Apparently, this knife is being discontinued for 2021. Kind of sad, as this is a really functional, attractive, hard use folder... one for the apocalypse ;)
I like my turret with black serrated and green handle. Love the knife and it has seen some time in a foriegn sand box and is still in my flight gear to this very day.
Everything you said about the presidio is so true I have the one with aluminum handles . Needs a good re sharpen going to send it back to benchmade for a factory re sharpen.
That’s disappointing to hear about the Presidio 2, I EDC the smaller version and it is a favorite of mine. I’ll have to pick another one up before they disappear.
I was looking at this knife and ended up with an 808 Loco, it's just better imo and when I heard it was discontinued I had to pull the trigger! I still like the turret tho! Nice vid👍
Looks like a nice knife. I'm surprised you didn't compare it to the Contego. I just weighed mine and it comes in at 5.75oz - almost the same as your 980 Turret. :)
I just ordered this knife its a beauty . What and how can I get that blade edge look so good. Do you charge a fee if I send that knife to you. I have watched many videos of you. You are the knife god. Let me know friend. you are a master of sharping knifes.
@jeff S for sure. Maybe it's just me but I won't mind paying $230 for one of those steels, most of my knives are in that price point. I just have a hard time paying that much for s30v. Just my opinion tho

Still concerned with Benchmade's second amendment position. Also noticed that the blade has grind marks on the flats. I think for the money a ZT 350 gets you a better knife in similar form.

Good looking knife, would like a higher grade steel (3v, m390, 20cv) for $188. Good review 👍
