Would love to try this. I've heard this is very similar to Sutliff's Pumpkin Spice which I really enjoy. When does Strauss make this available for purchase or is it available all year?

This is my "fall" go-to now. It was C&D Autumn Evening, but I'm enjoying this more. It retains its flavor throughout, not stopping at the bag note, as many aromatics tend to do. Now it's time to enjoy some Thanksgiving from LJ Peretti. Tis the season!

🎃🎃🎃🎃 -- don't smoke many aromatics, but I intend to enjoy this one every fall from now on. The bag note actually reflects the taste and the room note is amazing. So glad to have discovered this and many other blends thanks to you, good sir.
🙂🙂🙂🙂 4/5 finally got around to trying this after several years of wanting to. It showed up pretty moist so I left it in the bag for a couple weeks. It Initially smelled like a pumpkin spice fall candle. Smoking it though all I could really get was vanilla but that vanilla flavor last through the whole bowl. Probably the best aromatic I have tried so far. Will buy more next fall 👍🏻
-My wife says the room note is Burnt Marshmallow (which she liked) 😂

This is certainly a second to none seasonal aromatic. Delicious! Even though it’s a bit tougher to get lit, once you get it, it burns well. Perhaps due to giving a little air time. The only reason I don’t give it a 5 is due to the somewhat inconvenient way to obtain. Though in a way not necessarily a bad thing either, given it’s quality. You can tell it’s produced with fine detail and love of the craft. Hope it will be around for a long time to come.
Why not dry the tobacco awhile before loading your pipe?
♨♨♨ I made up my mind last year that I would finally try S.H. this autumn. It was not what I expected. Let me first say that it was a good, mild smoke. I would be happy to put it in my pipe any time, but I would not go out of my way to order it again. When I opened the bag, there was almost no aromatic scent. I seriously wondered if I got the wrong shipment. When I smoked it, it was extremely mild. It was clearly not an English blend, but had no definable flavor either. Perhaps a batch didn't get completed before being shipped out??? I have about half my shipment left now, and I'll continue to enjoy it. However, in a blind taste test, I would NEVER have guessed this was an autumn or, "Sleepy Hollow," mix.
Love your videos! Can't wait to try this blend. Quick newbie question. I overheated my pipe and the stem is super loose. Any repair or thoughts on how to get it snug again?
🥧🥧🥧. I feel this is more of a thanksgiving blend. The tin notes I get are almost like an allspice with pumpkin hiding in the background and a strong vanilla. The moisture level is pretty high, I have to dry it out for about 15 minutes or so before it will take a light easily. Once lit it’s an enjoyable smoke. I get a lot of vanilla and allspice flavors and really have to focus to draw out the pumpkin. The room note is wonderful and if I ever smoked inside this would be a good one. Honestly this would have gotten a better score if I rated it a year or two ago, but ive started to prefer more bold tobacco flavor.

I guess I'm lucky, I have 6 cats and they all love tobacco smells. They love playing with my pipe cleaners, but one raids the dustbin for the used ones as he loves the taste of tobacco

Get well soon! Here are my notes about this one: 🎃🎃🎃I enjoyed this about as much as I have enjoyed any aromatic. I mostly got vanilla, thought I detected a hint of maple, and a touch of cinnamon. I didn’t get anything distinctly pumpkin. The flavoring wasn’t overwhelming at all, and added to the enjoyment of the smoke. This is one of the few aromatics I might actually go back to when I’m in the mood for something like this.

Iv been afraid to try this because I don't really like cinnamon. But everything else sounds good.
You can barely, just barely taste any cinnamon if at all. It's all blended so well that you mainly taste the vanilla with some sweetness and maybe a tiny bit of pumpkin and spice. Hardly a trace of cinammon. I'm not the biggest cinnamon fan either but I absolutely love this tobacco. Probably in my top 3 aromatics of all time.

🍁🍁🍁 Not a huge fan of aromatics but there are some worth trying and this is one I would buy again. I did enjoy a blend that I mixed up I used two three finger pinches of this and three approximately the same size pinches of Ole limey Bastard from B&B tobacconist located in Asheville N.C. And really enjoyed it.

This is the tobacco I like the most so far. This one and molto dolce. I can’t say I taste pumpkin, but the spices are fabulous. For a new smoker, I highly recommend. It’s smooth, no bite, very pleasant and yet still complex enough.
As you smoke through the bowl, the taste will change and it does become more coarse.
I really enjoy this blend and I’d smoke it all day, all year even though it has that Fall aura around it.

🎉🎉🎉 1/2. It came very moist but once dried out a little it burned well. It has a very pleasant taste and aroma. I can taste vanilla and pumpkin spice. The flavor was consistent throughout.
Welcome back. Another good review. I have a 7 point scale and have given Sleepy Hollow, in the past, a 3 out of 7 but will now give it a 4 out if 7. It’s marginally better than what I thought but not terrific. I get a bit of the pumpkin and some slight vanilla and it has a very pleasant room note. Just not as good as a dozen other Aromatics I have in the collection. 😊

I love this tabacco ! Just on the verge of too moist ,but still in the zone . Awesome room note .what I like best about this tabacco is of course the taste. But for me describing it is rough . I simply taste sleepy hollow ! The way this tabacco is blended at leat for me is just the perfect mixture of components. I don't taste one out front of another. Just a perfect blend of components to create an singular Awesome fall feel , smell and taste

I will have to try a Straus blend (it's spelled with one 's')--I've never heard of them. I usually get aromatics from Boswell's and Country Squire. Edit: Straus does not sell tobacco online, but it seems that Sutliff Pumpkin Spice is a comparable blend if anyone is interested in trying a similar tobacco.
You have to call them to place an order. The delivery time is pretty good too, I think it took like 8 days to receive my order.
I can't tell any difference between SH and Pumpkin Spice. I'd almost say it's just renamed Pumpkin Spice.
