The fractal terra would also been a great choice specially matching desks color, but it would have taken more desk space in the horizontal orientation.
I have just transferred my PC into this case. same CPU, same motherboard as yours :) My cable management is definitely not as clean as yours (even though I usually pay a lot of attention to that) but I managed to squeeze in a 280mm Pure Loop 2 inside the case. My only regret is that I bought an SFX Silverstone PSU instead of an SFX-L from Seasonic. the 92mm fan was so loud in my PSU that I had to switch it to a Noctua one, which I control from my motherboard. Not bad but not perfect :D anyhow, great build! I hope your girlfriend enjoys it for years to come!
Nice content! I have been hit pretty hard (in a good way) by your short form content so that has been a success. I love this build and the parts being slightly older is completely fine they still work GREAT. The only thing that makes me sweat a LITTLE would be the use of an L9a with a 3700x. I have paired those EXACT parts together before and it was PRETTY toasty. Don't get me wrong, it WORKS, but I feel like we could have snuck in just a LITTLE more cooling. Maybe a Black Ridge, or a Cryorig C7 OR better still... maybe even an L12s OR a Scythe big Shuriken 3 rev.b. Those are good low profile coolers that might handle an 8 core ryzen CPU a little quieter/ easier. I think the Scythe and larger Noctua coolers are about $40-60. Not too bad really. The Hyte Revolt lists 5.51" OR 140mm for CPU clearance so you could actually even go beefier, but down firing MAY have been what you wanted, which makes sense. As far as AIO that case DOES support them but I LIKE that you went air-cooled. For ITX systems from a maintenance standpoint and from a BUILD standpoint I prefer Air coolers. Water DOES however open the build up to people who have CRAZY ideas of cramming 16 core chips in here. Wow look at all that text, I am very sorry. Great video!
hahahah bro since you ever said to play your videos on 1.25x speed haha it watches so chill :D your normal speed also is good :) when i want to relax and calm down i play you on normal speed, but sometimes i have no time and need to watch so many :P so i put you on 1.25x speed :)
Awesome build but I think your 2 240mm fans are in the wrong direction. Id recommend pointing it the other esy for better airflow, correct ne if im wrong. And also awesome build :)
I wanted to do a build with the hyte revolt 3 last summer but the nzxt h1 v2 was on discount for 50% off. I couldn’t pass up that deal because it includes the case, a psu with prerouted cables, a cpu aio liquid cooler, and a pcie gen 4 riser cable all in one package. Otherwise I would’ve gone with the revolt. I wonder what your girlfriend would think of the nzxt h1. It might be too gamery with the tempered glass.
That's a really nice little build. That RX 5700 XT is still a very decent performing card. The only thing I question is the reference card with the blower style fan. If you're going for quiet those tend to get pretty darn loud. Has that been an issue?
Hey man! I love your videos. Just curious during the building process when mounting your CPU cooler, why did you change the default noctua fan? Was it just preference or did you want something still quiet but more powerful? Was it mainly for the heatsink? Thanks!!
Thanks! The cooler normally comes with a slim Noctua fan, and I swapped it out for a thicker Noctua fan (that I had from a long while back, from another build ). The thicker one is slightly quieter and will have some increased airflow due to size, but is definitely not required when using this cooler.
@@DanKamYouKnow Ahh cool. Thanks so much for the fast response. Found your videos through shorts but now going through your main vidoes. Much love, brother!! 🙏
I'm still kind of new to building and was gonna follow this step for step part for part except the GPU probably. but my question is what do you mean by this haha I thought the SSD in this build is NVME or am I just not understanding something
For sims a fanless intel n100 mini pc would be more than enough… By the way, playing at 1440p is absolutely wrong. Do it in 1080p, or in 4k. Not this half baked resolution… And on a potato 720p or less.
no offense i love your content and you but you cant call that case tiny its more like little, something like a Fractal Terra SFX-L, SFX, Mini ITX would be tiny tho good video.
0:45 It's beautiful to look at, the PC that started it all
❤️❤️❤️
Your channel is so chill and calm
Love your shorts. This is the first full length video. Instantly subbed. My wife also loves the Sims and I built her a PC to play it on
I7-6700k, 1070ti, 32GB DDR4 3200, 2TB Samsung Pro on an Asus z170 mobo. Rig kicks Sims 4 arse 😅
The fractal terra would also been a great choice specially matching desks color, but it would have taken more desk space in the horizontal orientation.
Love the Fractal Terra! Such a cool little case and would have matched very well. The Revolt was just a little better fitting for her setup 👍🏻
Having a girlfriend who also plays the sims a little tip she will definitely eat up that 512gb of storage😂
💯 I play the sims and when I build my pc I'm planning at least 4 tb
Bro one of the books is the new sex therapy at 0:13
Dan this came out so dope brotha. Love how compact it is I might consider something like this for myself with my old parts
Really liking these smaller builds lately. Thanks for the comment, Chuck!
Nice! My bro Dan has always had an eye for design, since we were kids!
Thanks Nathan! You the man
I love your calm, chill videos. Thank you Sir!

Omg im so using this. This is exactly what i wanted in a 1st gaming pc. Thanks so so much ❤❤
Thanks for the build, boo. 😘
❤️❤️❤️ Glad you like it
Believe or not she not subscribed to your channel and this is not good
Just joking 😄

what graphics card are you running?
Honestly i dont normally like small cases, but this looks amazing, got me wanting to build one just like this!.
It’s a really fun case to build in, takes a little bit of planning and patience, but comes out so well
I would put rgb in it, make it all steady warm white light and use it as a desk lamp
Nice build Dan, keep it up!
Thank you!!
Just found your channel. I love your videos. Your shorts crack me up. Keep up the great content man!
i think the fractal design terra jade would of looked good on the desk it has a nice green colour to it ❤
Thanks for recommending this, I looked it up and holy moly it is gorgeous.

you've now made it a challenge decide on getting the L9a or a L12s

never built a small form factor, is the psu and the 140 both pulling air in?
guess she's used to tiny things... edit: sorry bro didn't mean it, love your content btw
