Great video, loving seeing more footage of the Pendpacs and it's crazy to believe that these trucks are almost 10 years. Hopefully Republic doesn't scrap them, I would be cool if they just rebody these trucks onto new chassis. Also did hear that CR&R is taking over the commercial contract for MCSD on December 1.
Thanks. I remember when they were all brand new and looking fresh. Yep, Republic decided to pull out since they were losing more money than they were making from it. One contract down, 5 more to go. MCSD will also be dumping at CR&R starting December 1 as well.
Yeah also remember that MCSD weren't too pleased seeing Rainbow being rebranded so fast and it's great that CR&R gained that contract and that they'll actually sort through the trash for recyclables, instead of just sending it to the landfill.
They wouldn't allow them to even operate trucks that said "A Republic Services Company" on them. The district was really not happy with Republic operating in their boundary. I think for residential trash, CR&R will just send it straight to the dump since MCSD already has a recycle can. It's a possibility for commercial as well.
Nice. As far as Thursdays and Fridays go, its sounds like they'll be done in reverse by working north instead of south. Monday & Tuesday shouldn't be a big deal since they're down the street from CR&R.

Also, Raul told me that there slight altering the routes a bit so that last streets of the route are closer to the transfer station.
