I think pink powder works all thanks to color theory, and it works well with yellow and/or olive skin tone. It has been used by professional makeup artist for many years, and in Korea there has always been pink products in the form of sunscreen or primer, these products usually have "tone up" in their name.
I just bought the Tarte Cloud Coverage and I love it. I’ve really struggled to find a light coverage base product that gets along with my skin. This one actually evens out my skin tone without looking too heavy or too dewy. It’s my new go-to summer staple!
I was really disappointed when NYX discontinued their “Bare With Me Tinted Skin Veil” years ago. It was a lot more similar to their BWM Concealer just more glowy and hydrating w/ less coverage. Tbh I haven’t heard any good reviews of their new BWM Blur Tint.
I LOVE the Tarte Shape Tape CC! It wears really well and looks gorgeous on mature skin 50+. I’m a retail manager and my makeup has to last for a 9-hour shift. The Tarte Shape Tape CC doesn’t settle into fine lines, is transfer-resistant, and doesn’t look heavy on the skin. My skin is oily/combo. My assistant manager is 10 years older and is drier, but I’ve also turned her onto the Tarte Shape Tape Cloud CC. Her first week wearing it, she had three different customers ask her what base was she wearing?
Tarte is my FAVORITE brand for foundations! They have absolutely nailed it for me! Something about their formulas are a perfect match for my skin and shade 💜
Likely the reason the Kosas sunscreen is piling is because the Kosas is silicone free. If your skincare has silicone (anything ending in -one or -cane) then it’s not mixing. Check the ingredients. 😊
Try the Balm tinted moisturizer Anne T. Dotes !! My skin is dry and looks Casey and dryyyy during the summer . I tried this skin moisturizer and looks amazing. I prep my skin before and then sealed the tinted moisturizer with a bit of powder. Better than the It cosmetics!
So bizarre that you’ve had such awful pilling with the Kosas dream beam!! I used it everyday with my skincare routine & moisturizer and haven’t had any pilling! Could be the different skincare products we’re using, who knows!
I have sunscreens that double as a moisturizer and you can't put serums or moisturizer underneath. Instead I use a hydrating toner that sinks into the skin and doesn't leave a film. Once the skin feels dry then I can use the sunscreen without pilling
if you find the time i would love to hear your thoughts on the new Elf Halo Glow Beauty Wands specifically the contour ones! i hear so many mixed reviews and i’m curious to see if it’s actually a comparable dupe to the Charolette Tilbury one. some people say it blends in and loses all pigment and others swear by it. i always trust your opinions so i would love to hear it from you!
I actually prefer the wand compared to the putty bronzer. The putty bronzer blends nice but it doesn't last long at all whereas I find the wand blends easy and last long. Though it depends on the base foundation

@@crab2195 I'm skin tint kinda of gal so I only wore it with the fenty eaze drop and miliani glow tint. But if it's with the fenty. I prep my skin with a hydrating primer and go in with the elf power grip. That works for me. Sometimes I don't wear primer so a nice moisturized skincare is good. Hope that helps
The First Aid Beauty Weightless Mineral Foundation is beautiful under makeup. I’m in my mid 40’s with dry, sensitive skin. It has zinc oxide with a tint with a pretty, not overdone glow. It hasn’t made my skin react.
June has been such a busy mth. I’m getting caught up today while I clean. I may have to try that powder. I have a fair yellow undertone so I wasn’t interested trying pink powders. Seeing how it looks and your opinion on it. I will give a try.
I’m gonna have to try peach slices and the NYX eyeshadow primer after I run out of my urban decay one. I will never spend my money on Tarte. They are not shade inclusive at all and have had many many chances to change and make corrections etc.
I had a free sample of the tarte maracuja juicy glow foundation and it was suuuper dewy on me. I am curious about the cloud cc cream tho, that sounds like it would be a better fit.
Whaat, the Milani Eyeshadow Primer is hydrating? 😯On me, it feels like I put on Elmer's craft glue and I can literally feel the crustiness on my eyelids. It works great though, in terms of effectiveness, so I give it that. But I much prefer MAC's paint pot, which gives the same results while feeling like nothing's on my eyes.
I wonder if the Kosas sunscreen would still pill if you used something like the Laneige cream skin in place of your moisturizer, because that one is kind of the consistency of a toner anyways. Curious to see what will happen if you do try that!
Can you try the new Covergirl Outlast extreme wear concealer please? I’m so curious about it, it claims to be waterproof. I also heard Covergirl is certified cruelty free now

I strongly disliked Skylar boardwalk delight. It smelled sort of....sour (?!) on my skin. Like something spoiled. I was so bummed because it sounded delicious. It smelled slightly better once it dried down but I couldn't get past the weird astringent sourness that it pulled on me. I only had the rollerball from last summer. Perhaps I should give the full size a sniff if it's in Sephora.
I bought their fall season perfume (cant remember the name sorry) and it was also sour and gross to me! Everyone was raving about it and I thought it smelled absolutely vile.
@@SarahPaceSings fall cashmere? I have that one and it does have a sourness to it and the ginger is a lot stronger than anticipated, but that one I can tolerate. It's odd because those are the only 2 Skylar fragrances I've tried that have a sourness to them (to my nose/on my body), though I've only tried maybe 6 or 7 total.

Neutrogena has a mineral uv tint face liquid that i find to be very very similar to the kosas but no pilling and half tge cost
