I didn’t know where to post this so I picked your most recent video. YOUR BOOK IS AMAZING!!! I received my copy on January 10 and yesterday I painted the last picture. I went through the whole book. This book has given me so much confidence to be creative in my own way, as well as the skills to try. Thank you. I’m so glad you wrote this book; I love your TH-cam videos too! Inspired!!
This is a great video! Thank you for showing so many different techniques in one easy-to-watch video! My favorite is wet on wet, but your gradient is so beautiful, I'm going to practice that!
Thank you for showing us this ... Im learning how to use watercolor so I will use this in a lot of things but for sure making some Valentines day 💌 card from my hubby and bestie ❤ thank you again you have shown me so many techniques 😍 your amazing ❤❤
Blue is my favorite color ! I love your room and all of its blues and shapes and you perfectly centered in the middle of it wearing a pale tanzanite comfy jumper !! Great masking technique !!!!!
I know everyone has been talking about which technique they like the best....however, my favorite is the idea of leaving the side on the paper to make it conform to a standard gift type envelope. I really think this will elevate my very simple card game. I have no idea why I haven't thought of this application before! i completely got a tremendous deal once about a year ago. My local craft store had packs of 100 cards and envelopes times 2 for about $4 dollars together. I guess I was the first person to see them and of course I bought both of them.
Personally I love to do the spritzing and splattering techniques, but it was fun to watch you do all of them! Good ideas for creating watercolour textures!
Thank you for this excellent video! I’ve just tried the alcohol technique. It worked best with darker, cool colours for me, and I can see it being great for ocean backgrounds. I also wanted to tell you I LOVE your Channel, especially the cute animal series ❤
I love the bloom technique and the gradient. My birthday is 2-11 so hearts have always been the theme of my birthdays. I would be thrilled to receive a card like that!😂
Can you do a tutorial video on the gradient technique with more than 2 colors? For example, a sunset with gray, then blue, then purple, then pink, then yellow? I'm really struggling with those lines between colors. Thanks! I love all your tutorials and your upbeat attitude, it means so much that your videos are so friendly and approachable. ❤
In between the blue and pink would naturally be a purple. If you go from pink to yellow you’d naturally get an orange in there too. If you want a subtle change with all of those, you’ll need to have a lot of space for the gradient to be able to have those slow transitions.
@RebelUnicornCrafts Oh, I see! So, first blue at the top, pull it down, apply pink and blend up a bit to make that purple and pull it down, then add more pink and pull that down, and add yellow and blend up for orange, and then add more yellow and pull that down? I'll give it a try and tell you how it goes! Here I was trying to add the colors without mixing/blending... Perhaps that was the source of the "blocky" appearance.
@@RebelUnicornCrafts I practiced the technique with pink and two different blues, and using my mini ceramic palette with little round wells, I finally got the hang of it!!!! I watched your demonstration of it a couple times first, and kept practicing. I really appreciate how you go step by step and explain what you're doing - so helpful! Thanks so much!! 💗
The one you were doing with masking fluid it looked like you painted a sea horse..were you meaning to do that..I just sat down..lol..Thank-you for all the ideas how kool and awesome ❤🎉❤🎉❤🎉

Lovely techniques ❤. I love the spritzing and glue-hearts techniques best
I hope you try them out!
Personally I love to do the spritzing and splattering techniques, but it was fun to watch you do all of them! Good ideas for creating watercolour textures!
I love how spritzing and splattering can really add some color without being able to fully control what happens.
Thank you for sharing! My favorite is the gradient technique. Of course, the hardest of them all for a beginner (me)!
It definitely takes some practice! I hope my tips help- you’ve got this!

It's a great technique to play with! I hope you get to use it soon.
