Total Solar Eclipse Time-Lapse | Zoomed In | April 8th 2024

I didn't think my camcorder which was the cheapest one I could find when I bought it would be this good. I had an external monitor because the camcorder's display was broken, and even if it was working, I would've wanted the monitor anyway so I can see what I was recording more clearly. Much bigger display. Unreal experience. The view was amazing, with the naked eye and zoomed in up close. The gradual darkening, the sun's atmosphere (still visible if you payed very close attention even with the cirrus clouds moving by), solar flares, the diamond ring effect. Amazing day. I've never seen a total solar eclipse in person before.
The sharp edits were from me having to move the camcorder as the sun and moon were moving across the sky, obviously, since my camcorder can't move along with it. I had to move it manually. I cut out as many of the times where I moved the camera as possible because the video would've appeared to have a lot of hitches.
