I already said this in one of the other videos and you could see it in this video for a brief moment: You can lure trolls into the sunlight to turn them into stone =)
There's a masterwork shield you can build at the first great forge; combining that with the first maul you can make is very effective! I was able to take down the first Orc Town boss with that combination very quickly in my SP game. The shield's block can't be broken through, and it doesn't wear out or break. (But it's a masterwork, and you can only carry one of those at a time)
Also, there are yellow and red flowers around Orc Town called biteweed; they're an ingredient in an orcish healing potion, but you can also just eat them individually to help reduce poison faster.
Also, I think you didn't go over the noise meter. Once you get down into the mines, there's a noise meter in the lower right hand corner of your screen. If it starts flashing red, you've made too much noise and are in danger of attack by a horde. But! If you can get to your base (or make a camp hearth and bedroll where you are) and sleep, that will reset the noise meter to zero, and you'll no longer be in danger of attack. Once you clear the Orc Town from that level, the noise meter will disappear, and you'll only encounter the occasional patrol.
To prevent goblins/orcs from respawning at orc camps make sure to destroy the banners first. It's pretty easy to do with some dodging while being chased.
I just picked the game up on xbox and I am enjoying it. definitely a learning curve though as the game does not hold your hand at all. just a few days in though, so have not found any armor yet. having lots of fun though.
It might be worthwhile to showcase some of the mods made to run the game, once they've been ironed out and are decent in numbers. Good video Spanj. Where tf do I find some hide scrap so I can get an iron sword going? I know I can kill large animals - but it takes forever without a sword and i just die! I hate that kinda circular bs pls help
Hello, I hope the question is not too absurd, I think that you, as TH-camrs, should have more knowledge in this regard, or try to obtain more information through other sources so that you can post this information in your content, and the question is: when is it scheduled a new update for this game and are you aware of it? I know the most obvious answer would be "go check the game's website" I've already done that and there's nothing there about when the new update is scheduled, can you help with that, thank you.
Why can a TH-camr get more info online than you can yourself..? Such a dumb comment. Don’t be lazy and find answers yourself and don’t blame others for not automatically knowing your questions..

its like every survival game never played Valheim. IMO, Valheim has one of the best base building ever.

Same. Fix those statues you see fixing two gives you new weapons or armor. I got body and gloves so far.

You can kill the animals like wolves or those boars easily with a simple axe you can craft from the very start
They should add a Balrog as a boss
Tbh this isn’t a base building game. So I don’t mind the lack of base building. Not in my base very long anyways.
