Victoria 3 as the Ottomans
In this playthrough of Victoria 3 we will play as the Ottoman empire and will try to get rid of the sick man of Europe by completing Tanzimats. After that we will try to make a big power bloc and conquer a lot of the world.

I've never really micromanaged when playing, but it is interesting to see how making some small changes can really help the economy. I look forward to the rest of the series!

In my all runs I also never achieve education tanzimat so I start digging why, then I found one post on Reddit. You really need 42% literacy to fill a progress bar. Possible goal, but the hardest achievement for sure, with a lot effort to make it.

I really struggle with micromanaging Production Methods, especially in mid-late game. Do you have any tips on making that easier? Other than clicking on each building individually?
It depends on the production methods you mean. There are some that fire labourers for better productivity and some just make more goods

I was able to get the grain price to +30% but corn laws still didn't trigger. Why would that be?
You need to set export focus on the tradegood.
@@FlyingDutchy Did that, exported to all possible routes, even started a small war to increase grain consumption by army and prices went up to +38%. Still nobody protested and no corn laws triggered, like modern Turkey today :D

Still needs to continue. Also the EU4 run. Paradox always releases everything at the same time instead of separately for some reason.

@@FlyingDutchy Check it out, they have a bunch of videos on TH-cam. It looks like Victoria 2. They had a kickstarter earlier this year and made a bunch of money. EA is in September. You can actually command your armies 😂

What type of cpu you have
My cpu struggles to run the game
The game is notoriously bad on performance. In the beginning it was even worse. I am on a ryzen 7 5700x. I think that the engine paradox uses only uses 1 core at the same time? Or maybe 2? So the full potential of a lot of cpus is not used in the game.
Finally vic3 is playable?
I have to say that the game is getting better yes!
