Just saw Davies and Manford a few weeks ago. The London cast is outstanding right now. The orchestra was the best I’ve heard live, and the ensemble sounded amazing on Hannibal and Masquerade. I was very pleased with it.

I've seen the show on 1st of June and got the same cast but with Jordan as Raoul. Definitely the best cast ever.
They've improved the orchestrations on the overture and I love it :-)
The orchestration is phenomenal, I was sat just in front of the stage. The only thing is that sometimes, the voices were covered by the music, especially in "Wishing you were somehow here again". I couldnt even hear Amy on the climax.
First thing I noticed when I saw it last year was the change in the sound quality, along with some tweaks in the music. Hannibal, Prima Donna, and Masquerade sounded so unbelievably good. I went down at intermission and thanked the orchestra crew for sounding so amazing.
I have watched poto for 9 times this year but I never heared scott and amy haha. Luke and amy, kelly and scott, bridget and ben are amazing combinations. But I would say the best duo is Ben and Amy. They are both brilliant and charming.

How close was the person recording to the orchestra?? The woodwind section is so clear! It's so good! I've been able to pick out orchestration details that I didn't notice before...

This is amazing I've been twice now Jan 2018 where I saw Amy and Scott which blew my mind I fell in love. Went again fab 2018 and saw Ben Lewis and Amy. Amy was amazing I really don't like Ben Lewis though. Want to go again but dreading I'm going to get Ben Lewis again. Thanks for this as not many recordings of Scott davies singing

Does anyone know roughly how often do cast changes happen?
Nathan Brown hard one to say now but it is normaly once a year in september for this but the next phantom from september is aprently leaving in december as far as we know

Ben Firth thanks! Maybe he understudied an other role when I saw the show 😊 Yeah ! Manford and Davies were both amazing. Davies broke my heart at the end of the show (I nearly cried) and Manford's acting was pretty good (plus the voice). She really represented the Christine I imagined, maybe more than Sierra Boggess, which really means something because I love her too 😉
Thats not impossible for the auctionner because as you can see on the description, there was a lot of swings on at this performance. The auctionner was certainly played by one of them. The Jeweller was also played by a swing because the one who usually plays this role was Piangi at this performance .
yeah, it seems that some of the swings played the role.

@@dianastandefer3172 Amy Manford was Kelly Mathieson's alternate. I think she had 2 scheduled shows/week. 🙂 It was quite rare that Scott and Amy got to perform together 🙂
