    If you are going to solder you should really use stay bright 8 silver solder it came hold up to high pressure , I wouldn't feel safe using any solder with 410 because the high side can get above 300 psi. It's called 8 because it has 8 percent silver in it.

    I’m a graduating AC student. Loved the video. I did not know you could solder An AC unit. We learned how to braze. Will it hold with R-410A pressure?

      Soldering the pipes wasn't good idea because it can't hold the pressure of R410 gas, just use brazing.

    Should add a TXV or perhaps experiment with an electronic control using EEV. But very cool.

    Seems like you used lead solder made for plumbing, 410A can get up to 450 psi.. and should be solder with sil-fos or 95% silver rod, and you vaccum the system but when connecting your hose you had atmospheric pressure inside them so you vacuumed it in before filling the hose with gas.

    so the fan is blowing air backwards?

      Both fans blowing the air toward outside the unit.
