Niveau qualité des composant pas top si l'on a déjà un ampli AVR de bonne facture ! mais il a peu être sa place derrière un ampli AV moyen de gamme, mais pour un peu plus en 3 canaux et aussi puissant je préfère le ATOLL AV100 (made in France)😜 qui a une très bonne qualité HIFI en plus ( 2 X 340 VA torique et 6 condensateurs de capacité courant : 44 000 µF )........... merci pour la présentation
Great content as always! I like the look and it is a pretty good deal, but for $100 more you could get the Emotiva BasX A5, which is 95 watts/channel into 8 ohms, all channels driven. I think most people would be better off spending the extra $100 for the extra wattage.

in countries like India, emotiva is overpriced and the tonewinner is the only good option .
Emotiva is measured @ 1% THD compared to the tonewinner at 0.1% THD. They probably have near identical power if they were measured the same so IMO no its not worth the extra $100

Please review this amp with 3 channel mode also. i wonder, how much improvement it will be compared to 3700h for LCR.

Just found your channel and really enjoyed how your putting forth knowledge that most channels won’t . After your recommendation I got UMIK-1 Mic used it For my Dirac live and used DB meter To set sound levels to reference . Sounds way better than just standard room EQ and more even.
I have a small room with sort of an open back wall that opens in to the kitchen. I’m running 7.2.4 Klipsch RP series setup .

My Question is should I switch my backs with my sides or is it optimal the way I have it ? I have been getting conflicting information .I have the Rp600M’s spaced at 5 feet apart from each other or 2.5ft from the center listening position and 3.5 feet behind the couch and angled in that’s my rear surround. my Right&left side surround I have RP502s which are dipole. I can’t put them straight to the side of the listening position/ 90 degrees since my couch is against a wall/sliding glass door on the left side and on the right side there’s staircase wall/railing so I have them placed evenly away from the center listening position and 2 feet behind each corner of my couch angled inwards . Is this optimal with what’s speakers I have ? Is The502s that are dipole better for surrounds or for rears ?

Ever tried to warranty one? I have good luck. No support. Looks sounds great… then it starts to go south….
They have a two year warranty. If you have a great dealer like Aamir He'll take care of you.
They don't look like something I'd get. I'd go Emotiva myself in this category.

But this company DID NOT stand behind tonewinner. $1300 5180 amp was down one channel and another was going bad when I got rid of it.
@@hometheatergurus I like your channel a lot, but I don't you should risk you reputation for brands like this, it's gonna bite you long term and the Chinese aren't invested in anything for the long haul...
It's just a review but they've been around a long time and made amps for other brands we are very familiar with. You may own some they've made. I did 10 years ago but didn't know it. I do agree this particular amp may not be such a great buy with the BasX 5 channel being $100 with more power. The 7300 and 8300 are the amps in the lineup that really appeal to me on all fronts.
I know quite a lot of guys that have had Tonewinner for years and love them and guys that have had amps made by them for other companies for well over a decade. That is messed up if the warranty wasn't honored so I 'd highly recommend being careful about the dealer you use.
I just bought a Tonewinner AT-300 processor and under the speaker cross over settings I see "SW high pass filter" and "SW low pass filter". What should these be set to?
With this amp tonewinner is it alright if I plug my subwoofer to the amp output on the amp
You need a subwoofer amp. Either a plate amp or a pro amp like Berhinger, Crown, Speaker power etc.
For the life of me I just can’t get around hearing “tonewinner” and thinking of “whitevan”. Could they get any cheezier? Holy mackerel, LG used to be “Lucky Goldstar”, and on my perception they still are. Re “tonewinner” they need to work so hard at this point to get around the association that they are exploitative Chinese junk. I’ve been through so much of this. Good luck to y’all (and to them, if they can realize what the problem might be.)

I think those who have already tried Chinese designed stuff, give them a wide berth. I had a Chinese designed motorbike once and it still haunts me in my dreams after 13 years. Sometimes I wonder how the Chinese manage to get out of bed in the morning, go to work and manufacture crap like that...
My Polk speakers will not like 71 watts I used to have a Denon s750h and that was 75 watts and my speakers disliked it they wouldn't stop clipping or popping. 80 watts is more of a sweet spot or 100 watts anything lower then 80 watts it's a big no no for my speakers
You definitely need to size the amp for the system but clipping or popping sounds like a bad amp. That isn't what happens if you lack power which would be clipping and dynamic compression.
@@hometheatergurus yeah and Denon didn't even wanna refund or try to give me a new one so I went with Yamaha
@@Lowkey_nxthxn BTW the Denon s750h is likely to put out more like 40w a channel (all driven )and possibly even less, so an amp like the 5100 would be a substantial upgrade in power. AVR manufactures will spec one channel driven even at high distortion to look better to buyers.

I had Denon s760h, and upgraded to x3700h and then added an Emotiva A3 for LCR. Difference is definitely noticeable from the s760. Have fun
