  • Vintage Native American Navajo rug in a Storm Warrior pattern in gray, brown, ivory, Pink, and Brown Colors. The Navajo rug was hand-woven in the SW United States by Geraldine Johnson the matriarch of the famous Johnson weaving clan circa the 1920-1930. This rug has a very unique and wonderful color combination including gray, brown and ivory. The rug is very finely woven. The storm pattern composition is quite beautiful and the water bugs are quite nice. Overall it is an outstanding example of fine Navajo weaving art from one of the most renowned Navajo weaving families.
    Provenance: The Navajo rug was woven by Geraldine Johnson, the matriarch of the Johnson clan, one of the most renowned Navajo weaving families, woven circa the 1930s.
