could you explain what each foreteller's mission is when luxu told them that ava already carried out her mission?
Would you be willing to explain what Xemnas did with Axel's Keyblade before Roxas made his grand return? Xemnas seems to "destroy" Axel's Keyblade and stated that Axel's Keyblade was "no more", yet shortly afterwards when Roxas showed up and Future Sora temporary took over Past Sora's body to attack Xemnas, Axel immediately summoned back his Keyblade. So, did Xemnas actually destroyed Axel's Keyblade or was he trying to trick Axel into believing that?
Well,even though it is maybe stupid of me but how much of the real world's physics AND science actually apply to this line of games? I mean,for example,can replicas truly exist or is the space-time continuum constantly in flux?
On different note,do even countries or cultures exist?(we do know that kingdoms do,so maybe yes,i suppose)
Why does Terra have such a unique keyblade summoning animation? Especially with the rest of the sleep trio having regular light flashes, Terra’s is unique with the strange data and gear like summoning animation
If you can have one heart per keyblade, exemplified by the 13 No Names created from the fallen true organization, (let me know if this premise is wrong btw) then if Roxas has one heart, even if he can draw on the power of two keyblades (since sora had to awaken that ability first) where did the second keyblade come from? Ig we’d need to know more about how keyblades are created.
Another question I have is could the entire organization use keyblades if they choose to considering they had Xheanort’s heart? Could the true No Name only be used by a single weirder at a time? Similar to how it appeared that in battle the guardian disappeared from Ansem after Terra-Xheanort lost it. Could Xion or other Org members like Marluxia or Xemnas, someone I believe was stated to have the potential to wield yet choose not to, all dual wield if they learned sync blade up until Xheanort was defeated? Considering No Name returned to the grave and no Luxu’s hand, meaning it lost its master before it got passed down.

As of KH 3 Sora is connected to so many hearts, he could probably wield unlimited Keyblades.

@@HMK I think Sora may actually have the ability to connect and keep connections with other people. I don't think he entirely realizes it, but his comment "My friends are my power!" Maybe more true then not. We've seen Sora do some crazy powerful stuff in Kingdom Hearts. I thinks that's because he has the power to grow stronger from the connections he's made with people. Though currently this is only a theory, without any substantial proof.

Replicas really is the "NANOMACHINES SON" of KH.
I heard in another comment section that the Starlight is the official second Keyblade that Sora owns. Most of the weapons that Sora has is technically the Kingdom Key modified by keychains.
Since Sora was riding on one of the Starlight Keyblades against the heartless, it could be that Ephemer allowed Sora to keep it as a gift.
This would allow Sora to dual wield again via a formchange.

My old reasoning for sora dual wielding was he was given a second keyblade(star seeker) which king mickey no longer needed because he found the kingdom key D

I always thought the reason for Sora wielding 2 keyblades in KH3 was due to it being a keyblade transformation. Afterall, we see this in his shooting star keyblade and ultima form.
But for that to work he should have two become one and split it into Oathkepper and oblivion.

This is what I thought too. It makes sense given that you can use Double Form without actually having both Oathkeeper and Oblivion (you only need one or the other)
@@LilacMonarch yeah the double form in both keyblades while mechanically being one and the same when the triangle prompt appears it states "Double Form OBV" and "Double Form OKP" Implying that they are distinct and independent from eachother. My bet is that the other keyblade is a product of the keyblade transformation created by magic not the actual keyblade.

Damn dude, your theories always get me thinking about shit I didn't even considered.
What if the reason why Sora can use sync blade is because of the X-blade.
For one, he doesn't start using sync blade/ double form till after he gets the X-blade.
And two, the X-blade is technically two keyblades fused into one.
This could explain why he can use two keyblades and also why we don't see the X-blade after the final battle.
And the reason they take the form of Oathkeeper and Oblivion is because they both represent light and dark just like how the X-blade is a fusion of a keyblade of light and dark.
How do you figure the x-blade is 2 keyblades? By design?

@@thomaskretz7888 you might be right. I just used the X-blade as a basis for my theory, since it looks like two keyblades put together.
On a side note if the X-blade is a perfect union of light and dark, you would think one of the blades would look like soras kingdom key and the other Mickey's kingdom key.
But I guess that would make the X-blade look weird that way hence why namoura probably may look like two of soras Kingdom keys to match.

The manga also sorta explains it slightly better, well it explains why his keyblades are oathkeeper and oblivion but figured thats why he still can. Since like oathkeeper was gained by roxas after xion faded so it's like her keyblade, but leaves out how xion has one but then again it's the same as sora's but we still need explanation to the importance of certain keyblades like kingdom key
I always figured Oathkeeper was Roxas definitive keyblade considering his heart was born the moment he made the promise to Xion to free Kingdom Hearts and bring her back. And Oblivion was Xions considering her heart was born as she was fading into nothing, coupled with her character arc being revolved around not existing.

nah severely overrated in my opinion
I think part of it could simply be the nature of Oathkeeper and Oblivion. For Sora, they were created by reaffirming his own feelings toward Kairi and Riku respectively. For Roxas, it was similar, with (according to the manga)Oathkeeper being formed by his declaration of his promise to his friends he made to Saix and Oblivion being formed by the dark emotions from striking down Xion. You could say thes keyblades are able to be duel wielded because they are formed from the bond the wielder's heart has with another.
To higlight this, isn't it weird that promotional art of valor form includes oathkeeper instead of the keyblade you actually get from unlocking the form? And master form has oblivion in its artwork. All the dual wielding forms feature either oathkeeper or oblivion, or both in the case of final form in their officialartworks.
Just wait until Nomura shows a non-Sora related character using sync blade just for aesthetics
Do you think that post KH3 Roxas is more powerful and less restricted than he was in say Endgame Days, or Bossfight 2?
IIRC it was said that a hypothetical full potential Roxas couldn't have defeated Xemnas in the KH2 Ultimania and that at most he was only half as powerful as Sora.
But with him being made "real" thanks to the new vessel and retaining all of his power I get the impression that any prior restrictions he had as a Nobody, have been "uncapped" so to speak and his "full potential" is greater now than it used to be.
I do have one question why does Terra able to see the future at some point in Birth by Sleep that's something I've always wondered because he reacts to it

I would theorize that the Power of Waking was why Sora retained the Sync Blade ability. Because he realized how to wield it again, he awakened his own heart’s power of Sync Blade, through his own memory of connected hearts.
But I won’t deny this theory either. Sora’s “friendship power” is on point against the ocean of Heartless!
I like the theory that it's because, in Re:Mind, Sora essentially has 2 copies of his own heart inside him.

@@philgaimz9847 because he casted his bodily form away to be reduced to just a walking Heart, then he gained the ability to break out the barrier of Space and Time. This way he can act as a portal across Space and Time for all of his other selves, like in 3D when he acted as a portal in Destiny Island to allow Young Xehanort to follow Sora in the Sleeping Worlds. Young Xehanort acted also as a portal to allow the Real Organisation 13 to gather together at the same time.

If we think about it, Sora's most popular phrase is "my friends are my power" maybe he just has the innate ability to connect with ppl and keep those connections. Maybe that helps him duel wield
I always thought that since Xion could dual wield (at least in her final boss form in Days), after Roxas defeated her, he took back Sora's memories that she stole as well as inheriting her ability to dual wield; and after he returned to Sora, then Sora inherited the ability to dual wield. I thought that since Xion was an artificial experiment, she could do things that normal people or nobodies couldn't and being tied to Roxas and Sora, she gave them those skills as well.
The intro song is beautiful and epic at the same time!
I always thought that Roxas could naturally dual wield is because he essentially has two hearts inside since he was created when Ventus was still inside Sora’s heart thus his heart is half Sora and half Ventus enable for him to dual wield

I think he doesn’t anymore since at the end of 3 I’m pretty sure you can see Erasqueeze and Xenort rising into the sky as hearts. Which means it’s likely Eraqus’s heart has left Terra, meaning he can’t dual wield.

One thing about Kingdom Hearts that has confused me is why are hearts sometimes pink and heart shaped but other times they are golden yellow and spherical. Is there a reason for that as I’ve not been able to find a reason for it.

It's possible that the red hearts are only from fallen individuals but the real reason is more likely bad writing.

So Ephemer is now stuck in Sora's heart like the others were right? So, does that mean he could get his own replica and tell the tales of what happened? Perhaps give a warning about the Masters returning?
Spoilers for anyone who isn't caught up with the secret ending within the Re:Mind DLC yet (probably very few people, but still).
After Sora gets back from Quadratum, sure. Ephemer, being in Sora's heart 'n' all; is likely stuck there with him. Given that the MoM is also in Quadratum though, Sora might be needing more of Ephemer's help while he's there anyway; Nomura out here really making sure destiny never gets left to chance 'n' all.
If you’re right, this would imply that Ephemer will use the Ark alongside Skuld, Ventus, Lauriam, and Elrena, contrary to popular belief.

I have a question.... I always wondered how keyblades "works"
because, sometimes, they are those "magical" manifestation, strongly tied to the wielders and their hearts... like when Roxas is defeated by Riku on Days, then he lose consciousness, his keyblades just disappear... or Xehanort, after "possessing" Terra's body, summons his "No name", because is his heart on the body now...
but, in others scenes, they work like normal physical weapons... like after Eraqus dies, Aqua simple pick up his keyblade... or the weird scene of Riku giving a keyblade to Kairi out of nowhere... or when Aqua sends her keyblade back to the RoL, and can't use anymore... or even Riku changing to Braveheart after his keyblade broke...
it's just inconsistency, or there's some explanation to this?
I think for sora at least the reason is that he still has Roxas within him. As you said the replicas are kind of puppets that just project the heart that fills them, it’s not the true person (meaning heart,body, and soul to go with KH lore). Roxas is Sora’s body so if Roxas was out of Sora, he would be incomplete again which I don’t think is the intention.
Either that, or oathkeeper and oblivion have become innately linked, so anyone using oathkeeper or oblivion can summon their counterpart when they have trained enough
@@Hadeks_Marow Making Roxas and Xion loose their keyblades in the next game because Sora is no longer there could be a good plot point and characer development for the duo
@@Hadeks_Marow Recoded provides a part of the solution to this phenomenon. In it data sora is using a Keyblade replicated via data (aka not real), yet through data sora connecting with real hearts, he was able to become real and gain a heart of his own and create an actual real keyblade through connecting with others.
Roxas has done the same, with him only initially using Sora's keyblade until his connections with others through his journeying through worlds led him to grow a real heart with his own keyblade. This was part of the whole point in the original organization where you weren't allowed to interact with the citizens of the world, because they didn't want you growing hearts, when they we're to be filled with xehanorts. Xion's keyblade also isn't real initially, with it instead being a replica as stated by Riku, when he calls it a fake imitation, which is also seen in the final xion battle with it turning into it's replica form.
Also since data sora has a spare keyblade not in use anymore, perhaps that is where sora gets his spare, since I would presume Sora and data Sora are connected just through the fact that he was created and lives in jimmy's journal which was intimately connected with sora's heart.
Also doesn't sora not use the duel blades until after he is bequeathed the X-blade, which also can serve as another source for it.
@@Hadeks_Marow Just for the record, I havent watched the video yet lmao, but I stand with you that it doesn't make sense for them to have the kingdom key multiple times in kh3 time period, even if they have a heart now, it shouldnt be kingdom key.
Roxas shouldn't have a keyblade at all. Sora passing the ability of the keyblade to his nobody only works when he was his nobody, now he is his own person and even if he borrows it because they are connected only one should exist.
Xion's Key for me is just another replica, I really hope it breaks and she can develop a new one with her heart.
What's weird thou, in Days, when Roxas unlocks Sync blade, two kingdom keys appear and change their appearance to Oathkeeper and Oblivion. We Know that is Ven's key and Sora's key, but why two KK's? just because he is Sora's nobody and took the kks appearence? or is there something more owo
Also, Xehanorts data battle shows the x blade turning into KK and KKD (data battles are not canon i think but, maybe it shows the x blade behavior, maybe the process of roxas having two keys and two kks in a moment that turn into a light and dark looking blades really do mean something), and Kairi also can Borrow KK as shown in KHMOM just to count on how the borrowing works
@@Hadeks_Marow have you ever heard of a retcon man and hearts can forge keyblades and those keyblades can take whatever form think of way to dawn and axels keyblade. Roxas and xion didn’t have complete hearts in 358/2 days as it takes time to grow one hence why they didn’t have their own. Also keyblade duplicates are a thing xehanort proves this
@@K3Dvrk well it also must be stated that the kingdom key and kingdom key d are really special keyblades considering they’re the keyblades that embody the realm of light and dark respectively possibly making them the second most true keyblades behind the x-blade. I’ve always considered keyblade duplication a power of stronger keyblades like the MoM’s kingdom key and kingdom key d (and it’s quite obvious mickeys new keyblade is a variant of the kingdom key d possibly just a keychain which do exist canonically.
In the end of KHDDD, certain org members went back to their original times. So how did they time traveled a second time? If Young Xehanort went back to his original time and forget things, how would he remember to time travel again and remember DDD?
He doesn’t remember DDD tho that’s the thing, he just knows that he HAD to have played out the events of DDD as part of his plan in order for the events of KH3 to be happening cus he knows the others were brought forward through time by his doing

Also, according to the KH3 Ultimania, Org!Xion was Xion’s heart from the past. So why did YX decided to bring an extra candidate despite forgetting DDD?
@@marcoa6319 as far as I’m aware he can just move through time at will basically, he just can’t remember anything that he does upon going back to his original point in time, so probably between DDD and 3 he meets up with the others and they tell him they need one more heart and so he goes back to get Xion’s from a point in time before she befriended Roxas and Axel, but through some weird miracle of magic and friendship she’s able to remember them I guess. Although it’s entirely possible that Sora also had her current heart with him and it basically replaced or overwrote the other one she had because it was a more full heart and makes up who she actually is now? I imagine this would’ve happened when Xemnas kicks her over and she falls back onto Sora, they’re literally touching at that point so, can’t imagine when else it could’ve happened lol
@@SSlash Was there any time travel rule that states that you could only travel to one direction of time?; not back and forth?
@@marcoa6319 I think the rule was like you can travel to any point in time that a current version of you exists in, so like by all means YX shouldn’t be able to come back post kh3 since his modern self is gone for good now (hopefully), but you’re not allowed to change events that are “destined to happen” when going through time apparently, though that begs the question to me as to why he’s able to pull people through time along with himself, cus those people were gone already and yet brought back into existence by a means which you’d think would cause some type of paradox.
It’s one thing for Roxas’ heart for example to still exist within Sora and for it to be brought out and into a vessel, it’s another thing to go back in time, probably tell someone to off themselves and release their heart, and then bring it with you, or maybe they were able to also move forward on their own?
The rules state that they should be able to do so, so long as they cast aside their body basically, but naturally they wouldn’t be able to move forward past their point of death, but I guess YX just has special powers over time that allow him to bring and place their hearts in the replicas, now why does he that kinda power? Beats me man, it’s got something to do with Ansem though apparently

I'm pretty sure Roxas dual wields by tapping into xion's heart instead of Ventus's. That's why he holds both kingdom keys before turning them into oath keeper and oblivion.
If there is a moment if Roxas... for some reason... dies to sacrifice his life for someone else, namely Xion, because her life is more suffering than his, she would wield Oathkeeper and Oblivion, his powers can transfer to her, and only his powers. His heart and body can't be recompleted. Xion, out of grief, will honor his name by using the keyblades of the person who matters the most to her.
I figured for Sora it was just that double form isn't canon, and you can do anything with non-canon bonus content. Mostly because of what you have to do to get it. Why would the Moogles have Oathkeeper and Oblivion on them? Where would the proofs come from? And I assume difficulty selection isn't a canon thing that exists to the characters, so there's canonically no Critical Mode to get the Proof of Times Past with.

I really want to understand what the Replicas really like Vexen played God and created vessel that would allow life to begin anew. Do the replicas allow the hearts inhabiting to grow and age like normal beings? Are they machines or androids or something else entirely? I'm probably thinking about it too much man I have the wonder the implications to this. Like could Riku Replica could have a living breathing being similar yet separate has the all memories and characteristics of Riku but is just not Riku?

I like this explanation! I always figured it's because Roxas was born with the ability, but didn't know he could use it and eventually lost it once Xion started absorbing his powers. As for Sora, I figured he was able to dual wield once he reclaimed the keyblade from Riku and was acknowledged as it's true wielder. As for kh3 Roxas and Sora, I figured it was because Roxas was already born with the ability and Sora uses it by syncing his heart to Roxas (Or Riku & Kairi even though that would result in 3 keyblades I guess.)
I think Sora will use the new heart he gained to keep a new memory and hence keep the sync blade ability even when the person that is that heart is restored, Sora will be able to keep that ability.
And here I was thinking that it was just a Keyblade transformation...
Haven't watched the video yet but iirc Replicas replicate the weapons, abilities as well as the appearance of the person based on the memories of the heart inserted in them. So if you insert the heart of Xion inside a replica body it will take the form of Xion and will wield the Kingdom Key because these are the memories her heart contains. Therefore Roxas is using replica keyblades that are just as powerful as the real thing because his replica body is replicating his memories.

I believe after Sora gained his powers back like yensid said she then attained his memories just like Roxas of his own heart to be able to deal will get again kasura as we all know is a very unique person to even reach out to the light of the past to come to his Aid much like Ventus reached out to Sora in Birth by Sleep
I often forget memories are a very important thing in the Kingdom Hearts Lore.
I like to think roxas uses xions keyblade over ventus. It makes the finale of days much sadder

This is of topic but when I played Melody of Memories I relized that I like Roxas showing of his skill with a single Keyblade once in a while. Dont get me wrong I like dual wielding but its just really cool that Roxas is still a bad ass with just one Keyblade and looking at his boss fight in KH 2 FM he is even very capable with no Keyblade at all. I mean sure when the player knows what he is doing Roxas can not do much against Sora when he steals his Keyblades but he is still far more impresive then Sora was with no Keyblade in KH1 and Aqua with no Keyblade in KH 3.
It’s kinda baffling that roxas is the only one we’ve seen be able to do any type of impressive magic when he’s without his Keyblade, although Sora can cast with just the wooden sword it seems like he needs a catalyst for it almost
There's a couple of potential problems with this... We don't know for sure if memories are powerful enough to substitute as an actual heart in order to wield one Keyblade, never mind two. This was the whole reason why Nobodies can't wield them until they start developing new hearts. We can argue Lingering Sentiments here like with Terra's Keyblade Armor, but even then, I'm not sure if that's ever been fully explained.
I think Sora is the reincarnation of the Player from Union X. It would explain why Ephemer was able to reach out to Sora. Ephemer is connected to Sora because he met Sora in his past life as the Player. That bond survived death and rebirth. It would also explain why Sora is able to summon Wreck-It-Ralph in KH3. All the other Links are of people who Sora's heart connected to in his previous adventures. But Sora never met Ralph...at least not in his current lifetime. If he was the Player, well then that connection to Ralph could have remained going into his current life as Sora.
Now I know people may argue about whether reincarnation exists in the series, but remember that Kingdom Hearts is described as the place where all hearts are born and all hearts return to. Kind of sounds like a cycle of reincarnation to me. I think after working through their problems in the Final World, the heart would move onto Kingdom Hearts to begin a new life. Now I know we also have the whole Underworld afterlife in Olympus...but, reincarnation was also a thing in Greek mythology. You would spend your time in whatever part of the Underworld you were sentenced to (Elysium, Tarturus, Fields of Asphodale), and then afterwards you would drink from the River Lythe in order to forget your previous life before being reincarnated into a new life. If you made it to Elysium at the end of 3 lifetimes in a row, then you would gain access to the Islands of the Bless where you would spend eternity in paradise and never reincarnate again.
Kind of makes you wonder if we could meet the reincarnations of Xehanort and Eraqus in the future.
Sadly that would undercut the theme of Sora’s character. Nomura wrote Sora to be special as a result of his connections to others, so making him a reincarnation of someone would effectively make him too close to some kind of chosen one archetype. He’s special because of how his personality and journey is forged through his relationships not because he’s the subject of some legendary prophecy or any other trope along those lines.
@@benji777tm I never mentioned a prophecy or him being a chosen one. And Sora wouldn't be the only reincarnation. I'm stating reincarnation happens for EVERYONE in the KH universe.
Not to mention the Player character really isn't all that important in the Union X. Compared to the Union Leaders, the Foretellers, the Master of Masters, and Luxu, the Player isn't a driving part of the story. He/She is only important due to his/her's connection to Ephemer and Skuld.
So everything that Nomura said about Sora's character is still true even if he is the reincarnation of the Player.
Not to mention it would play right into something else Nomura said about Sora. Nomura has said that Kingdom Hearts is Sora's story. So far we haven't seen or heard anything of Sora in Union X. But if the Player is Sora in a past life then all of sudden it does make Union X a part of Sora's story.
And it's the only solution to explain how Sora can use Ralph as a Link regardless.

Funny about the Ephemer stuff I thought of an AU with Sora being a reincarnated Ventus and now I think Ephemer helping Sora here would be more heartwarming as he's helping his closet friend within thought he has a new form and no memories of the ancient past.
Yep, it would be a HUGE way to adding a HUGE importance to the mystery on how Sora's heart can be the key to explaining what happened in Union X
Was also thinking wouldnt it have been awesome if Riku dual wielded vs Aqua or something, he did have Repliku in him.
When we see Roxas return in KH 3 Remind we noticed that Sora who is in Roxas heart wielding two keyblades. The thing is we were never able to wield two keyblades UNTIL remind. They might’ve did this to show us that when Sora wields one of Roxas’s keyblades he also has the ability for Roxas to lend him strength in times when he is battling with the Oathkeeoer and Oblivion, hence explaining that he can still wield two keyblades, because Roxas is lending him some of his power to Sora when battling. This can also explain why Sora is able to dual wield with ONLY the oathkeeper and oblivion rather than dual wielding with completely random keyblades. It’s just a theory though.

I just thought that Keyblade graveyard moment where he connected with Roxas was the reason. I mean, he always said his friends were his strength, so couldn't he just be using something similar to a D Link in Birth By Sleep to dual wield like Roxas?
Also, I'm confused on how the Guardian works now. I know it's Terra, but can it exist in two people, or what? Strange that Ansem didn't use it even though he probably could.
Nah ansem did use it against Aqua earlier in the game, but by the time we fight him later Terra is back so there’s no guardian to summon anymore
Roxas didnt really need an explanation, regardless he's both parts Sora and Ven so still works. Sora is connected to many hearts so who knows his power at this point. He's basically Goku with transformations at this point.
my answer: they knew that people with faith in nomura will act like it makes sense until he bothers to retcon it to make sense, if he ever bothers.

Roxas connects with himself through Xion to dual-wield. Days goes through painstaking lengths to make it extremely clear that the key is split between the two, with one episode literally halving your level and giving the lost power to her. Eventually through unusual circumstances, they both gain the ability to share its power without harming the other. The power is mirrored equally. When he no longer has anyone to eat ice cream with, that power is released; since she (and the memory of her) disappear, he gets her blade. Here's the biggest evidence: Roxas doesn't actually get more powerful by having both blades. Sure there's the scene with him one-shotting NeoShadows, but that's just custom programming designed for cinematics. There's literally a scene after where Riku and Roxas kill an entire field of NeoShadows just by standing back to back. I don't think that was intended as anything other than cinematics, and that they literally just got defeated for no reason. You can see him at his true power in Mission Mode (non-canon) and in the KH2 fight where his power level is high, but at about the level it was when he was single-wielding.
The biggest evidence for 'mirror-heart' theory is that the two blades have opposing affinities; literally mirroring the other. Roxas is a 0-state entity (Nobody) split into a +1 and a -1.
Dude I love Roxas, he’s such a bad ass, even more so in KH3. Also, I kinda figured out most of what you talked about, but I never thought about Ephemer possibly residing in Sora as a way to help him fight the Shadow Storm. I was just so hyped at that part to think about it lol.

I thought of double form being like a d-link to Roxas. To me, that could be why Sora’s able to dual wield if the Ephemer thing isn’t true
So say someone has no access to a keyblade, but wants one really badly. They want one so badly that they lose their mind a little and convinced themselves that they have one. (meaning they remember having a keyblade) According to your theory, a heart that is given form through a replica retains their powers/appearance at their prime. Could they obtain a keyblade this way since it's in their memories? If a memory, no matter how false, is real for that person, could it be made real through this process?
The Longest reach to that is that it could conjure a "fake" Keyblade or weapon that can still manifest but would pale in comparison to the real thing, and we have seen that before in Kingdom Hearts with Data Sora's "Digital" Keyblade

They are the reasons why the Keyblades took that shape for Roxas yes, due to them being Sora's strongest Memories
So this is the official explanation eh? My headcanon was very simpler, i always tought synch blade worked like 'you got it, you got it', meaning once you have it you don't need the extra heart anymore to trigger the ability... to be honest tho, im still gonna stick to my headcanon kek

Actually I think the reason why sora can still dual wield is because of the unique way *his* oblivion and oath keeper were created
A keyblade is normally forged from the heart of a person
But oblivion is the physical form of sora's memories of Riku it's forged from memory not heart
And oath keeper is the physical form of the promise between sora and kairi
It's most likely made of both kairi and sora's hearts
That's what I believe at least
in kingdom hearts 2 the keyblade that sora uses in Valor and Master form is not Vens, but Master Yen Sid's which he gave to sora when sora became his new student by visiting his tower. the same way he gave it to Michael Mouse when he became his student previously and whom had returned it to Yen Sid after obtaining the Kingdom Key of the real of darkness (d). as for how he can use 2 after the point in kingdom hearts 3 where Ven's heart has left him and taken its key along with it, we never see Yen Sid using his keyblade, so it can be assumed sora still has it and is probably to stupid to even know it

So my question is what does a heart need to become worthy of being a keyblade wielder and can that worthiness be taken away PERMANENTLY?. Since riku was able to take it in kh1 since it was his but sora had a stronger resolve and took it back, is there a way to lose it for good?
@HMK I'm hoping you'll be able to do a video regarding the possibility of Sora obtaining his Master's Mark signifying his ascension as a Full-fledged Keyblade Master. That's my hope for Sora as the Kingdom Hearts franchise continues.
Huh I assumed the reason Roxas was able to Dual wield in the End of 358/2 days was because he grew a heart of his own and through out the game he was using Ventus's Heart to summon his Keyblade
So Sora just steals hearts casually.
Personally, even though the lore explanation for Sync Blade is that the ability came from Ventus, I have a personal headcanon that I honestly prefer that the ability to Dual Wield came from Xion.
Xion's initial ability to wield a Keyblade at all was based in her replica capacity to copy and steal Roxas' power - technically speaking, she never had a Keyblade of her own - but as she began to absorb Sora's memories and develop her own person-hood, she and her Keyblade started to become 'real'. By the end of 358, her stolen powers had solidified as HER powers - her Keyblade became her own.
And Roxas ONLY exhibited the ability to dual wield AFTER killing Xion. My headcanon is that in returning her stolen memories to Roxas and Sora, her solidified power to use her own Keyblade also transferred back and thus granted them the Sync Blade ability. And so just as Xion's stolen ability to use a Keyblade became real through exposure, even without the extra hearts entrapped within Sora, the ability to use two Keyblades has been ingrained within his and Roxas' hearts permenantly - they simply have the ability by nature at this point, and it cannot be taken away from them, just as Xion's Keyblade cannot be taken away from her.
