    Great vlog. Such beautiful scenery, the food looked great, espicaly the BBQ, and the best thing of all, the tortoises coming up to you and eating leaves from your hands, so cool

    Silly question, but still... Where did you buy your swimsuit from, Kelly?The colour and style is amazing, and it also looks super nice with island views plus comfortable to wear. Thanks!

    Those beaches 😍😍 I’m curious to know, how does this compare to other places in terms of affordability? It looks like paradise!

    • @TheAwkwardTourists
      @TheAwkwardTourists  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Good question! It was pretty affordable. Accomodation was $60-$100 per night, but I'm sure you could do it cheaper, You could get a meal for $10 Per person and up. Ferries were a little on the expensive side. We will be doing a full budget breakdown in a few videos if you are interested in checking that out

    Are the tortoises related to the Galapagos ones? They look very similar. If you haven’t been yet, you guys should go. Thanks once again for another great video. With love Emily and Joe. Peace out happy travelers

      They are a different species of tortoise from my understanding, but those are the two largest of all tortoises, so they get mistaken for each other a lot

    i plan on going next year traveling solo--how do you keep your belongings secure while your swimming and leaving your bike at the beach?

    • @TheAwkwardTourists
      @TheAwkwardTourists  ปีที่แล้ว

      We have a lock that we will use to secure our bag to a tree or fence post or something. The reality is, If someone really wants it, they will be able to get it. But we feel the lock is enough of to make most thieves go onto another target. It makes it not super easy to just walk off with... ya know?

    Hahaha when you almost walked into the spider web my girlfriend would have screamed bloody murder and then ate half a can of raid to give it a bath. I don't know why she had her mouth open but it must be a war cry when she goes to not kill it. Thank you for the work that you two do all the time

      Kelly is not a fan of spiders, and those ones were really nasty looking

      We didn't have an issue really. We definitely used bug spray when we were inland, but they really didn't seem too bad, at least for us.....
