I’ve been loving that Revlon foundation. The finish is beautiful. Not very dewy, but not flat matte. Very natural. It wears well on me too.

I feel like I see everyone using a puff after you started using yours. I love my beauty blender puff....I know that the more affordable ones work just as well but I've had my bb one for ages and it's still in great shape. Definitely worth the $15!!

Great brushes make such a difference. I have an awesome brush I got from PUR in a set. It's a bigger concave pointed eye brush that is so soft. Somehow it's so versatile!! I can use it under the eye and in the inner corner thanks to the pointed end, it's perfect for the crease as well.. The tip packs pigment but the bristles are so soft but dense it blends anything like a dream, it's great for the lid too. The dense bristles pick up anything from dense, to soft to really flaky shades and smooth it onto the lid making shimmers pop! It's amazing

Em, I found myself in a huge rush yesterday and did this (with different, forgotten products). Here’s what I used:
Dr Jart cicapair tiger grass corrector (no foundation, used as my moisturizer/primer/base coverage)
Maybelline instant age rewind concealer
Milk makeup bronzer stick in baked (used on eyes too)
Nudestix blush in bareback
Lawless soft set brow gel
L’Oréal lash paradise mascara
Cover girl clean fresh pressed powder
Honestly the look came together super quickly and I only used the elf powder blurring brush and my cheap puff from Amazon. I was surprised at how fast it was and how pretty and fresh I felt!

My husband and i are celebrating our 25th (silver) anniversary this year and even though we may argue, we are so very much like a newlywed couple and get giddy being with each other. We are fortunate to be able to travel frequently. I collect the hotel soaps and they work well for cleaning my makeup brushes, sponges and puffs. Any bar soap will work.

I sometimes just love using my fingers to apply my eyeshadow, granted i only use like 2 or 3 shades max. Especially with shimmers i think its handy 👍🏻
I have 2 of those and Elf brushes. I love them so much. I also have the Double ended complexion brush from IT & I loved it until I tried the Elf and now I don’t even use it. The Elf works so much better imo.
I’ve bought so many high end brushes looking for my holy grail only to discover it was the E.L.F dual ended brush the whole time 🤣 Amazing brush indeed

Have you tried the Tarte Quickie Double-Ended Concealer Brush? I think it could fit in this multi purpose brush category. I love the elf duo brush for blending cream bronzer and blush.

I love how the look turned out. I have the It Cosmetics version of the double ended brush and use it all the time. Such a great brush. On another note, have you tried anything from About-Face? I would love to see your thoughts, especially now that the brand is in Ulta!

Great video idea Emily! Quick question: how do the Persona double ended eye brushes compare to the Profusion eye brushes?
Profusion's are GREAT quality. I love all of the ones I've tried - the blending/crease brush side on persona's is a little fuller, and I am really enjoying the way it sort of fills out my eye space between crease and brow. One issue I have with Profusion is accessibility.... I wish they'd sell ALL brushes individually in Walmart - but you can find them on their website :)
I have the Profusion brushes. I bought them from eBay and Amazon. I was curious if the Persona double ended ones do the same work because it would be convenient to have less brushes when traveling.
Hi Emily! Since you use the elf double ended brush for all face steps, do you find you have to wash it everyday? Like does the leftover contour mess up your foundation & concealer steps the next day? THANK YOU ❤❤
I pretty much wash that one weekly - most of the time I don't multitask quite this much with it (wanted to show the full extent of its capabilities here) - but I'll mostly just use it for foundation & concealer. I don't really notice any sort of buildup when washing weekly!

How does the revlon foundation compare to the L’Oréal tinted serum? And how does the lawless lip compare to the tarte? You said it was really soft and made me wonder. Love this look. Going to get some of that powder. I’m loving the little puffs!
