Just a heads up that lian li does do the infinites with a reversed blade. So you can have the infinity mirror showing even with intakes.
Yeah, the one cable per fan group is the way to go. Easiest cable management there is with this many fans. Only thing that sucks is the Lian Li software makes my PC idle much higher than normal, so I have to make sure I turn it off after it boots and loads my profile. The reverse Infinity fans look cool, I don’t think I can spend another $200 to get the 6 I need for intake though 😭😩.
If you can find the reverse blades in stock anywhere 🙄🙄 I found an Amazon listing, tried to order some before Christmas and they never shipped after 2 months so cancelled. I just built my first computer using the NZXT Elite. Super satisfied, and still kinda in disbelief I did it. No problems with temps because of the AIO and ten fans. I did mount the AIO on the side though because I wanted to see the RGB through the top glass. She looks beautiful. I love this case.
After watching the ease of installation and how good the H9 looked, I literally just cancelled by order for an H6. Used this case as part of my first build in about a decade. Probably the best cable management I've ever done, still poorly done but looks like a pro compared to my old builds. Nice watching these videos to see how I can improve, what I can add to it, etc. Kinda miss adding a cd/dvd/br drive, so was my first use of a usb drive for adding an operating system, using ubuntu for the first time in 15+ years too, missing windows 98, xp, and 7. Overall happy with the build I've had for about a month now. Your build looks really nice all lit up, and clean. Curious on switching out fans. This is a super quiet computer compared to my last one, a clearance prebuilt...but wondering what changes I would get switching to say be quiet fans, or the power output needed to ones that light up, how much of a difference those make.
Great video, thanks. Only just purchased the NZXT H9 Flow in preference to HYTE Y90. The latter, not as thermally efficient and if I had gone with the Y90, my vertically mounted GPU would be right up against the glass. My system will be based on the AM5/Ryzen 78003XD. AIO is 280mm Bequiet and supporting case fans also Bequiet 120mm fans. I will go along with the exhaust 3 case coolers for the side panel but since my GPU is vertically mounted, I think it would be better to place the intake at the base (3 fans), because there's no obstruction from the GPU and the cooler air would push up the warmer air upwards into AIO 280mm exhaust fans top of the case and side exhaust fan 120mm. I may opt to change to your setup if I'm not getting the desired outcomes :)

@DatHondaBoi223 I know this is a really old comment lol. But I'm prettybsure he used Lian-Li software for fan colors, speed, etc. Then you disable the app so it doesn't keep coming back on randomly in the background. You can use Bios, but normally bios limits you to a certain color(or full range "rainbow fans"). But, if your fans are only one color(like blue-white in the video) you can use bios only.

It was a matter of time for NZXT to catch up on this desing. It's funny because when I saw this case launch, I inmediately remembered your build on the HYTE, I guess it was memorable because I saw it first in your channel. It sucks that there's no stock on the GPU bracket, that's one downside from NZXT, they never seem to have stock on a lot of products.
Yeah, their availability for products is bad. Don’t know why they don’t up their manufacturing process, like you said, everything is always out of stock. I miss my Hyte Y60 build, really fun case to build in.
I’m looking to buy this case for my next build. I want to use the NZXT DUO 120mm fans, and each fan has 2 cables running off it, and just picturing the cables from 10 of those is haunting me.
Dude! NZXT boards look so clean, and I love your build Nate. I believe they only make a B 550 I believe, while I currently have an X570. For aesthetics, the NZXT would be so clean.
Might be a little late but I have to ask since the build in planning right now is almost identical. In the part list you provided in the description you typed ( x4 / 3-pack ) does that mean that I should buy 4 units of the 3 pack fans? And isn’t the rear fan different? And if I do buy the 4 units of 3, wouldn’t that mean I would have 2 fans left over?
Lovely build, i just bought this case to do my first build. Trying t figure out the fans, going to do the same setup as you and wondering if i should get reverse blade LIAN li for the intake.
It looks amazing! I'm doing the same build this weekend. I'll just be using NZXT fans and a vertical GPU mount. The only thing that I'm a bit unsure about is the position of the radiator (NZXT Kraken Elite 360 RGB). I'll have it as exhaust in the top or as intake in the side (push/pull). What would be better?
Thanks! I have been running the 360mm AIO on top, which works just fine, but I’m curious as to whether a push/pull intake setup on the side would be more beneficial. I’ve had better luck with the side mounted intake on other cases, so I wonder if it works better for the H9 Flow. I will have to try this in the future.
Gonna be ordering this fan would you let me know how what order your fan sync is with the controller for the infinity mirror fans please ps love how your pc came out 🔥
Thanks for the video Dan. regarding the Lian Li fans, there are reverse blade fans, you mentioned that you've installed bottom and side as intake (I think the default direction for those fans are intake where the mirror is) and the reverse blade ones are for exhaust on the mirror side (for the looks) to be installed on the AIO and back, am I correct? as I'm planning on building the same case with fans however maybe a different AIO. Thank you
I have the same case the front panel can be removed by the screws there are screws on the bottom of the case. side, and top to take it off. Also the elite version only has glass on top but the temp difference is minimal with proper fan setup. (1-3 C). You can side mount the rad and have 6 fans on it for better cooling as well. And the y40 is hotter cause the gpu is next to the glass which causes it be hotter. The cooler master vertical v3 vertical mount works with the case. The nzxt is impossible to get atm. With a vertical mount the gpu is 2-10 C more depending on your room conditions and the gpu. You can remove the plastic cover if you want on the cable management thing.
@@DanKamYouKnow The case is awesome imo plenty of space for future gpus. My core specs are i9 13900k with the z73 and a 3090 ti by evga. (rip). The rad has 6 fans in push and pull on the side of the case. I compared the side and top, the side was better for temps. I would have upgraded to the 4090 but with the way current games are I'm just not finding the want or need to upgrade. I play at 4k but the 3090 ti gets enough fps for me. I have the vertical mount by cooler master it's nice but the higher temps are noticeable compared to horizontal mount gpu. EVGA claims that the shroud is supposed to be designed for vertical mount. However, in the case of the 3090 ti not great cause the memory modules on the backplate. I have 10 lian li al 120 v2 in my case. I also debated between the flow and elite got both but ended up with the elite. The flow did have better temps but only by like 2 C on cinebench r23. The elite also comes with 3 duo fans which have rgb on both sides of the fan and a controller which retail value is worth it but if you don't use nzxt fans then not really. I at first used nzxt fans but the cables were way too much so I went lian li. So that value was lost lol the controller only works with nzxt products. I also have lian li strimmer cables which is why I got rid of the plastic cover. I didn't care about cable management and shoved everything at the bottom tho lol
I might have to try a push pull with the rad on the side, that would be a fun little experiment to try out. Honestly, EVGA’s departure from the GPU space is such a bummer, there isn’t any other cards on the market that I like, as far as looks go. I’ll probably stick with my 3080 until I decide to go 4K. For now, I am pushing 2 1440p / 144hz monitors ( one is an ultra wide ) and the 3080 does just fine, so it’s staying for a bit.
Hey Dan! Would you recommend to place the one rear exhaust fan (lian li) first, or put the motherboard on first instead? I’m trying to fit the same fan on, but it feels like a really tight fit. But seems you were able to do it.
A year on, what would you recommend... a lian li 011, the nzxt h9 or the nzxt h6... i personally would like to do a push-pull on the side inlets but i thought id ask 😂
Ive been thinking about getting a black H9 Flow to change out my White Lian Li 011. Qas thinking black for like a cookies n creme type theme. (MOBO, RAM and GPU and black and AIO and all fans are white inside)
Awesome build. I would like to ask if the tempered glass is tinted? I am hoping that it is not(like on the white version) so that it'll have max viewing. I am also planning to put a figure in front and I can't decide what is the best color to get. White or black... Hoping to get your inputs. Thanks
Thanks! The glass is slightly tinted on the black H9 Flow. With a little bit of RGB, you can clearly see all the components though, depends on the lighting you are going for. I do love white builds, but I feel like you have to fully commit to all white components for it to look really good. Some black and white setups do look good though. I normally always lean towards black, but that’s personal preference
Love your build, the fans look AMAZING. Do you have additional comments now on the GPU temperature? I'm interested in upgrading my Cooler Master H500P Mesh into this case and I'd be happy to hear your opinion (do you recommend any alternatives?)
Shortly after making this video, I changed the GPU orientation to vertical (I made a video for it), but even set as vertical, the GPU temps are fine, even with a warm running card. The Phanteks NV-5, NV-7, and Liam Li Dynamic XL are all very comparable and better than the H9 Flow in some areas.
Having trouble fitting my single exhaust fan in place. You seem to have popped it in there quite easily. Do I need a bit more dad strength or am I missing something ?
Thanks for the good video. I have a question. I'm currently using Rog Helious (with all 4 stock 140mm fans) and Rog Raujin 360 MK I (with the small display) and stock Noctua fans on it, thinking about changing case (Phanteks NV9 or 7; O11 Evo D XL or NZXT H9 Flow). So question is which one is better for GPU and CPU Temp if any? Thanks.
Yo I will soon use this case for my first PC built but you said that it could fit a 280mm radiator and I am pretty sure the one ur using is a 360mm radiator which isn’t the same one as in the links in the description…besides that you showed me that a 360mm could fit too so it’s alr
The link used to be correct, but NZXT actually doesn’t make that AIO that I used in the video. The link now directs to a different cooler all together. The closest one now would be this 360mm NZXT AIO: amzn.to/3WlnGCl And you’re right, I used a 360mm in the video.
I was gonna go for the H6 flow but I wanted the arctic 3 liquid freezer so I ended up picking the H9. Do you think I can mount the aio on the side panel as intake?
Thanks! The headlamp is a Streamlight Bandit Pro. I used to use them all the time when I was a auto technician for Toyota. Now I use them for pretty much any project. Rechargeable, non bulky, and pretty cheap too: amzn.to/3Q7vbKp
im trying to build this somewhat same bulld but white but im having problems as its my first time building. the back fan wont fit on for some reason but multiple builds use the same fan and can fit on and im worried ive damaged my motherboard

For now, I am pushing 2 1440p / 144hz monitors ( one is an ultra wide ) and the 3080 does just fine, so it’s staying for a bit.
looks good, bro...
Thank you ❤️
Hey Dan!
Would you recommend to place the one rear exhaust fan (lian li) first, or put the motherboard on first instead?
I’m trying to fit the same fan on, but it feels like a really tight fit. But seems you were able to do it.
It looks super cool
Thank you!! Appreciate it.
Its a mean case bro ive been looking at geting this one
A year on, what would you recommend... a lian li 011, the nzxt h9 or the nzxt h6... i personally would like to do a push-pull on the side inlets but i thought id ask 😂
LETS GOOOOOOOO
LFGOOOOOOO
Lianli Sl120 Infinity reverse blade looks amazing much better compare with your variant.
They do look good but I already owned these before the reverse ones came out. Not sure I want to spend another $200 for them, maybe one day
hey dan love your videos. what parts would you recommend for a 2000 dollar pc?
Kratos making pcs before gta 6 😂
Ive been thinking about getting a black H9 Flow to change out my White Lian Li 011. Qas thinking black for like a cookies n creme type theme. (MOBO, RAM and GPU and black and AIO and all fans are white inside)
Love the PC and all, but I gotta know.... where'd you get that lazy Susan you're using to spin the case around?
LOVE YOUR VIDEOS
Do you reccomend changing out all the fans? Or did you do so because you already had them on hand?
just thinking about to switch from the h7 flow to the h9 flow bc im running a matt black build rn and i want a rgb build now XD
Which one do you prefer? Hyte Y40 or nzxt h9 flow? And great content❤❤❤
Having trouble fitting my single exhaust fan in place. You seem to have popped it in there quite easily.
Do I need a bit more dad strength or am I missing something ?
Hey man, what desk to you have? and the size? attachments with it? thanks
Thanks for the good video.
I have a question.
I'm currently using Rog Helious (with all 4 stock 140mm fans) and Rog Raujin 360 MK I (with the small display) and stock Noctua fans on it,
thinking about changing case (Phanteks NV9 or 7; O11 Evo D XL or NZXT H9 Flow).
So question is which one is better for GPU and CPU Temp if any?
Thanks.
why the 30 series.. I can't recall. Was the 40 Super series now out then?
Dude please tell me you have a video on the MSI EZ fans?!?!?! I’m having big issues right now. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
The closest one now would be this 360mm NZXT AIO:
amzn.to/3WlnGCl
And you’re right, I used a 360mm in the video.
following your build to the letter- ? did you leave the screen filters on the top and bottom- will that dampen the air intake from bottom?
First person I heard that said the cable management is bad/horrible in this case.
Yoo ! On the GPU Cooler, it's NZXT Fans or Lian Li on your build ?
Did you need a fan hub for the Lian Li fans if so what did you get?
Very nice!
Thanks Robert!
This, or the Lian Li O11 Vision Compact?
What are the fans called? Love their rgb
Do you like the Nzxt H9 or the Hyte 70 case better with the vertical gpu mount and cooling?
Bro, I'm your well-wisher from Bangladesh. I have a question, Where did you find these NZXT velcro cables that you used in the Water pump? Thanks!
They came with my NZXT AIO. It’s the Kraken Z73 360mm AIO
@@DanKamYouKnow Thank you for your reply and information :)
i reccomend buy the gb - 001 anti sag braacket from lian li, it works very well and is hidden
That’s a clean looking bracket. I ended up going with a vertical mount actually, and made a video about it 👍🏻
I was gonna go for the H6 flow but I wanted the arctic 3 liquid freezer so I ended up picking the H9. Do you think I can mount the aio on the side panel as intake?
Congrats.

@@DanKamYouKnow After Thanks for watching, I've been thinking "damn that's an awesome case".
BTW which headlamp is that 🙏?
Thanks! The headlamp is a Streamlight Bandit Pro. I used to use them all the time when I was a auto technician for Toyota. Now I use them for pretty much any project. Rechargeable, non bulky, and pretty cheap too:

@@DanKamYouKnow Thanks, about the liquid cooler.
Does it raise the temperature in your office easily?
Even though it’s the same amount of heat output as an air cooler, I do feel like a radiator heats up a room faster than an air cooled PC.
How would you suggest a pc buisiness?
I have this PC Case too Bruh :D That's a Really so good :)
What desk is that? The tabletop is beautiful
Thanks! It’s the IKEA KARLBY 98” kitchen counter top. It’s Walnut/Veneer, very nice cut of wood and craftsmanship
@@DanKamYouKnow oh wow! I didn't realize how big it was in the video!
It’s definitely a chonker
what is the name of those fans in the case that the nzxt h9 come with? (Name pls)
I have same case bro,
nzxt H9 flow What should be the correct air flow in the case?
Bottom and the side fans should be intake. The rear fan and top fans should be exhaust.
Did you manage to close the case with the RTX 3090 or was it tight because of the power cable?
I had no issue with closing my side panel. It’s close but fits fine.
im trying to build this somewhat same bulld but white but im having problems as its my first time building. the back fan wont fit on for some reason but multiple builds use the same fan and can fit on and im worried ive damaged my motherboard
Will a corsair 12VHPWR cable be long enough for this case? It's 60 cm
Yes I use it right now
What is that stand your computer was on?
Is there a Way to take off the front glass panel?
i'm about to switch to the Corsair 6500X
question, does the elite version come with RGB FANS?
Hey man did you install any standoffs or is the case ready to go
It’s ready to go for ATX motherboards. You’ll use the included stand-off wrench to move the bottom standoffs for M-ATX and ITX
@@DanKamYouKnow thank you sorry for asking a question that you anwsered less than 1 minute later
No worries 🤝🤝🤝
do you think its necessary to add 3 fans to the bottom? I'm going to use this case for my 4090 build.
Yes, the more airflow to the GPU, the better 👍🏻
i have the h9 flow too, but in white😀
😎🤝😎
