- I enjoy creating 5”, 4-3/4”, 7-1/4”, 7-1/2” gauge live steam equipment. I don’t build my models to exact spec, but rather fancy the construction of replicating narrow gauge locomotives, wagons and track to my own pattern and or design. Some of my favorite Railroads and Company’s include LGB, Denver & Rio Grand, Thomas And Friends, Disneyland Railroad, Pinecrest/Strawberry Dam Construction Railroad, Welshpool Railway, Sugar Pine Logging & Pickering Lumber Company. I also enjoy filming and photographing other peoples amazing work!!
Come enjoy the Channel with me!!

Totally practical in every respect. 👍
😃🚂💯👍🏼 Right!! My fat butt is happy indeed..!!
🚂Great interesting topic. I also fitted two of my tender locomotives (LGB Porter and Bachmann) with an additional tender. I am very happy with the result, which also exists in reality. Best regards from Thomas the Western Railwayman🚂
@@drycreek-cactusvalley That’s awesome! Thanks for sharing this. I love hearing about other progress on their Railroad, and what they choose do as far as Locomotive improvements, etc!
@@TRAINBUILDER 🚂thank you for the prompt answer, I'm glad to hear that from you! By the way, we have another thing in common ; TB are my initials 😉🚂
Ride, comfort and style! Love it!

@@Crystal_Springs_Railroad Exactly my Brother!! 💯🚂
Train 🚂 Railway 🚃 😊
Love it! More leg room, too! Butter Pig rules!
Thanks Stan!!
3:19 I loved this part because theres always something special about a steam engine riding tender first! And thanks for finally explaining it because i was so very confused
Thanks! It’s just been a fascination as far as locomotive proportions and or ‘looks’ that’s very important to me personally. Glad you enjoyed!
I'm here from Facebook
@@HoveyFarms Welcome my friend! I hope you enjoy some of the homemade content, lol 😊🚂
The Ffestiniog Railway in Wales has a similar Tank-Tender Engine locomotive known as the England Class
I think the fellas over Sea do it the best as far as Tank Engines with Tenders! Lots of good equipment out there! Are you in U.K, or?
@TRAINBUILDER US foamer but for the UK
@ Nice! Same here
In the beginning of your video, you have a picture of TVRR #1 Fairbanks Alaska. We (The friends of The Tanna valley Railroad) rebuilt her, and she now runs around Pioneer Park in Fairbanks. In rebuild her we con verted her to burn coal and gave her a tender.
@@andrewdebaun Yes!! You guys have done a terrific job in restoring her and bringing her back to life. Great work! 🚂
a Mystery of Railkind solved by u
😂😂 That’s a big compliment I don’t think I can take on.. lol! The fascination and or ‘look’ is very important to me, and this has been one of those taboo things I just wanted to touchup on.
i mean where does a tank engine without a tender store fuel?
Great question! Lots of Tank engines store water in the Saddle or Side Tanks and have a little coal or oil bunker in the back of the Cabs. I’ve even seen some side tank locos where one side is oil and the other water. Little Porters would actually just keep a stack of wood in the Cabs for very short line jobs.
Perfect solution for wood burners, given their fuel energy density
@@paveloleynikov4715 💯💯👍🏼👍🏼🚂🚂
I'm thinking of doin something like that for my romulus, but just for coal. Make it look a little like the tiny davenports from the Byron rr.
@@west_side_9 That would fantastic! I saw someone make one for their 3” Scale Bagnal that caught my eye. 🚂👍🏼
