Everyone talks about Duncan's skills but not his physical attributes that clearly give him the edge and ability to pull this off. First and foremost are the size of his hands. You can clearly see how he grips the ball and does whatever he wants with it without turning it over. Just like Michael Jordan, Shaq, Wilt, Pippen, Kawhi, and Dr J. If you're hands are smaller you know what I'm speaking of. Secondly the length of his arms and reach make him seem bigger and taller than he actually is. His basketball IQ is top 5 but with those arms it boosts his capabilities by tenfold. His ability to block shots, rebound, score without jumping, and look 7'0 when his a questionable 6'10" is amazing. Lastly and most importantly contributing to the success of his post game is his strength and in particular his stong lower base. His strength is very very underrated. Just look at how he handles bigger dudes like Shaq, Yao, Marc Gasol, DeMarcus Cousins...it's incredible.

His positioning and touch around the rim are incredible but it's crazy that one of the greatest players ever has no left hand. Kudos to him but I couldn't imagine training a player and not making them work on their off hand. I say its a must for all players

Everyone talks about Duncan's skills but not his physical attributes that clearly give him the edge and ability to pull this off.
First and foremost are the size of his hands. You can clearly see how he grips the ball and does whatever he wants with it without turning it over. Just like Michael Jordan, Shaq, Wilt, Pippen, Kawhi, and Dr J. If you're hands are smaller you know what I'm speaking of.
Secondly the length of his arms and reach make him seem bigger and taller than he actually is. His basketball IQ is top 5 but with those arms it boosts his capabilities by tenfold. His ability to block shots, rebound, score without jumping, and look 7'0 when his a questionable 6'10" is amazing.
Lastly and most importantly contributing to the success of his post game is his strength and in particular his stong lower base. His strength is very very underrated. Just look at how he handles bigger dudes like Shaq, Yao, Marc Gasol, DeMarcus Cousins...it's incredible.
