My roommate and I played this particular game and it was the same map layout that you guys got, but the mob moved in the opposite direction for us than it did for you all. It was great fun watching you play this game.

My theory is that Deep Ones are Murgles that live on the wrong side of the tracks. They're out there ripping up coral, hanging out with Nagas and just generally being true monsters
Speaking of ties in commander, i was once in a 9 person game, that ended in a draw. It was done kinda deliberately because one guy just wanted to end the huge pod, so he generated infinite mana and cast exsanguinate, killing everyone at once, but i had tainted remedy in play which killed him at the same time.
It's been a long time since i did any magic judging, but he would have won. It wouldn't have been a draw. There's a full stop in exsanguinate, and it's sorcery speed so he would have been able to chose how triggers stacked. Everyone loses x life full stop, this occurs first. Then he gains life (trigger for your card which loses life instead). I am assuming from your wording by the time this occured everyone else would have been dead. EDIT: Also, because it's his turn he gets to chose which effects resolve first for simultanious effects/triggers.
HP Lovecraft, the man who named his cat the N-word and who based most of his work off of his xenophobia. But he certainly made some interesting monsters
its extremely hard. how do you beat it? the game will just randomly give 3 horror or damage to all players at beginning of mythos phase with no negating rolls. if playing honestly, you are wounded or insane after just a few turns. not to mention getting caught up in a Riot with 84 health, darkness in alleys and library, and then the set things on fire.
@@CS-ui4qj Investigators like Rita Young and Ashcan Pete are very helpful for this mission. It is better when you have a full team and can get it done faster. It also helps that after playing a few times, it is easier to remember what you need to do and when. It does require some luck, though.
I realise that you did the whole mission with it wrong but the first setup had you get a shovel and the second time you got a holy water instead of the shovel

When I watched this episode I was yelling no what are you doing at the choices being made. This scenario is tough as nails.

I love this game. The original Mansions of Madness is what got me into minature painting. Better luck next time on those rolls :D
