Thanks a lot Gilbert for this very nice video and your kind words. Just a few notes from my side: The counters have rounded corners and are 100% nib free, we are very proud of having found a print technique allowing this. The play aids are not only printed on card board but also have folded edges. They are used a lot and need to be very durable. There a huge differences to the Hexasim system: Scale is 150 meters per hex, we have different formations for the units and the Activation Cubes are used to activate individual formations. Among the 1400 counters are 280 alternative counters (pollard markers for example) and we provided plenty of step loss markers (better too much than too few). So, all in all I'd say a medium monster :-) But very playable. I will need to provide Gilbert with the latest rules version. And because Gilbet mentioned the size of the game: We will do many one mappers in this seies: AUERSTAEDT 1806, QUATRE BRAS 1815, WARTENBURG 1813, ALBUERA 1811, ASPERN-ESSLING 1809 etc.
This game is going to go toe-to-toe with NES' Winter's Victory! Both at least LOOK splendid, so the proof of the pudding will have to be in the *playing*. Sound the charge!!!
I watch all your videos and am only writing to say thanks. It's such a mellow channel with such inspiring comments about the games and the spirit of playing them. Thanks
Beautiful looking game. Being I am facinated by Napoleon I will have to check it out. I think the game was mad out love. Whem you go out to make a game look so good.
thank you, Douglas, we really tried to give a lot of attention to each detail. The mounted play aids are not only mounted, they also have folded edges. The dice are not simply dice, but customized. And so on :-)
Haha, the old dilemma :-) You can't make it right for everone. Mounted maps are also available. We tried to figure out what the majority prefers and decided to go with map sheets in the box.

YOU DON'T SCARE ME
Bless you for the Nib-Free counters!
My copy has not arrived yet, I'm in the southern united states. I'm starting to panic!
It is on its way, in the boat! I had shipped in some copies via airfreight to forward them to reviewers.
Ooooooh, Albuera!!! :D
My foot is tapping increasingly rapidly as I await the arrival of this splendid-looking game in this, the Year of Eylau.

@@Stiglr From what I gather, this game is less complex rules wise then Winter's Victory. It also seems more solitaire friendly.
Hammer, it is way less complex than the NES game and very solitaire suitable.
Those are indeed beautiful components. Thank you for sharing.

Thanks for the comments. I get that 'voice review' quite often but I am unaware of it really. Some say I should speak louder.
Couldn’t agree more! Have been watching for many years. The mellow style is perfect
Waiting patiently for delivery in Australia.
The tally stick is to keep track of the modifiers which are plenty!
thank you for another informative show

Waiting patiently for delivery to Canada. Just received 'Winter's Victory' by NES so I will be playing these monsters for the rest of the year.
Me, too. Looks like these are going to be very hard to separate in terms of quality!! May the best blizzard win!
Appreciate your quality videos.
Tally Stick: Shows how far you have to go to make a first down.
I'm anxiously waiting for my deluxe copy! Where is it?????
On the boat -:)
@@uwewalentin Will there be tracking #'s sent out? Thanks
MOUNTED charts and tables yet PAPER game maps??
Seems strange to me too. I'd rather have the reverse. Doubt I'll ever play the game, so it doesn't really matter.

The deluxe version of this game comes in a beautiful wooden box and includes mounted maps!
For 'Uwe', think 'oovey'!
OSG prints its Russians in brown based on the color of their greatcoats- attempting to visualize a column on the march....
I do prefer the Green for Russians myself.
Agreed.@@hammer2722
Uwe is pronounced (OO-vey).
