Not where I lived, thank god. Small town, less then 2000. 4 cops. They were all good. The sheriffs on the other hand, were the real bane of our town. The big sheriff, stalked my best friend and stole evidence from the locked safe. Thank the stars he was quickly fired and replaced. More for the stalking of my friend then stealing. He served 12 years

It should be made a law all around the world that if the murderer doesn't tell where the body is by the time they have served their sentence then they should remain in prison until they do. For every year they don't say where the body is, a further year should be added to their sentence..

So the police had beef with the dad, somehow don't find the dad's body and says he's the one who murdered his wife and kidnapped the girls, then ignore and "lose" the insurance card that would've directly led them to the ones responsible and the girls who were still alive for two weeks after the crime. That doesn't sound so much like incompetence to me but more like it's intentional.

He was offered money and a release for information to their bodies and he had nothing. The supposed mastermind. And conveniently the other 2 are dead. Meth was rampant back then and now

Same situation in Trenton Missouri. Local sheriff covered up evidence, and closed case on a young man that went missing. A year later he was found hanging from a tree in plane site .But he was a corpse and his feet were gone .A private investigation showed he had been in a freezer and died a year earlier. The family had to investigate on thier own and nothing or no one in the local sheriff s office were questioned

Why wasn't being able to locate the bodies a condition of the plea agreement?? I know sometimes prosecutors do that. Why in the hell not for this one? That Judge should be yanked from the bench to think that asshole had any shred of truth coming out of his mouth.
