Thank yo ufor the video. Where is the crash sensor for the airbag located on this? I couldnt spot it in the video.

      Hi there,
The crash sensors are from memory in the B pillars or it might have been a plate located under the front seats. I have a video in this berlingo playlist that covers the removal of the interior have a look through them as i definitely recall showing their removal in the video. I took those sensors out and set them somewhere in the shed.

Bonjour , est- il vraiment nécessaire de démonter les deux pneus avant. Peut on démonter le parechoc avant sans démonter les deux pneus avant. merci et bonne journée

Hi, it is probably possible to work around the front tyres however i think the improved access that having them out provides, is worth the very small bit of effort that is involved with the removal of the tyres. Certainly from the point of trying to make a video it provides a much clearer view of what is going on if the tyres are removed.

Why you taking everthing apart for ?

0:06 to 0:10 covers that aspect. It was written off, so breaking it down for parts but also to create these videos to show how it was disassembled.

What an infuriating flimsy pile of overcomplicated rubbish, a nightmare for any DIYer wanting to do even simple repairs, but then this is no different to most modern heaps. Try replacing a water pump and pipework on a Transit van, or a timing belt on a Focus !!

I really cant agree at all there, this is a really easy front end to take apart, its no more complicated than any other modern vehicle and well within the grasp of anyone with ordinary tools. I know because my mate has replaced the front end of his outside his house.
If its a diesel focus with the 1.6 then its a fairly easy belt to do, the ecoboost with the wet belt seems like its more work than it needs to be, i dont understand the need for a wet belt.

@@peugeotCitroen2CV Maybe. Looking at your video it seems the whole front end comes off as one. Can you just remove the bumper on its own easily ? Thanks.

I took everything off in this video as the vehicle was for scrap but also it let me show all get removed which may be necessary if its had a front end shunt.
You can remove the bumper on its own and leave behind the slam panel, lights and wings. It is a sizeable part but not heavy.

@@peugeotCitroen2CV Thanks for the prompt reply. I'm fiddling with a broken front end at the moment, trying to piece it back together, maybe that's why I'm finding difficulty ? Nothing lines up, and parts of the support behind is cracked etc.

The first time can be tricky, wee clips or brackets if they have been broken it can take a bit of fettling to get it right, especially if the support is broken behind. There might be a call as to weather it needs to be replaced also but fixing after damage it can be either frustrating or enjoyable. First few times frustrating is normal. Join the berlingo owners club on facebook page it’s great for help and or parts. Hope this video in some way helps dont be afraid to ask if you get stuck with any parts of it.
