Designer Brian Gluckstein puts his own bright, elegant twist on this stunning 7,700+ square foot showhome. Incorporating dramatic wood panelling and textured wallpaper into the grand family room creates visual appeal while the two-storey design creates unobstructed sightlines and opens up the space. The calming palette of soft blues and neutrals shared in the main floor’s living room and spacious kitchen makes everyone feel welcome.
The upper level features gorgeous, vaulted ceiling in the principal bedroom, the spectacular, curved and textured wall in the principal bathroom, and the multifunctional bedrooms for the little ones. All the bedrooms are the perfect idyllic retreat for adults and kids alike. Other notable areas include a luxurious dressing room and a beautifully tiled bathroom.

Brian is an artist. That home is amazing very sophisticated but not stuffy, light an airy but not boring. My favorite room was the family room. Just love it. Great job to Brian and his crew.
He should give other young designers a chance. Maybe some new ideas? GIve it up Brian! Jeesh.
@@GalaxeeCat I'm sure there were other designers who submitted there ideas for this project. Does Brian play it safe, yes but he delivers a style that is very functional and tasteful at the same time. That's his track record. They love his work.

This home is absolutely stunning. There isn’t one thing I would change. The attention to detail and forethought he put into it is true artistry. Warm and elegant but livable.
Just the right amount of detail and colour. Classic with just enough current styling to feel fresh. Brian is a master in refinement. This is one of those houses that will always feel good.

This home is beautiful. I noticed that the cabinets next to the range are wrapped in the countertop material which I’ve never seen. That is genius! This was so well thought out and looks so easy to live in.

I absolutely love this home. Stylish, sophisticated yet warm and comfortable. The only things I'd change is the range hob for entirely induction. While a solid hotplate & sous vide are nice they're not features I'd use regularly. Also, where's the ironing board in the laundry room? Where would anyone do their ironing with that huge table in the middle? I doubt this designer does his own laundry
There are actually 2 ironing boards (1 large 1 small) in the corner next to the shelving unit.😊

I don't like a lot of his projects but this one is good
The trick is to use no color.... or very minimal color. The cleanest, most harmonious designs are always devoid of color. They look high-end and timeless. Cremes, beiges, soft grey, dark grey, white, black. No color. Soft blue draperies? In this case, it's almost a grey. Choose a temperature: warm or cool. Not both! Pair a neutral scheme with natural textures: wood (any kind - light or dark), stone, concrete, marble, and metal. Textures add interest while keeping color to a minimum. Then add accents. Here is where you can interject color: ceramics, artwork, pillows, painted furniture, fabrics, etc. But keep it to a bare minimum. Do not allow color to overwhelm the space. That's what they did here. It's easy, if you stick to those guidelines.
