- Every time I see this car at an event it catches my eye. Multiple variations of black paint, clean interior, LS powered badass. This is such an exceptional tri 5 and I'm not typically into tri 5's but how can't you love this car?

I love how the black actually hides the 4 door and makes it look 2 door almost!

You can tell it is a four door from the rear. 4 door sport sedans used a different back window.

My very first car back in 1969 was a 55 Chevy four door and nobody wanted four doors ........now after watching this I wish I had it back I paid a wopping $200 back then

My first 57 was a 4-slammer hard top. I love the roofline on them. This is a outstanding build.
Dude the matte on top of the gloss with in the same places the 2 tone originally was is SUUUUCH a slick and unique idea.

Very nice and different combo of matte and gloss......gonna be a lot of guys copying this in the future! Generally don't like 'em bagged but the stance on this thing is SO RIGHT that the bags are great. There's a lot more to this ride than meets the eye. The longer a fella looks; the more he sees......pretty awesome.

Sick build! I'd swap the yellow tinted parking lights for red tinted ones for an ever more sinister look
I don’t know I had a 1987 Buick Grand National and it had the yellow bulbs in the front and it looked bad ass especially at dawn when the clouds would turn yellow the car just looked so sweet

Shawn, much like what some of the other commenters said, it's was really hard to notice that it's actually a 4 door. After seeing this wild paint job,
it really lends itself to other new ideas. Something that popped into my head was wondering how the car would look if unpainted black carbon fiber
(and cleared) was substituted for the shiny black paint? Or, if the black carbon fiber was placed in the flat black paint areas only? Another scheme
idea would be to use black ghost flame styles (or other colors of choice, perhaps blue) on a fully painted flat black body. Later!

The most beautiful dark bel-air I have ever seen..i love them..and this one looks like it mite have been a prototype and they didn’t build it..but always nice cars and a good video to go along with it..

I have a 57 4dr 210 and this was the color I had in mind. With Matt black and gloss. Wheels would probably be Detroit steel. Awesome build.
56 is my favorite of the Tri Fives. And you can hardly notice it has 4 doors. Great use of gloss and matte finishes. Just looks sinister.

AutotopiaLA nice to see the 4 doors being loved. I’ve seen some four doors be converted into two doors and you can’t tell it was ever a 4 door which makes me question that. But the idea of chopping sections hurts.

It's hard to tell that it's a four door at first glance. Really like his take on matte black to gloss black contrast. I am sure thiers some purist out their all hot and bothered by all the blacked out chrome and the bird on the hood. Plus thoose wheels with the knock offs, shut the front door.

The 56 Bel Air offers the best chrome trim break for a 2 tone paint job. I had a red and white 56 nomad and even that trim was perfect for a 2 tone paint and those two colors made that car pop.
This was a great call with the flat and shinny.. its definitely a one of a kind.
Saw it again yesterday with about 2000 cars and it always stands out. Beautiful build
