I'd suggest somehow making it chamber Half darts better and upping the power a bit, maybe some more rubber bands. You should then run it in a war, just for the memes.

This lego is surprisingly awesome to play. I've bought this lego and I had a blast with it. The rubber bands are not that strong though. So I switched to a stronger rubber band to increase the range
I have one that was brown and marketed as a Kar98K and it has a sturdy stock that has dart storage with no holes in it. It also came with a non lego sniper scope with a dim light

Honestly? This is cooler than majority of nerf blasters. I would actually use this over something like a stryfe. As a MOCer with a lot of Lego parts, I'll definitely mod mine. I'm planning to make the barrel shorter, make the grip bigger, add better sights, maybe redesign the stock and make it shoot harder if possible. If these work out, I'll try making a small hopper on the top. (it won't be an issue for aiming since sights will be on the side, kinda like on the howell automatic).

the magazine feeding mod is just making a hole on the side/bottom and sticking a nerf modulus mediator magazine holder onto that place and basically done

Cada is actually a pretty good brick company, its one of the few legitimate chinese good quality non copying brick companies, they aren't the same quality as lego but cheaper esspecially with motorized sets($30 for a small motor LEGO? sheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeesh).
Brad use it for prototyping 3d printed blasters. That way you could use it for diffrent formfactors or you even could try putting in a flywheel system... 😃

Im kinda like a scout sniper, i typically wear a wwii pilot jacket that i found for $45 and a beret bc i really only use slow blasters, due to well, being able to be quiet but accurate.
The one on the front is based off of the p90, the back are an AK model, a 12 gauge double barrel shotgun, and a m1903 or some other bolt action rifle. Not a Garand, as it isn't semiautomatics like the Garand.
I know this may sound stupid, but theoretically you can turn this into a bolt action Bren gun by simply just using some lego plates and paper. Also beret kinda lookin like a french ww2 resistance fighter.
I think the half dart not scanning right is that it keeps track of the start and end of the dart going thru and the small bullet creates an illusion that it is moving faster than it actually is. If you know what I’m saying
Try modifying it by fitting PVC down the barrel and changing the rubber with some higher quality slingshot rubber. Although find the right one because there's a reason why the bands and underpowered; too strong and it'll shatter the Lego parts holding it.

The parts are certainly modeled after genuine lego parts, but they're slightly different visually and I'm sure they also feel different as well.
