In game 1, I you think you normal summoned ash @1:35 and then tribute summon Kash Unicorn @3:10 in the same turn. Don't know if it mattered 🤔

Maybe he activated Snake Eye Ash sending Fenrir. It resolved negated and then since he doesn't control a monster, he special summoned Unicorn.

You are correct. I turned the volume all the way up and could hear the declaration of "activate ash effect."" Didn't even think about that as an option.
