been great to see you both that kitchen is a dream you did a great job , i even did my own electrics after watching you guys do yours and it is not even hard just common sense , So excited about your next project just hope it does not get me changing to many rooms 😂 ,huge hugs for you both ❤❤❤
Wow amazing job doing the electrics yourself - you’re right it is surprisingly straight forward! we can’t wait either - haha a quick paint change never hurt nobody!! Big hugs back to you ♥️♥️♥️
@@v.k9548 and they are total crap. I bought an Ikea Kitchen for a tiny apartment I own as a rental. Two months in the tenant shoved something into a cupboard with a bit more force than needed and the back has come away from the cupboard- total bloody mess and I can't pull the cupboard out to fix it.
Was there a minimum order for the office. As DIY kitchens state it's £750 but you guys said the office came to around £400. I'm looking to refurb our office and these look great. Thanks
Really enjoyed this vlog can’t believe how much this kitchen cost it looks really good quality it’s gorgeous well done to you both I live in Australia the cost of kitchen are double the price so expensive 👍
For a small small galley kitchen 2.3 x 3.3 i was quoted £4.200 How did you manage such a good deal ? having watched the cost breakdown I see you are just clickbaiting people . well done
Did DIY Kitchens give you a discount as you said they wanted to work with you when they saw your Instagram? So is the price quoted a discounted price or retail price?
This might sound weird or bad but it's for good that I will say it.. Nicky please wear something less revealing next time cause I couldn't focus where I supposed to xD

Bit of a misleading title guys 😂. Love the kitchen but just the units cost 3.8k there was more things to add on.
We thought the kitchen was the most critical part that people can choose to copy based on the price. Then people can top it with whatever surface their budget allows for!
It's not misleading at all, it's standard to then have worktops 👍
Who cares?! Good video, and very informative. I’ve just subscribed 👍🏻
There’s always bits to add on. It’s not a definitive price, more of a ball park figure

Did you not need an extractor for the hob?

Great video, thanks. Did you get an extractor?
I have a DIY Kitchen with Granite worktops absolutely beautiful , been in our home for 8 years still looks Amazing
It’s a stunning job guys, and you saved kerching on the kitchen! Should be very proud of that.
Beautiful work. The relief of having completed the project must be great!
Oh AEG! Yes, I can attest that after spending the equivalent of £1091 on their washing machine and tumble dryer duo (separate, we had the room) they are a fantastic appliances company! 🥰
1 million percent, top quality stuff, glad so many people agree! 🥰👍🏻
Seem really lovely people. Doing a great job guys, well done!
I really like the barns! I think it would be cool to see you guys tackle a derelict building or barn.
Can't wait for the next renovation!
Thanks for the transparency lovely kitchen!
Just wondering why the hob didn't go above where the oven was or even have their positions swapped around?
I agree. I always like a nice peninsula bench free of any appliances so you could spread out and bake, or even put out platters if entertaining.
Nice to see your kitchen renovation video. I am really tempted by DIY Kitchens for my next one. Did you really only spend £1100 on 4 AEG appliances as when I checked the website it was much more than this for it??
I agree, most AEG appliances are around £800 each.
I like the wall shelfs where did you get them from,?
Brilliant video, we went to DIY Kitchens last weekend and are just about to place an order. Which AEG appliances did you buy for that price?
WREN kitchens quoted me £30k for a small shape kitchen. I was shocked I asked them if they units will clean themselves and walked out 😂😂😂

What's the name of this kitchen in their range? Thank you.
Great video guys and beautiful kitchen!. Did you say the design and fit are completely bespoke or standard sizes? Thank you
what range and colour did you go for
looking at using these guys
Enjoyed the vlog Nicky ,Harri 😊😊😊😊 will be looking forward to your next vlog 😊😊😊😊😊❤

Do diy kitchens have any accessible options? Would be amazing to have them as an option.
Our kitchen for 3800 but we spent 7k., love it honesty guys
The kitchen units were 3800, worktops are a thing of personal choice and add-on expense so we left that off of the title 🥲
@@NickyandHarri misleading is the polite word I'd use.
@@NickyandHarri 3800 is basically standard price at ikea for cabinets without install.
@@budgitechworld6360 I think if they has inserted "Cupboards" into the Title it would have been a bit better.

Great kitchen and video. Could you please tell me what the name of the kitchen is, I’m guessing it’s a shaker style.
Where did you get your tall radiator from
No clue unfortunately Sam. Our plumber sourced it for us!

Really enjoyed this vlog can’t believe how much this kitchen cost it looks really good quality it’s gorgeous well done to you both
I live in Australia the cost of kitchen are double the price so expensive 👍
Thanks very much, really glad you enjoyed! Who knows, maybe DIY kitchens will expand to AUS? 🤷♂️
Love the points she raised 😂
Pull out bin was my idea! 😄
Are you still doing the prize for whoever guesses the sale price? now you've blown your budget the with quartz! 👀

HOLD UP A MINUTE 12 mm thick doors 😂
Nice video 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Where’s the extractor?
How did you buy the house? Mortgage, bridging loan, cash?
Planning to talk finances in our next cost video 👍🏻
How on earth did you get the appliances so cheap? Can we have a breakdown? We have a DIYKITCHEN to and very happy with it and the price 😀
Question. Why didn't you knock out the chimney breast in the kitchen. It would have given you so much more space and made it even more open?
I think if you do that don't you have to remove the entire chimney all the way up and through the roof?
@@katbar6066 naaa they can support it
Thats insane. I thought brand new kitchens like that were 20-50k for a renovation :o . do they do toilets too
Great video
ACTUAL KITCHEN COST….. £7157… only the units were £3800.
Roll on every other Sunday woo hoo😊
Whoooooo! We can’t wait to show you the next video- should be a crazy one😳

The prices quoted wasn’t a discounted rate! We did indeed get a discount on top of this but all the prices quotes are just as anyone can get them!
Nice kitchen Mr Clunes
Yip should have spent a bit more on heating. Very distracting trying to watch the video😂
Great vid. Any buyers offered you £330K yet 🤔😂
Unfortunately not. Think it might be a bit ambitious unfortunately 🥲
Common sense tells you it’s the units that are the kitchen and there will always be extras to your own spec
Didn’t cost £3,800 though did it 🙄 took you 6 minutes to tell us that

bungalow hehe
We’re looking at some of those 👀
