Beautiful documentary! I have 2 questions :) I would like to know which ferry name u get from Mahe island to Praslin, can we book ahead online?...... Then, is it possible to do Curieuse island and Vallee De Mai tour in one day?
Hi Kimberly, thanks for watching this video and for your support :) You can book your ferry tickets in advance here: www.catcocos.com/schedule/. You can catch a half-day tour to Curieuse (9:00am to 1:30pm) and hurry up to Valee de Mai the same day (the park closes at 4pm, last entry is at 3pm). Have a look at these websites: en.surfariseychelles.com/bootsausfluege www.sif.sc/vdm Have a great time in Seychelles! Elena
I love your vlogs on Seychelles. Very informative. I wanted to ask you what your opinion of Seychelles’ snorkeling in general as compared to Hawaii and other tropical islands?
Hi Yvonne! Thanks for your kind comment and your support 😍 La Digue was flooded when we arrived and our snorkeling trip there was canceled. We were told it's supposed to be great. On Mahe and Praslin - we tried several snorkeling spots and saw some small fish. Snorkeling in Seychelles was ok, but we’ve seen better spots around the world. Hawaii is probably better for reef fish, it’s just too bad that the corals there are mostly dead. I hope this helps.
Hi Chris, People seem to recommend visiting Seychelles in April, May, October, and November. This website is a good place to read about the weather: www.thomascook.in/international-tourism/best-time-to-visit-seychelles You can also have a look at this video: th-cam.com/video/HTJqxHSZBGo/w-d-xo.html I hope this helps :)
Hi! We will arrive on Mahe around 8:30 and we will have 2 hours time to catch the ferry, which will leave at 10:30. Will we catch the ferry if we do not have a delay?
You should be able to make the ferry. You can book your bus (airport to port) + ferry ticket with cat cocos. Ask them directly about your arrival time: facebook.com/Cat-Cocos-128852167289928/
I was there the last week of November- first week of December. It rained for 7 days straight, followed by a couple of days of sunshine. Seychelles is beautiful even in the rain. Enjoy your trip!
