I was hoping that you had made more of these after seeing that one heavy stop a while back, and this one did not disappoint! Heavy Manual greens is a real treat to watch especially with a fast and efficient crew. Must have got a really good workout in by the end of the day haha, great job once again!
Awesome stuff! Always a bummer when you break down like that, a driver im friends with told me how he broke down just after he finished his last can for the day and had to wait for the mechanics to show up. Hopefully it didn't tack on too much much time for you guys that day with the break down.
Thanks! We easily lost an hour and maybe a little more that day. Plus, after we started back up, we eventually ran into where the Tuesday and Wednesday collection day zones border each other, and I had noticed that a whole section was forgotten or didn't fit the previous day. So I decided to take the sub driver thru there to finish it up before any residents could call. In that section of that particular Tuesday route, literally every house had 10-15 or more cans out that week. We ended up packing out before we could even return to our Wednesday route.
Haha it's like San Diego right now. I was thinking that too while watching the first few houses. You guys moved fast for what you were faced with. Great video!
I would love to get a camera inside the truck to see how those greens are being compacted and a dump video would be great. Some of those green are really pretty, hate to them cut and destroyed like that.
I am surprised that Glendora is still using manual trash pick-up. It would be a lot faster and fewer cans on the curb if they convert to automated trash pick-up.
Those were really pretty cuttings 4:21 and those poor baby's at 8:18. I could not do your job as I would be rescuing all of the plants from that awful fate. They don't deserve that.
that backup alarm 🤤

We were all tired after each day that week for sure, but our paychecks were a bit fatter the following week so it paid off...literally lol.
This is damn creative! Absolutely love the angle and makes for a great video! Sounds like some madness with all the greens! Nice work!

WoW!
Where do these people get all that spinach?
Is that just one weeks worth?
I only get about half that much once in a while
Big yards, lots of trees, high winds and it being a foothill community = a big giant salad. Yes it was a week's worth.

Awesome video bro that’s cool.

They did actually this past December, and most of the community was beyond angry over it.

Are carts going to be given out in the future in Glendora?
They went automated in December 2022
