Thanks! I'm admittedly still uncertain of what to make of reality shifting, but I respect you and the shifting community in general. I'm sad that certain people are leaving hateful comments. Expressing doubts and skepticism is okay, but hating on others is never okay. I do have a couple questions if you don't mind: What do you think about the possibility of bringing new knowledge back into this current reality (CR) from your desired reality (DR)? Let's say for example that you shift into a DR that is a more futuristic version of Earth. You learn about the new inventions and discoveries that exist in that future time and bring that knowledge back into this CR. Then you can introduce those discoveries to the world and maybe make some money by obtaining patents. Perhaps someone with the background in medicine necessary to understand the technical details could even memorize the instructions to make a cure for cancer or some other terrible disease in a DR where it has already been discovered and then come back to this CR and follow those instructions to manufacture that cure here. That would be one of the best possible applications of shifting because it would help many millions of people. Just maybe one of your shifting videos will inspire someone with the necessary scientific/medical background to attempt this for the good of humanity! Anyways, if you can bring back any kind of knowledge that you couldn't have reasonably learned in this CR, that would go a long way towards proving the reality of shifting. Since the only thing you can bring back via shifting is knowledge, it seems this is the only possible way to convince skeptics. Perhaps someone who enjoys learning languages could shift to a DR where an ancient language like Etruscan (Italy) or Linear A (Crete) is still spoken and then come back to this CR and tell the world what the still undeciphered inscriptions in these ancient and long dead languages say. It would be hard to deny that a teen or young adult with no prior experience in linguistics who suddenly can speak a long forgotten language that not even professional linguistics are able to read must have shifted somewhere! Other shifters have said that you can spend much longer in your DR compared to the amount of time that passes in your CR. It would follow that you could potentially spend a year in your DR studying at a university or learning a new language and then bring that knowledge back to your CR and find that only a day has passed here. Of course, any university degree you might earn in your DR wouldn't be recognized here, but if you just want the knowledge (e.g. a business degree to help you start your own successful business) and don't need the professional credentials, then that would be a quick and cheap way to get an education! Is something like this possible in your opinion?
Can I just start out by saying that I absolutely love this comment? I'm SO passionate about helping people and I think that would be wonderful if someone were to do all this. The only issue is retaining hours to months of information and suddenly shifting back to your CR. What would happen with that information that you learned in your DR? There's a high chance you'd forget because of the different in time. Think of it like transferring files on a computer. That can take minutes to hours on end, so in the context of a human brain, it'd certainly be a tough feat! Not to say that this is impossible, because it's not. But it really depends on how much a person can retain information for an extended period of time. You'd really have to scramble to recall all of that in your CR! Not only that, but if you shift to a future that exists somewhere else, it would be different from here because it's a different reality, which means what works there isn't guaranteed to work here. But that's just how I see things. Obviously, I've never tried shifting to a reality where a future of Earth exists. That's mostly because I wouldn't be sure where to shift, or what to expect since I wouldn't know where to go! Not only that, but the future is ever changing, and if you know a thing or two about divination, then you'll understand that if you see a prediction, it's merely a guideline. Nothing is ever set in stone, so there would be a lot of ifs for a doctor shifting to a reality where cancer is cured. But I've never tried it, and I'm no doctor, so this is only what I think! If anyone actually does shift and discover the cure to cancer, then I'd gladly like to hear their story! As for information retained from DRs, there's the obvious portion about how people shift and still remember what happened, but not everything entirely since some people stay there for a while. Even then, they still remember a LO about what happened. In my experience, when I shift, it gets hazy with the more time that passes, exactly like memories do. When I come back, it's clear as crystal, but as time goes on, you start forgetting who said what and what looked like what. SIDE NOTE: Shifting, and experiences depend on the person, so what I've said is only from what I can assume/what I've gathered from hearing/reading about others' experiences and my own.

According to the many worlds theory, there are many possible futures, but every one is equally "real" despite the fact we will only consciously experience one of these versions of the future. It should still be possible though to shift into a possible future timeline and bring back useful information. A channel I'm subbed to called "Astral Club" shares various experiences using astral projection to explore different possible future timelines, including a future medical center about a century from now. He wasn't able to maintain his astral projection long enough to bring back useful medical information, but perhaps a shifter could do this. I realize that astral projection and shifting are different, but if astral projection to a possible future version of Earth is possible, then shifting there could be possible too. I realize that if one shifts to a very different kind of reality such as Hogwarts where magic is possible, then the underlying laws of nature must be very different and what works there isn't guaranteed to work here. But if one can shift to a parallel version of Earth in a different timeline, then the laws of nature should work the same way. Humanity may have made different choices and gone done a different path in its civilization and development, but as long as chemistry and physics work the same way, then a cure for cancer that has been discovered in that DR should work in this CR too. I suppose we won't know for sure until someone gives this a try, and I hope that someone does. Thank you again for your kind and thoughtful words.

I believe that shifting is a personal experience where you don’t really know it’s real until you’ve experienced it for yourself. That’s why I think it’s hard for people to believe, there’s no way for shifters to actually prove they have shifted besides their word

I just don’t understand why people in the comment section of the video are acting like us shifters belong in a psych ward and that we are harming ourselves by believing in reality shifting? Like i totally understand why someone wouldn’t believe in it and think it’s outworldy but like there is no need to belittle shifters. Some people in the comment section mentioned how the video made them interested in the concept of shifting and everyone replied to them like “don’t, you’re harming yourself” “its not healthy” “I’m worried for you.” Like why are they bothered so much by what others chose to do in their spare time? It's because overall it could be very damaging, I mean honestly believing that you can shift realities, I will say hypothetically it's not impossible, but to be able to do it by just believing, really? I watched his video and it hurt so much. This is why there's gate-keeping in the shifting community. I am kind of mad at James because even though he says that it's mostly children who are shifting, and he's still extremely rude. I've been trying to shift to escape from my current life, for example I am transgender. In my scripts I write I have a flat chest. So many people use shifting as escapism. Also, I have a lot of dissociation and shifting is not dissociating, you can experience dissociation because of shifting but shifting itself is not dissociation. Shifting is a form of escapism, it helps people with so much stuff, example: ab*se, dysphoria, depression, s**cidal thoughts, and so much more. If you don't believe it's real, please don't start hating on shifters because they believe in reality shifting.

Hey, just a small note to people who aren't in this community that insulting people and questioning their sanity isn't really the way to go. I, personally, am sceptical myself - it sounds fascinating and I can sort of see the logic behind it, but there's no real definite proof yet outside of philosophy. If you absolutely do not believe in it, however, be careful of what you say. I've seen TH-camrs and people being called insane and even getting death threats on it, and whether or not you believe in shifting, I think we can all agree that that isn't a good thing. James is a genuinely nice person, and I do not believe he intended to bash on the community so much, nor for members to get so much hate. A lot of people use shifting as a way to cope with their mental problems. Insulting someone is not going to change their mindset, and can in fact convince them even more. Or, alternatively, drive them to methods that are definitely not healthy. If you are hating on the community, you are only giving yourself, James, and James' fans a bad rep. The same goes to the community itself. If you do see a comment intended to hate on the community, just take a deep breath, dislike, and move on. If you get defensive and start arguing, you are only showing the bad side of the community, which is probably the reason why James decided to compare the community to racists and Flat-Earthers in the first place. Getting angry and insulting people, calling them delusional or non-believers, is not going to help them or change their minds, and it is not going to help you or change your mind. If you truly disagree, control your emotions. Think of what you want to say, recognise the reasoning behind their points, and then *calmly* and *respectfully* make your points. All arguments are the result of hurt pride, and I think we should be more aware of that.

Alright so shifter here. I have been practicing meditating and lucid dreaming through it for almost four years now, and I can tell you, that lucid dreaming is a whole different story. When I first shifted, I immediately did the technique where you pinch yourself and ,,realize” that you are in a dream, which I do automatically in my dreams. The thing is, if I do this in a dream, I have lucid dreaming and I am aware of it. But that time I couldn’t change anything. It was a world on it’s own, and I was just a part of it. You just know if it’s a dream or not. Meeting the people (yes, I shifted to Harry Potter lmao dont judge me) was so real it could not have been a dream. In a dream, there is always something off that your brain can’t make up. But nope, that did not happen. Our schedule was set up, I could explore hogwarts not knowing that that exact room was there because it wasn’t in a book or a movie, yet everyone else just knew it. There were teachers that werent even mentioned in the book, so real that my brain would never be able to make that up. Just believe in shifting if you want to. Dont listen to others

Since you also talked about proper research, and I have done a bit a while back when I first found out about reality shifting: I still want to be as informed as possible, so would you mind sharing some information/ sources of research you used or would recommend?
To be completely honest, all the information I have looked into involves a LOT of speculation. You really have to go deep into quantum physics and science theories such as Schrodingers Cat and Butterfly Effect. Along with the Gareway Project some Quantum Physics stuff, and a lot more. I don't have any specific resources, as you just have to search titles of similar theories/topics to see for yourself while pieces it all together. There's LOT of speculation, and for that reason, I'm not too qualified to state any specific sources. Regardless, I hope you can find information from the topics I listed! Beware, science articles are information heavy.

This is a video I really hope James sees as you brought up a lot of really valid and civil points. This is the exact reason why I look up to you and constantly watch and support your content.( Even if it's something small like leaving a like ). I'm really curious to know what James has to say in response to all our response videos. Like, is he going to apologize, or try to educate himself better before making a video, or maybe he'll take the video down in general? I just want to understand what led to his comments which offended a lot of us. We shouldn't be angry or be aggressive towards him, I feel like that would really misrepresent our community. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, we don't have to agree with james's opinion, and he doesn't have to agree with ours. I think they way he expressed HIS opinion on shifting, was offensive, and could have been done in a much better way. If he does make a response video to our communities response to his video, Perhaps he'd express his opinions in a more civil manner. It's not exactly fair to call someone else's opinion wrong. as a person who experiences dissociation often in my cr, i do think it can be part of reality shifting, but just the idea that you're detatching from your cr to transfer to your dr. dissociation isn't shifting, but it is something that can help with shifting. i doubt everybody dissociates when shifting, and dissociation is not often a positive experience, especially outside of reality shifting. it just can be related in that it's an experience that makes you feel detatched from your current reality.
You don't say to someone who believes in Greek mythology "oh no your wrong but go ahead." Or say that to someone who believes in anything that isn't harming people. Shifting has never harmed me, in fact I am more determined to take care of my life and make sure I take care of my mind and body to shift. It gives me something to care about. So no. Something you don't understand does not mean you have to say we are going to go insane over it or it's not healthy. Yes it's bad to obsess over shift and I know that. And I try not to. And I tell my friends who are also trying to shift not to. I can go on and on

yeah! obsessing over your desired reality is one of the reasons that is LIMITING you from getting there in the first place. it’s important to not put your desired reality on a pedestal, because THAT could actually cause harm/undesired results.
I know it's 2 years ago. But here's a thing. Real or not. Reality shifting is just avoiding and escaping from your current reality. Which is not healthy, and that was a point of that video. He said you need to make your current reality to your own desired reality. I also think that even if this reality shifting thing is total legit and real and possible, it's just escaping your current reality's problem. It's quite self damaging, in my opinion. :D
imo, his video was so damaging in a way. he worded it horribly and it was obvious that he got all his information solely off of tiktok. he didn’t mention anything about how it’s related to paganism, the gateway process, etc. yes, he can have an opinion, but his opinion was based on misinformation and negatively charged. and because of how damaging the video actually was, some people who wanted to learn about quantum physics or reality shifting in general now want to quit because of his video.
A very good point! I do agree that his video was a bit rude, but I've noticed that a lot of TH-camrs are like that because strong opinions add to entertainment value (and no, I am not saying everyone like like that, it's simply something I've noticed, whether it's been done unconsciously or not). The issue is that having strong opinions (without regard to respect for others) has become a part of social media culture. It's quite disappointing, really, because like you said, some people felt discouraged after watching his video.

The thing that bothers me most is all this controversy and drama could easily have been avoided. I love James's channel but I'm disappointed not only that he rudely bashed on the shifting community without doing any research, but also that he even made the video in the first place. Just hopping on the topic trend for extra views, just like Anthony Padilla did. I wish the mainstream/popular content creators would just leave us alone, we're not hurting anyone... If you don't believe in shifting, why bother talking about it as if you're so interested in it??

Being honest, I don’t believe in shifting. I think the idea is stupid and silly and did agree with James on a lot of things, but I decided to look elsewhere to at least understand what reality shifting is from people that actually do it. That led me to this video, Anthony Padillia’s video, and far away from TikTok because that’s a can of worms I am never opening again. I understand what y’all believe in, while I still don’t get it, I don’t shame the community. Looking at James’s video, I understand it was very misinformed. But I see a lot of people trying to use this as an attempt to cancel him. I’ve seen people pull out comics he made years ago, like in high school, and used those to say that he’s racist. I feel like no one should go after anyone just for having different belief. I feel like both sides are in the wrong here
I did not make this video to shame anyone, and I did not mean to come off as a person who was cancelling. My point of the video was that shifting is a tool, and that even if you don't believe in shifting, it's alright. I agree with the point you made about how people are in the wrong for pulling out old comics and writing him out as a racist and someone who meant to bring people down on purpose. I feel like his video was just there for a high amount of entertainment value, so that's why I didn't take it seriously. I love James's videos, and don't mean in any way to come off as someone who is trying to cancel or demonise him (as I've seen SO many people in the shifting community do). I personally believe that people that have already shifted are motivating baby shifters (such as myself) not to give up, not to lose hope, ext.. So a lot of people who don't believe in shifting see those videos and think that they are trying to convince others that shifting is real and its not lucid dreaming and kind of forcing it on them. Honestly, if you don't agree with something you see or hear and its not affecting anyone mentally or physically, just don't get involved in it.
Just some genuine questions for the community: Is the law of conversation of matter and energy nonexistent in some realities, such as the so called “Hogwarts” reality? I ask this becausethe only way that spells such as “Wingardium Leviosa” would is if matter could be destroyed or transported at a speed greater than light, both of which are impossible. How does the warped passage of time work when reality shifting? The idea of a multiverse only works if time is constant among the alternate realities, and because of this, it would be very difficult to justify spending a year in one reality only to come back to this one day later. If reality shifting were truly possible, shouldn’t our bodies be being shifted into at every moment in time? The very idea of the multiverse is based on the idea of infinity, and so there are must be at every moment in time some version of me which is trying to warp into my body. If not, then the multiverse would not be infinite, and therefore would not exist. I do believe in the multiverse theory, however, it is quite difficult to believe the idea of reality shifting - an idea so scientifically baseless that it breaks most of the laws of physics and chemistry that our existence depends on.
1. My theory about how the Law of Conversation of Matter is that spells, in places such as Hogwarts/Harry Potter, are drawn from energy. It's being transformed from one thing to another in order to create a spell because, yes, energy is neither created or destroyed. Despite that, it can be transformed from one thing to another--which would therefore create a spell. 2. This is not something I can fully answer because in the times I shifted, it was quite brief and didn't last longer than about half an hour before I came back here. About the "spending a year in one reality to come back to this one day later", I'm sure you might find an answer on an Amino (but if you do go there, please be respectful, as you have been doing now). 3. From my knowledge, clones are what take over when one shifts. I, personally, have not used one, so I can't speak from experience. If you do a bit more digging into clones, then I am sure you will find an answer (from reliable places such as Amino). 4. I understand that it is difficult to believe. I, personally, am no physicist, so this is all from what I'm recalling from my physics class, haha. Thank you so much for being genuine with your questions and respectful. I appreciate it greatly and am actually quite curious if anyone else has any answers to them/information. If you find any, please share, I'd love to hear, as I am open to learning more about how reality shifting can relate to shifting. I hope this at least makes some sort of sense! Theory: If there are infinite universes at least one will be almost exactly the same as something that is fictional in this current reality. Therefore I think reality shifting may be literally shifting your consciousness between realities, so you can shift into a reality (or universe) that is what you desire... Sorry for the long winded paragraph... I'd probably use reality shifting to pick myself up after having a bad day or just for a bit of fun. Shifting is a personal experience. One has a hard time believing it to be true unless they actually experience it. Jame’s video was funny.. kinda. I knew he didn’t mean to offend anyone, but he came off as fairly rude. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and he basically totaled that. Saying things like “I love listening to crazy people talk” in that video, did he just call reality shifters crazy? Or when he was like “that’s what I would of said.. in a different reality.” like that was completely unnecessary, because after that he continued to bash people about reality shifting. It’s okay to not think it’s true, or to kinda think it’s true. It’s an experience that you can’t really be 100% of unless you experience it yourself. I’ve shifted 3 times and sometimes I still have a bit of doubt. I don’t know why, lol. I understand James was trying to be funny, but that video has had many small creators lead to get a lot of hate. We are all entitled to our own opinions. (Unless they are hateful) Thnaks for reading. I think this video ended up being pretty useful. Thank you. As for my opinions, as long as it doesn't become an unhealthy coping mechanism, I don't see the problem with it. In all honesty, it just seems like glorified lucid dreaming, and if you guys have found a way to do that freely, well thats awesome.
I do not believe in anything regarding Reality Shifting...I believe that this is the only universe in the world...but as long as you aren't hurting anyone, anything, or yourself! Do what you want...But I severely disagree with the entire crux of Reality Shifting.
I personally, am completely find that people have their own views and opinions on shifting. However, to bash an entire community for this is kinda a jerk move. I have see alot of people who say they want to shift for different reasons. Some of which were relatable. But, relatable or not, and as someone who is not apart of the community, I dont think it's fair of somone to call out a community that's nothing but peaceful and kind to whoever's decides to come. I've seen a lot of people leave mean and abusive comments on videos like these, and honestly that's pretty unnecessary, I get the mockery (it's the internet, no matter how sensible or outlandish our beliefs are, they will be mocked), but maybe a lot of people genuinely feel attacked by this, and I want to push forward a reasonable objection to this reality shifting movement, without attacking or belittling anybody. I watched the debunking video you spoke about in your video, and left a comment on there basically giving a philosophical refutation of reality shifting, I won't copy-paste it exactly, though it does go into more detail, but I'll give a general TL;DR. Premise 1: There are a near infinite quantity of alternate realities which account for every possibility Premise 2: These realities can interact with one another (Otherwise reality shifting would be impossible, as reality shifting is ultimately interaction between multiple realities) Conclusion 1: A reality, or multiple realities, exist where there is a sufficiently powerful, and sufficiently malevolent being, who seeks to, and can, end the multiverse entirely Conclusion 2: Our existence is unfeasible, and has already been destroyed Counter-point: Yet we continue to exist, and other realities remain a hypothetical reality Conclusion 3: Either Premise 1 and/or Premise 2 is incorrect, and we do not have an infinite quantity of alternate realities which can interact with each other. The framing of that (premise premise conclusion) may not be a perfect way to frame deductive reasoning, but I think it gets the point across well enough (I could also have made a mistake so I'm happy to be corrected if that's the case) I'm unsure if reality shifters genuinely believe they are shifting across alternate realities, or if they've constructed some social myth to add some excitement and organisation to lucid dreaming, if it's the latter then you can essentially ignore everything I've said, but if it's the former then I think that's concerning. You'd be setting yourself up for disappointment, and the consequences of this organised belief system doesn't look pretty, as if you actually believe it's real, rather than just a dream to engage in as a hobby, you're far more likely to abuse this. To anyone who's watching this, be aware you are just lucid dreaming, and if that's all you're doing, it's not really a problem, just don't lie to yourself and don't buy into things which by definition, cannot be true. I will admit, at first and even now i am slightly obsessed, but thats mainly because it became so interesting i had to know everything about it and with my mental disorders i hyper fixated on it, now its like oh thats cool. I wanna do that some day, but if not still cool. This seems to be where TH-cam recommended has brought me today so- I’m not here to hate on the shifting community and I really hope it doesn’t come off that way at all, but I just don’t believe that it exists. Sure, you can believe what you want to believe, but there’s no proof that shifting is real. I really do enjoy learning about theories of other realities and pondering on what would lead someone to come up with an idea like that, but I just don’t think moving your mind to another reality-or the idea of other realities existing-is real. Think about it: if we could actually move our minds to other realities in our *sleep*, wouldn’t scientists already know about it? Well, they do know about it, but it’s not in the way that your mind is shifting to another reality... ...It’s just dreaming. Now as much as the idea of shifting realities is cool, there is no factual proof of a multiverse of realities, and all of the evidence points towards the fact that reality shifting is simply the same as dreaming. I just don’t see why it could be seen as anything other than that. Perhaps people would like to believe in such a fantastical and amazing thing so much that they think it’s real. I do think that going to interesting places in your dreams is cool, though, and if you want to do that, rock on! But make sure you remember where the line is between fantasy and reality, even if reality is sometimes awful. Hope you all have a nice week! Edit: It’s the next day and I realized I have more to say so I’m going to add onto what I have already written. If you don’t feel like reading this next part then that’s fine haha. In the video above, the belief of shifting is compared with the belief of religion to show that it’s wrong to hate on people for believing shifting, but if we go by that logic, we could compare *any* belief to religion. But you can probably already see that that is very problematic. If everyone used that excuse, they could say something such as, “You can’t hate me just because I think murdering people is okay,” because we all know that we would hopefully all call that person insane. I suppose you probably shouldn’t hate on someone for a belief that isn’t harming anyone or anything, though, and I’ve seen a lot of that from both sides in this comment section which makes me upset. I just don’t think that’s an appropriate comparison, especially when the idea of reality shifting was probably created by someone who was trying to mess with people. Another point I wanted to make is that it’s said in the video that TheOdd1sOut was spreading misinformation, but simply saying that reality shifting is real is spreading misinformation. I don’t really have anything else to say about that. I know that it sounds great for something like this to be real, but if people could shift to a world with more advanced technology, we’d have more advanced technology. If other realities were real, why do we have to be asleep to get to them? If reality shifting was real, why can only our mind travel to different realities? It is a *fact* that reality shifting is the same as dreaming, and no amount of “evidence” created by children on a social media app will ever be able to stop that from being a fact. There is currently no official evidence of reality shifting being real, but is a ton of evidence that reality shifting is the same as dreaming. But, hey, believe what you want. I’ll be over here making the most of the reality we live in. Small note: If somehow we ever discover other realities, I wonder if there’s a reality where there’s no other realities.

Ok so is this possible, Soooo I think I almost shifted... and it was in the afternoon and my mom tried to wake me up and she got me up except I don’t remember waking up at all... and I think I was almost shifting and I did write in my script that I would have a clone in my CR so do you think that was my clone that woke up or do I have amnesia
I have multiple times in my life been supposedly woken up falling back asleep then woken up having no memory of waking up the first time, but I have never tried to shift, so no you were most likely still in a hazelike state from just waking up.
I hope people do respect each other's preferences and beliefs but I think the would be pretty impossible. We human beings tend to believe things in the most logical ways that will provide our minds to settle in believing hard-fact evidence.

i used to watch James when i grew up as well and when i watched the video he made on reality shifting it was quite disappointing for me too, because i thought that he would be smarter, especially with his big platform, to do more information on shifting rather than spread misinformation .

That video honestly hurt me to watch. I used to really enjoy james' videos so I got excited to see his views on reality shifting. I prepared myself for him to say that he didn't believe in it but I wasn't prepared for him to pull out a bunch of misinformation and compare us to anti vaxers.
I have some questions? Not hating or anything, also i made this before watching the video. If shifting is real, does that mean there is a chance, that magic may exist here? And also, shifting means to go to another universe right? So does that mean you are travelling at speed faster than light? Cause the expansion of the universe is faster than light. Also, is it only your mind or your entire body going with you. If it is only mind, what happens to your body here? Is there some time dilation to make up for it? Also, what differentiates shifting and dreaming, is it the feeling of your body senses? Or like the realism, and like having a clear mind during it? Please help my doubts. I’m not a shifter, nor have I ever even touched tiktok. To me, however, it seems like they are lucid dreaming and because they are young they think its magic or something. I’m not sure but that’s my interpretation.
What confuses me is when you experience something first hand it's no longer a belief. It's proven to you. Yeah others might not believe you, but to you it's real and happened. Like if someone saw a ghost, and they are now like "I know what happened with my own two eyes, ghosts are real" you can still not believe them. But why refer to shifting as a belief if you have experienced it? Is it out of curiosity to others who consider it a belief or is it because I is just a belief and there is no experience behind it? I'm confused 😰
I only call it a belief in this video because I knew my audience would be a mix of shifters and non-shifters. You bring up a wonderful point that is very true! To us, it is an experience, and therfore real. To those who haven't had the experience we had, it's only seen as a belief. Hope this helps clarify!
When I had a heart attack and was dead for 3 seconds in the hospital. You know what i saw? A white room with another me. Was that true? NO and a psychologiyt later explained the fenomena to me and how brains work in certain situation. But I saw it first had? Yes..............Is it true? NO
Thanks! I'm admittedly still uncertain of what to make of reality shifting, but I respect you and the shifting community in general. I'm sad that certain people are leaving hateful comments. Expressing doubts and skepticism is okay, but hating on others is never okay. I do have a couple questions if you don't mind:
What do you think about the possibility of bringing new knowledge back into this current reality (CR) from your desired reality (DR)? Let's say for example that you shift into a DR that is a more futuristic version of Earth. You learn about the new inventions and discoveries that exist in that future time and bring that knowledge back into this CR. Then you can introduce those discoveries to the world and maybe make some money by obtaining patents. Perhaps someone with the background in medicine necessary to understand the technical details could even memorize the instructions to make a cure for cancer or some other terrible disease in a DR where it has already been discovered and then come back to this CR and follow those instructions to manufacture that cure here. That would be one of the best possible applications of shifting because it would help many millions of people. Just maybe one of your shifting videos will inspire someone with the necessary scientific/medical background to attempt this for the good of humanity!
Anyways, if you can bring back any kind of knowledge that you couldn't have reasonably learned in this CR, that would go a long way towards proving the reality of shifting. Since the only thing you can bring back via shifting is knowledge, it seems this is the only possible way to convince skeptics. Perhaps someone who enjoys learning languages could shift to a DR where an ancient language like Etruscan (Italy) or Linear A (Crete) is still spoken and then come back to this CR and tell the world what the still undeciphered inscriptions in these ancient and long dead languages say. It would be hard to deny that a teen or young adult with no prior experience in linguistics who suddenly can speak a long forgotten language that not even professional linguistics are able to read must have shifted somewhere!
Other shifters have said that you can spend much longer in your DR compared to the amount of time that passes in your CR. It would follow that you could potentially spend a year in your DR studying at a university or learning a new language and then bring that knowledge back to your CR and find that only a day has passed here. Of course, any university degree you might earn in your DR wouldn't be recognized here, but if you just want the knowledge (e.g. a business degree to help you start your own successful business) and don't need the professional credentials, then that would be a quick and cheap way to get an education! Is something like this possible in your opinion?
Can I just start out by saying that I absolutely love this comment? I'm SO passionate about helping people and I think that would be wonderful if someone were to do all this. The only issue is retaining hours to months of information and suddenly shifting back to your CR. What would happen with that information that you learned in your DR? There's a high chance you'd forget because of the different in time. Think of it like transferring files on a computer. That can take minutes to hours on end, so in the context of a human brain, it'd certainly be a tough feat!
Not to say that this is impossible, because it's not. But it really depends on how much a person can retain information for an extended period of time. You'd really have to scramble to recall all of that in your CR! Not only that, but if you shift to a future that exists somewhere else, it would be different from here because it's a different reality, which means what works there isn't guaranteed to work here.
But that's just how I see things. Obviously, I've never tried shifting to a reality where a future of Earth exists. That's mostly because I wouldn't be sure where to shift, or what to expect since I wouldn't know where to go! Not only that, but the future is ever changing, and if you know a thing or two about divination, then you'll understand that if you see a prediction, it's merely a guideline. Nothing is ever set in stone, so there would be a lot of ifs for a doctor shifting to a reality where cancer is cured. But I've never tried it, and I'm no doctor, so this is only what I think!
If anyone actually does shift and discover the cure to cancer, then I'd gladly like to hear their story! As for information retained from DRs, there's the obvious portion about how people shift and still remember what happened, but not everything entirely since some people stay there for a while. Even then, they still remember a LO about what happened.
In my experience, when I shift, it gets hazy with the more time that passes, exactly like memories do. When I come back, it's clear as crystal, but as time goes on, you start forgetting who said what and what looked like what.

I know what you mean about the future being ever changing. According to the many worlds theory, there are many possible futures, but every one is equally "real" despite the fact we will only consciously experience one of these versions of the future. It should still be possible though to shift into a possible future timeline and bring back useful information. A channel I'm subbed to called "Astral Club" shares various experiences using astral projection to explore different possible future timelines, including a future medical center about a century from now. He wasn't able to maintain his astral projection long enough to bring back useful medical information, but perhaps a shifter could do this. I realize that astral projection and shifting are different, but if astral projection to a possible future version of Earth is possible, then shifting there could be possible too.
I realize that if one shifts to a very different kind of reality such as Hogwarts where magic is possible, then the underlying laws of nature must be very different and what works there isn't guaranteed to work here. But if one can shift to a parallel version of Earth in a different timeline, then the laws of nature should work the same way. Humanity may have made different choices and gone done a different path in its civilization and development, but as long as chemistry and physics work the same way, then a cure for cancer that has been discovered in that DR should work in this CR too. I suppose we won't know for sure until someone gives this a try, and I hope that someone does. Thank you again for your kind and thoughtful words.

I just don’t understand why people in the comment section of the video are acting like us shifters belong in a psych ward and that we are harming ourselves by believing in reality shifting? Like i totally understand why someone wouldn’t believe in it and think it’s outworldy but like there is no need to belittle shifters. I watched his video and it hurt so much. This is why there's gate-keeping in the shifting community. I am kind of mad at James because even though he says that it's mostly children who are shifting, and he's still extremely rude. I've been trying to shift to escape from my current life, for example I am transgender. In my scripts I write I have a flat chest. So many people use shifting as escapism. Also, I have a lot of dissociation and shifting is not dissociating, you can experience dissociation because of shifting but shifting itself is not dissociation. Shifting is a form of escapism, it helps people with so much stuff, example: ab*se, dysphoria, depression, s**cidal thoughts, and so much more. If you don't believe it's real, please don't start hating on shifters because they believe in reality shifting.

Hey, just a small note to people who aren't in this community that insulting people and questioning their sanity isn't really the way to go. I, personally, am sceptical myself - it sounds fascinating and I can sort of see the logic behind it, but there's no real definite proof yet outside of philosophy. If you absolutely do not believe in it, however, be careful of what you say. I've seen TH-camrs and people being called insane and even getting death threats on it, and whether or not you believe in shifting, I think we can all agree that that isn't a good thing. James is a genuinely nice person, and I do not believe he intended to bash on the community so much, nor for members to get so much hate. A lot of people use shifting as a way to cope with their mental problems. Insulting someone is not going to change their mindset, and can in fact convince them even more. Or, alternatively, drive them to methods that are definitely not healthy. If you are hating on the community, you are only giving yourself, James, and James' fans a bad rep.
The same goes to the community itself. If you do see a comment intended to hate on the community, just take a deep breath, dislike, and move on. If you get defensive and start arguing, you are only showing the bad side of the community, which is probably the reason why James decided to compare the community to racists and Flat-Earthers in the first place. Getting angry and insulting people, calling them delusional or non-believers, is not going to help them or change their minds, and it is not going to help you or change your mind. If you truly disagree, control your emotions. Think of what you want to say, recognise the reasoning behind their points, and then *calmly* and *respectfully* make your points. All arguments are the result of hurt pride, and I think we should be more aware of that.

Alright so shifter here. I have been practicing meditating and lucid dreaming through it for almost four years now, and I can tell you, that lucid dreaming is a whole different story. When I first shifted, I immediately did the technique where you pinch yourself and ,,realize” that you are in a dream, which I do automatically in my dreams. The thing is, if I do this in a dream, I have lucid dreaming and I am aware of it. But that time I couldn’t change anything. It was a world on it’s own, and I was just a part of it. You just know if it’s a dream or not. Meeting the people (yes, I shifted to Harry Potter lmao dont judge me) was so real it could not have been a dream. In a dream, there is always something off that your brain can’t make up. But nope, that did not happen. Our schedule was set up, I could explore hogwarts not knowing that that exact room was there because it wasn’t in a book or a movie, yet everyone else just knew it. There were teachers that werent even mentioned in the book, so real that my brain would never be able to make that up. Just believe in shifting if you want to. Dont listen to others

It's good to see both sides of the coin, that way it strengthens your resolve, as well as challenges your beliefs. It brings us full-circle and helps us realize why we believe in something. To be completely honest, all the information I have looked into involves a LOT of speculation. You really have to go deep into quantum physics and science theories such as Schrodingers Cat and Butterfly Effect. Along with the Gareway Project some Quantum Physics stuff, and a lot more. I don't have any specific resources, as you just have to search titles of similar theories/topics to see for yourself while pieces it all together.
There's LOT of speculation, and for that reason, I'm not too qualified to state any specific sources. Regardless, I hope you can find information from the topics I listed! Beware, science articles are information heavy.

This is a video I really hope James sees as you brought up a lot of really valid and civil points. This is the exact reason why I look up to you and constantly watch and support your content.( Even if it's something small like leaving a like ). I'm really curious to know what James has to say in response to all our response videos. Like, is he going to apologize, or try to educate himself better before making a video, or maybe he'll take the video down in general? Everyone is entitled to their opinion, we don't have to agree with james's opinion, and he doesn't have to agree with ours. I think they way he expressed HIS opinion on shifting, was offensive, and could have been done in a much better way. If he does make a response video to our communities response to his video, Perhaps he'd express his opinions in a more civil manner. It's not exactly fair to call someone else's opinion wrong. If it's a belief of his, we should respect it just as he should respect ours.

as a person who experiences dissociation often in my cr, i do think it can be part of reality shifting, but just the idea that you're detatching from your cr to transfer to your dr. dissociation isn't shifting, but it is something that can help with shifting. i doubt everybody dissociates when shifting, and dissociation is not often a positive experience, especially outside of reality shifting. it just can be related in that it's an experience that makes you feel detatched from your current reality.

Shifting has never harmed me, in fact I am more determined to take care of my life and make sure I take care of my mind and body to shift. It gives me something to care about. So no. imo, his video was so damaging in a way. he worded it horribly and it was obvious that he got all his information solely off of tiktok. he didn’t mention anything about how it’s related to paganism, the gateway process, etc. yes, he can have an opinion, but his opinion was based on misinformation and negatively charged. and because of how damaging the video actually was, some people who wanted to learn about quantum physics or reality shifting in general now want to quit because of his video.
A very good point! I do agree that his video was a bit rude, but I've noticed that a lot of TH-camrs are like that because strong opinions add to entertainment value (and no, I am not saying everyone like like that, it's simply something I've noticed, whether it's been done unconsciously or not). The issue is that having strong opinions (without regard to respect for others) has become a part of social media culture. It's quite disappointing, really, because like you said, some people felt discouraged after watching his video.

Being honest, I don’t believe in shifting. I think the idea is stupid and silly and did agree with James on a lot of things, but I decided to look elsewhere to at least understand what reality shifting is from people that actually do it. That led me to this video, Anthony Padillia’s video, and far away from TikTok because that’s a can of worms I am never opening again. I understand what y’all believe in, while I still don’t get it, I don’t shame the community. Looking at James’s video, I understand it was very misinformed. But I see a lot of people trying to use this as an attempt to cancel him. I’ve seen people pull out comics he made years ago, like in high school, and used those to say that he’s racist. I feel like no one should go after anyone just for having different belief. I feel like both sides are in the wrong here
I did not make this video to shame anyone, and I did not mean to come off as a person who was cancelling. My point of the video was that shifting is a tool, and that even if you don't believe in shifting, it's alright. I agree with the point you made about how people are in the wrong for pulling out old comics and writing him out as a racist and someone who meant to bring people down on purpose. I feel like his video was just there for a high amount of entertainment value, so that's why I didn't take it seriously. Just some genuine questions for the community:
Is the law of conversation of matter and energy nonexistent in some realities, such as the so called “Hogwarts” reality? I ask this becausethe only way that spells such as “Wingardium Leviosa” would is if matter could be destroyed or transported at a speed greater than light, both of which are impossible.
How does the warped passage of time work when reality shifting? The idea of a multiverse only works if time is constant among the alternate realities, and because of this, it would be very difficult to justify spending a year in one reality only to come back to this one day later.
If reality shifting were truly possible, shouldn’t our bodies be being shifted into at every moment in time? The very idea of the multiverse is based on the idea of infinity, and so there are must be at every moment in time some version of me which is trying to warp into my body. If not, then the multiverse would not be infinite, and therefore would not exist.
I do believe in the multiverse theory, however, it is quite difficult to believe the idea of reality shifting - an idea so scientifically baseless that it breaks most of the laws of physics and chemistry that our existence depends on.
1. My theory about how the Law of Conversation of Matter is that spells, in places such as Hogwarts/Harry Potter, are drawn from energy. It's being transformed from one thing to another in order to create a spell because, yes, energy is neither created or destroyed. Despite that, it can be transformed from one thing to another--which would therefore create a spell.
2. This is not something I can fully answer because in the times I shifted, it was quite brief and didn't last longer than about half an hour before I came back here. About the "spending a year in one reality to come back to this one day later", I'm sure you might find an answer on an Amino (but if you do go there, please be respectful, as you have been doing now).
3. From my knowledge, clones are what take over when one shifts. I, personally, have not used one, so I can't speak from experience. If you do a bit more digging into clones, then I am sure you will find an answer (from reliable places such as Amino).
4. I understand that it is difficult to believe. I, personally, am no physicist, so this is all from what I'm recalling from my physics class, haha. Thank you so much for being genuine with your questions and respectful. I appreciate it greatly and am actually quite curious if anyone else has any answers to them/information. If you find any, please share, I'd love to hear, as I am open to learning more about how reality shifting can relate to shifting.

If there are infinite universes at least one will be almost exactly the same as something that is fictional in this current reality. Therefore I think reality shifting may be literally shifting your consciousness between realities, so you can shift into a reality (or universe) that is what you desire...

Shifting is a personal experience. One has a hard time believing it to be true unless they actually experience it. Jame’s video was funny.. kinda. Saying things like “I love listening to crazy people talk” in that video, did he just call reality shifters crazy? Or when he was like “that’s what I would of said.. in a different reality.” like that was completely unnecessary, because after that he continued to bash people about reality shifting. I've seen a lot of people leave mean and abusive comments on videos like these, and honestly that's pretty unnecessary, I get the mockery (it's the internet, no matter how sensible or outlandish our beliefs are, they will be mocked), but maybe a lot of people genuinely feel attacked by this, and I want to push forward a reasonable objection to this reality shifting movement, without attacking or belittling anybody.
I watched the debunking video you spoke about in your video, and left a comment on there basically giving a philosophical refutation of reality shifting, I won't copy-paste it exactly, though it does go into more detail, but I'll give a general TL;DR.
Premise 1: There are a near infinite quantity of alternate realities which account for every possibility
Premise 2: These realities can interact with one another (Otherwise reality shifting would be impossible, as reality shifting is ultimately interaction between multiple realities)
Conclusion 1: A reality, or multiple realities, exist where there is a sufficiently powerful, and sufficiently malevolent being, who seeks to, and can, end the multiverse entirely
Conclusion 2: Our existence is unfeasible, and has already been destroyed
Counter-point: Yet we continue to exist, and other realities remain a hypothetical reality
Conclusion 3: Either Premise 1 and/or Premise 2 is incorrect, and we do not have an infinite quantity of alternate realities which can interact with each other.
The framing of that (premise premise conclusion) may not be a perfect way to frame deductive reasoning, but I think it gets the point across well enough (I could also have made a mistake so I'm happy to be corrected if that's the case)
I'm unsure if reality shifters genuinely believe they are shifting across alternate realities, or if they've constructed some social myth to add some excitement and organisation to lucid dreaming, if it's the latter then you can essentially ignore everything I've said, but if it's the former then I think that's concerning. You'd be setting yourself up for disappointment, and the consequences of this organised belief system doesn't look pretty, as if you actually believe it's real, rather than just a dream to engage in as a hobby, you're far more likely to abuse this.
To anyone who's watching this, be aware you are just lucid dreaming, and if that's all you're doing, it's not really a problem, just don't lie to yourself and don't buy into things which by definition, cannot be true. Or maybe I'm just a nerd with too much free time on his hands (the most likely option)

I’m not here to hate on the shifting community and I really hope it doesn’t come off that way at all, but I just don’t believe that it exists.
Sure, you can believe what you want to believe, but there’s no proof that shifting is real.
I really do enjoy learning about theories of other realities and pondering on what would lead someone to come up with an idea like that, but I just don’t think moving your mind to another reality-or the idea of other realities existing-is real.
Think about it: if we could actually move our minds to other realities in our *sleep*, wouldn’t scientists already know about it?
Well, they do know about it, but it’s not in the way that your mind is shifting to another reality...
...It’s just dreaming.
Now as much as the idea of shifting realities is cool, there is no factual proof of a multiverse of realities, and all of the evidence points towards the fact that reality shifting is simply the same as dreaming.
I just don’t see why it could be seen as anything other than that. Perhaps people would like to believe in such a fantastical and amazing thing so much that they think it’s real.
I do think that going to interesting places in your dreams is cool, though, and if you want to do that, rock on! But make sure you remember where the line is between fantasy and reality, even if reality is sometimes awful.

In the video above, the belief of shifting is compared with the belief of religion to show that it’s wrong to hate on people for believing shifting, but if we go by that logic, we could compare *any* belief to religion.
But you can probably already see that that is very problematic. If everyone used that excuse, they could say something such as, “You can’t hate me just because I think murdering people is okay,” because we all know that we would hopefully all call that person insane.
I suppose you probably shouldn’t hate on someone for a belief that isn’t harming anyone or anything, though, and I’ve seen a lot of that from both sides in this comment section which makes me upset. I just don’t think that’s an appropriate comparison, especially when the idea of reality shifting was probably created by someone who was trying to mess with people.
Another point I wanted to make is that it’s said in the video that TheOdd1sOut was spreading misinformation, but simply saying that reality shifting is real is spreading misinformation. I don’t really have anything else to say about that.
I know that it sounds great for something like this to be real, but if people could shift to a world with more advanced technology, we’d have more advanced technology. If other realities were real, why do we have to be asleep to get to them? If reality shifting was real, why can only our mind travel to different realities?
It is a *fact* that reality shifting is the same as dreaming, and no amount of “evidence” created by children on a social media app will ever be able to stop that from being a fact.
There is currently no official evidence of reality shifting being real, but is a ton of evidence that reality shifting is the same as dreaming.
But, hey, believe what you want. I’ll be over here making the most of the reality we live in.
Small note: If somehow we ever discover other realities, I wonder if there’s a reality where there’s no other realities.

@@meooowww3672 Well let me give you some evidence to think over, so hypothetically if the multiverse is real then, a very similar theory much more creditable than reality shifting, is that time isn't happening it already has happened, essentially meaning we have already made our choices of course their still you choices I want to clarify, so counting both those theories then that would mean that not once in all of the infinite multiverses in all of time that not once someone has shifted to our reality with a revolutionary technology, or an alien.
What sources do you have supporting that you can transfer your conscious to a different reality and if you don't isn't that pseudoscience

Soooo I think I almost shifted... and it was in the afternoon and my mom tried to wake me up and she got me up except I don’t remember waking up at all... and I think I was almost shifting and I did write in my script that I would have a clone in my CR so do you think that was my clone that woke up or do I have amnesia
I have multiple times in my life been supposedly woken up falling back asleep then woken up having no memory of waking up the first time, but I have never tried to shift, so no you were most likely still in a hazelike state from just waking up.

I hope people do respect each other's preferences and beliefs but I think the would be pretty impossible. We human beings tend to believe things in the most logical ways that will provide our minds to settle in believing hard-fact evidence.

i used to watch James when i grew up as well and when i watched the video he made on reality shifting it was quite disappointing for me too, because i thought that he would be smarter, especially with his big platform, to do more information on shifting rather than spread misinformation .

That video honestly hurt me to watch. I used to really enjoy james' videos so I got excited to see his views on reality shifting. I prepared myself for him to say that he didn't believe in it but I wasn't prepared for him to pull out a bunch of misinformation and compare us to anti vaxers.
I have some questions? Not hating or anything, also i made this before watching the video.
If shifting is real, does that mean there is a chance, that magic may exist here? And also, shifting means to go to another universe right? So does that mean you are travelling at speed faster than light? Cause the expansion of the universe is faster than light. Also, is it only your mind or your entire body going with you. If it is only mind, what happens to your body here? Is there some time dilation to make up for it? Also, what differentiates shifting and dreaming, is it the feeling of your body senses? Or like the realism, and like having a clear mind during it? Please help my doubts.

I’m not a shifter, nor have I ever even touched tiktok. To me, however, it seems like they are lucid dreaming and because they are young they think its magic or something. I’m not sure but that’s my interpretation.
What confuses me is when you experience something first hand it's no longer a belief. It's proven to you. Yeah others might not believe you, but to you it's real and happened. Like if someone saw a ghost, and they are now like "I know what happened with my own two eyes, ghosts are real" you can still not believe them. But why refer to shifting as a belief if you have experienced it? Is it out of curiosity to others who consider it a belief or is it because I is just a belief and there is no experience behind it? I'm confused 😰
I only call it a belief in this video because I knew my audience would be a mix of shifters and non-shifters. You bring up a wonderful point that is very true! To us, it is an experience, and therfore real. To those who haven't had the experience we had, it's only seen as a belief.
