Ellie, I’m 21. I’m disabled and sapphic (im like 90% lesbian but i have liked guys too). It’s hard sometimes. Hard isn’t even a strong enough word... but its also amazing sometimes! When I show friends Jessica’s videos, they always tell me my girlfriend and I are a lot like her and Claudia! I’ve been with her 2 years now, and she’s my favorite person. Between finding my chosen family, slowly being accepted by my biological family, and finding her... honestly I’m happier now than I ever was before the chronic illness got worse. Until stumbling upon your videos a few years back I'd never known of another chronically ill, disabled, femme lesbian, and was unconvinced that I'd find someone who could love me romantically. Have I found someone? Not yet, but seeing your and Claudia's complete unconditional love for each other changed the way I viewed myself and my ability to be loved (for lack of a better phrase). Even more importantly, I found someone walking a road similar to mine. Thank you, Jessica, for sharing yourself, your story, and your knowledge--you are a role model I wouldn't have had otherwise!

I'm from the south in the US, and we here tend to, at least in my area, say this constantly to almost anyone and everyone that we care for. We do genuinely mean it, but, I noticed a lot of people outside of our states tend to just be incredibly confused by it.
@@rach2909 I live in Ohio but have family in Tennessee, Alabama and Florida and I generally prefer the people in their regions because they tend to be more overtly friendly and loving. People here are just weirded out if you are overly friends with strangers.

Jessica, I just want you to know (if you're ever having a bad day) that your channel means so much to me. I descovered you after my most recent suicide attempt (I first tried when I was 7 years old) and as a young disabled women getting on with life and just generally being awesome you really helped me pick myself back up and try again. You always make me smile and remind me it's okay to be myself. Thank you for all you do, never stop believing in yourself and don't push yourself to hard as wearing yourself down will help noone and will just make you feel rubbish. Your best is enough and so much more. ♥

My gf is a disabled femme lesbian (who is also into vintage fashion) she’s actually the one who introduced me to your content! RE: veganuary, I'm vegan and low fodmap! Eating out can be a struggle but on a daily basis when I'm just at home, it's totally fine. I also have chronic pain so I've worked out quick, low energy meals that I can make. Give it a try!

Claudia - it's my favourite Christmas carol too, it's called Carol of the Bells, which originally is based on the Ukrainian folk chant "Shchedryk. The original is absolutely amazing, there's videos on TH-cam with choirs singing it and it is INCREDIBLE. also thanks for making me feel less alone and that I'm not the only person who rates that carol over others.

Thank you for showing the moments when you are fatigued and aren’t as well. I know it must be hard to keep making a video when you aren’t feeling well so I extra appreciate that you let us see those moments. Seeing you yawn during a conversation and slip up with words, etc actually made me feel so not alone. It happens to me so often and you don’t really see others who struggle with it. And you both have such a positive fun attitude towards it which helps me be more positive about my own too. Also the love you two have for each other warms my heart!

Also, Jessica, my older daughter struggles with Dyslexia the same way you did/do. It’s hard for people to understand how taxing it is for her to write when she is reading books beyond her grade level, but we see the struggle she goes through and support her as best we can.

Growing up when I would be in the hospital, the other kids my age were very... infantilized by their parents, in a way that they didn't have the hopes and dreams that I had. They never dreamed of working or living on their own or getting married, and these were kids with primarily physical disabilities similar to mine. We had little in common and in a lot of ways I had a hard time getting along with them; me a nerdy girl who loved school and fashion and reading. And TH-cam wasn't really a thing then. Oh what a difference it would have made to have been able to watch you back then. You may have just inspired me to start making videos of my own someday.
What I love most about you and your videos is I am learning that it is okay not to be 100% all the time. I am in the process of getting diagnosed and seeing a specialist, but have been struggling with headaches and migraines. You use some terminology like "brain fog" that I use as well. Your video like the one on migraines really helped me realize my aura, and other symptoms attached. Thank you for being an advocate, I feel like I'm not alone, and that also I can still do things and live my life.
Also, you and Claudia are lovely together.

I had a long journey with my sexuality. Watching your videos helped me process how I really felt inside and I've come to the conclusion I'm bi. I'm actually engaged to be married to a wonderful man who accepts and loves me for all of who I am, but just realizing and expressing my truth made so much difference in my confidence.
You could honestly read the telephone book and find your way to make it elegant and sassy and touching and deep. Thanks for modeling the self love it takes to give a perfectionist self a break, for another fantastic video and for being your adorable, authentic self.
