@@BrookcarioBecause it's part of her story. Her hair is shorter because she was younger when she met Pearl, and possibly because her tentacles were being used to create new octarians. (octarians like octotroopers are created when a host's tentacle is cut off. marina is a high-class octarian which means that the octarians created from her tentacles are very smart.*

She doesn't. She has teeth to resemble the beak of an octopus!

@@sapphiresplasho octolings have two sharp teeth placed” randomly”(one far left one far right) in their mouth and inklings have both in the same place, like marina does in this video (notice the teeth in the same spot at 0:07 ). Pearl also has those teeth, which makes sense because she’s and inkling.
