Hi Marie it brings me great joy to see you harvest the beautiful veggies out of you garden. Have you ever heard of sofrito.:celery, onion, tymegarlic, sweet peppers You can throw it some hot ones too and some parsley blend everything in blender and use it marinate and use it for just about anything ❤❤
Hello Marie, happy Sunday, I also gave up on my cucumbers. Bugs ate all the leaves. Nothing works. I saw an African using lemon grass water. He just boiled the leaves and bottled it as an insect repellent. I also saw a guy using salt and water on his vegetable garden . I think I’ll try this method on my newly planted vegys . I’ll let u know.
I watched you planted the corns and now i am watching the harvest. God is good. Hi Marie! Question! Can you tell what is the whitish, browish lines on my tomato callaloo and pepper plant?
Miss Marie big up really enjoying your farming videos you really strengthening me to leave my 9 to 5 to do farming big time where do you purchase your pepper 🌶 seeds
I don't make a cent from my garden, but farming can be profitable. So do make sure to hang on to your job until you see it profitable in your farm. Most of my pepper seeds are from Home Depot USA 🇺🇸
Happy Sunday Marie and family. Got home from church two hours ago and while having my dinner I watched you harvesting from your lovely garden. So very impressive. It's such a blessing when you can eat from what you've planted. Keep it up Marie. May God continue to rain down his blessings on you and your family.❤🙏🏽🇨🇦
Such a great harvest, Marie! Those colored leaves were huge, the eggplants, the peppers, the corn you’re doing a great job and saving your family so much money🪴 I saw your grocery store shopping and what the bill was so yes, you gardening is saving money.
Good morning Marie keep up the good work with your gardening I have to tell you one thing yeah you you should harvest your okra you're okay it's too big to arvest they're going to be really tough I just thought I would share that with you continue doing your beautiful job continue with your beautiful job

Oooo Marie, Im growing corn both in containers and inground; ants are truly a challenge. Let me suggest that you save the corn silk (look up the uses).
Lovely corn. I love corn too. Praying for a food garden like yours one day. Mentally I’m ready to retire from work and start planting as my new full time job but I can’t just yet unfortunately 😢. Keep up amazing work. Also I heard you can cook the okra leaf and eggplant leaves as well. Soak in baking soda wash and sauté down just like callaloo ❤️🙏🏾
Miss Marie, blessings to you and the family. Do you know that there is a male and female part of corn? Do you know how to make sure they fertilize correctly? The grass like fluffy end that pops out the head of the corn is the female part and the male part is the fluffy part at the top of the plant that have the little seeds on them. When that part is dry then use it to fertilize the female part below.
Yes I always help to pollinate my corn. The correct name for the male flower is the tassel which has on the pollen dust at the top and the female flower is the silk or hair located on the corn 🌽. If the tassel dries out it's no good. The corn has to be pollinated with a few days after the silks appears. But you had the basic idea
Good morning Marie nice garden keep it up always watching from Trinidad
Thanks so much

Where you get red scotch bonnet pepper seed. I've seen the red one
I got the pepper years ago and saved the seeds
@@FarmingOnTheRocks okay. Thanks
You're welcome 😊
if you want to grow carrots put seeds in some dirt in the freezer for a few hours then plant out as carrots needs cold
None of the farmers here does that though
@lindacharles7283 No, stop misleading the lady
Hi Marie how is the collard green eaten?
It's like cabbage leaves, harder to cook, but delicious when done
I have gone through this morning and picked them off. Funny thing it's baby plants i have just transplanted. As soon as i see more i will
Thanks on the collard green

Appreciate it
Can we make an exchange I have more hot peppers and no sweet peppers
I really don't need any peppers, hot or sweet my darling. I would be greedy
My pepper and tomato plants are coming along. They look healthy, blossom a lot but blossoms are falling off 😢
That will happen sometimes when it's too hot 🔥 keep at it though and thanks for sharing
@@FarmingOnTheRocks I try to put them in shade but that doesn’t work either
No the shade makes it worst. The need full sun 🌞 but the temperature these days makes it hard
@@FarmingOnTheRocks 😩
Do you have any basil plants?
Oh yes, plenty
@@FarmingOnTheRocks How do you use it?
@@Migysuperfly in cooking meats 🍖 teas, and most importantly, attract pollinators to my garden and help with pest control (somewhat)
@@FarmingOnTheRocks Thanks. Any meats that you specifically thinks it goes well with?
Beef and chicken
Timun yang ditanam itu jenis apa saja kak marie ?
