Tom: Yes!
Pretty unnatural looking ball flight as it lands on green. It is dropping fast, then all of a sudden it changes it direction to horizontal.

It’s called ball spin it’s really complicated to explain, but for example Phil Mickelson’s flip shot he can get so much back spin that he can have the ball hit and roll backwards instead of forwards
I can easily hit a golf ball with back spin and it will drop out of the sky hit the green and roll and or bounce backward. The ball in this video changes its downward motion to forward motion about 20 or 30 feet above the ground where it would be losing velocity and spin. You can kind off do that with a whiffle ball, but not a golf ball.

@@potomacmotion You can see that they're set up in the middle of the fairway regardless of where the tee markers are, they're clearly not in the real tee box. Impressive shot none the less, if it's real.
@@89kyleeb If you’re hitting your first shot between 2 tee markers, and the ball goes in the hole, that’s a hole-in-one. It doesn’t matter if those tee markers are on flatbed truck.
@@potomacmotion So if I set up some tee markers on the green right in front of the hole and putt 6 inches for a hole in one that's the same as hitting a hole in one from the actual tee box? Brady himself agrees that it's not a hole in one.

The sound of the ball bouncing and cupping in was added later with fake sound effects, right?
The drone's wings are so noisy that there is no way the sound could be recorded so clearly.

In the side angle view, the drone goes almost vertical after it passes Tom but in the drone’s view it flies straight for what seems like a lot longer before it goes up

Excellent quality, great opportunity. The video clip that is circulating on ESPN and Twitter is literally garbage, you can't even see the ball. The aspect ratio is switched to vertical. Whoever spread that video fucked it up literally beyond recognition. Kudos to YT and the original recording.

The world's fastest FPV drone after a quick google search is about 280kph fast - a golfball about the same launched from a pro.
There's no way the drone can catch the ball unless it passes the golf player already with top speed.
Also, one nahh... might be, but a basket full of nahhh's most likely not ;-)
It probably is faked but your reasoning is off. 280kph is 175mph which is only achieved by long hitters with their drivers. A mid-iron like Brady is using here is considerably slower.

Where is the ball though?
You can see the green was cored and there are balls marks on it, meaning it is soft. There is no way a high iron shot like this one would have bounced like it did on that video. Anyone who find this video realistic has never played or watched golf. It's like this ball was not spinning at all.

Bro, that drone does not start in the position that the “drone clip” displays, they don’t even bother to try to follow the ball and just get Tom Brady’s reaction. Then the real ball goes at an angle which would have been way further than where the cgi ball landed. Then the cgi ball bounces so fucking little and unnaturally. And there are still
