I agree whole heartedly! For example, I don’t personally do my eye makeup in the same way Emily does (I’m more a very basic one color with a little shine on top gal) but I still LOVE her channel and watching every video to get ideas and to keep up with what’s new or rediscovered or just awesome😊 and I LOVE me some blush for sure❤

I love that this is a blush-heavy channel so much! Back in the late 90's early 2000's blush was not really a thing. I cringe at photos from back then where I can tell I probably wasn't wearing any. Now that I know better I am making up for lost time and blush is always in the makeup look because it makes you feel alive and happy. Makeup is magic.
Same here! I only wore max factor panstick, Revlon wine with everything lipstick and once in a while some smudgy black liner. No blush, mascara, or brow products. I don't know why the other products never crossed my mind.😂

My dil years ago made it clear that I was too old for dark lipstick,which was Mac Chili. Well guess what? I’m 20 odd years older and still LOVE dark lipstick! There is just no need for anyone to harp on anyone else’s make up. It’s so personal.

I love your blush-heavy channel! I tend to be heavier handed with my blush myself, especially if I'm feeling extra tired and pale. It always looks fine to me in the morning, but I'll sometimes catch myself thinking "wow Jen, you really bathed in blush today!" as the day goes on 😂

I am 100% with you! I love blush and love that you call out people who have “not so nice” things to say. If you don’t like something someone does with makeup, then don’t do it. Simple as that. Like that one influencer who puts 10 pumps of foundation…not my thing but if it makes her happy, she should have at it.
Love the idea of adding some lip liner to the nude lip. Really pulls the look together and then the gloss makes the lips pop! Love the whole look!😊😊

I put labels on the bottom of my painted rocks with a hashtag and then I hide them places for people to find! Then if they re-hide them, you can use the hashtag to track where they’ve been!

Just FYI… I’m here for the BLUSH🥰. I have a hard time understanding how anyone can leave an insult in your comment’s! You, my dear, are pure joy and kindness. You brighten my day every time I see you.☺️
If anything I prefer seeing people that aren't experts and/or are just regular folks showing whether makeup works on regular people. I get tips from experts, actual MUAs, and people that might as well be models, but when it comes down to it I like seeing how makeup works on textured skin, big pores and all. This channel seems in between the highest tier of experts and regular plebs just doing the best they can to apply expert advice. I mean that in the best way possible, more relatable than the Gigi Hadids, but not inexperienced or flawed like some really small channels.
Ha! I feel the same way about the cool seasons. Love them. It’s been interesting now that I moved down to the south.😳aka hot-all-the-time-ville. I get so excited when it get cool enough to break out warm boots, sweaters, my tailored overcoats. I’m just in my depth when it gets cold. Love it. I was disappointed because it’s been 70-80 degrees most of March. I mean I have been like, what the heck? Where did my winter go? Felt a bit cheated but now it’s been cold again and lots of rain. Yay!!! ☺️😁
I love my warm and cozy.. the fuzzy robes, the chili and cornbread, the fluffy warm cozy blankets, the hoodies and sweat pants, I’m right there with you Emily. I miss all of my Ohio Winters because I now live in Florida. Not a place for a winter lover.. lol

Girl same here!!! I have always loved blush and put it on exactly like you. I put blush on during the makeup process and then I always add more at the end maybe it’s just our generation because I am the same age as you but blush brings me joy too 😊😁
