I clearly remember buying a game package with an Aurora on a sale. I was going to upgrade it to a Reliant Kore and that was going to be it. Now I'm a concierge. I'm not entirely sure how it happened, but I guess I can blame Covid and all the time spent at home. This game can suck you in. Careful with it!
The whole CCU thing is both good and bad - it makes those incremental spends so easy. I’m not knocking anyone who has spent quite a bit (I admittedly don’t practice what I preach as much as I should) - if you compare what you’re spending to other hobbies then it’s not so bad (if I look at what I’ve spent on guitars, surfboards and mountain bikes in the last 10 years then SC is barely a blip). The thing I don’t like to see is new folks in our discord who feel like they have to do an upgrade to “be useful to the org” etc.
Thank you for doing the videos you do! It's helped me a lot in my Star Citizen noobness! Your voice is calming so it's a plus when you get great content and a relaxing experience!
Thanks mate! I’ve been really lucky with the support and have been able to get some audio gear I wouldn’t otherwise have had - has been a big improvement!
I really found joy in watching your videos, you helped me with my mining problems and all of your videos are so informative and easy to understand, They have something about them that no other videos have! i love them! Keep up the great work!
I believe the purpose of the 400i is due to them wanting to implement passenger missions. Where you will begin taking NPC's across Stanton and the more luxurious the ship, the more aUEC you earn and I think rep too.
Haha clear out your stuff and turn it into other stuff! There was a bit of catch up to play this patch as nothing much went into shops in 3.16 that released in 3.15 (I don’t actually think anything did).
I've only recently got the game, and even more recently found your channel. I find the way you describe and explain things to be superb, so I had to subscribe. Thank you for all you do, and thank you for running the competition, it's a great opportunity for all.
3.16 and 3.17 are the turning points for me and my buddies! I've finally been able to get them to jump into the verse, and recently I've had to caution them about the ship buying habits you talked about!
Yeah I think with the cutty steel they realised they made a mistake on the USD pricing. With the A2 the thing I keep coming back to is that reputation isn’t in - so maybe it’ll only be slightly more expensive but involve a really big rep grind to unlock in the final game.
I think you are right about the raft being designed so nice. Hopefully they give that miner a nice kitchen, who would want to mine if you can just haul the goods in style.
I appreciate the content you're making for SC. It's one thing to see what people are getting up to and another entirely to hear a candid review of ships, especially those I've considered buying. Thanks very much.
Thank you for these videos, as someone who is mostly watching from the sidelines even with having over 1500 dollars worth of ships pledged for, being able to see the goings on in game without having to take time off my main game helps a lot, much appreciated buddy!
Thanks a bunch for your channel Loud Guns! I bought a package back in 2013 and am watching many video's 'catching up' on all things Star Citizen. Your efforts are much appreciated, great video's, and straightforward, love them, keep it up! :)
I love your videos, as they highlight that the game isn't just about money but also having fun and trying things out. I started playing after one of your videos and I'm really happy to hear you're able to give even more to a community you're already helping with your videos
Thanks very much Myles! Tbh this is a pure hobby for me and with the cash I’ve already picked up a couple of bits for myself - share the love and you never run out!
Just discovered this channel! Really appreciate concise in-game updates, everyone else covers development and meta-stuff so this is a nice change of pace.
Cheers mate! Yeah try before you buy once by borrowing it from an org mate, then try before you buy again by saving for your own with aUEC before you part with any $$$!
Thank you for the videos! I’ve been learning about SC with your videos and I really appreciate the way you provide information without the hard sell I see in so many other videos!
I found your channel because of your quant mining guide, and really appreciated the time and effort you put into creating that. I've been watching ever since.
I usually don't like to buy ships IRL since one of the biggest gameplay loops we have is earning money to buy new ships. SO I am really excited to see the 400i in games. My wallet was getting scared.
Very good information. And also very well presented. And even a list in the descriptions (for those that cannot wait ;-). A note on ship prices: CIG said that currently in game ship prices are "heavily discounted". The idea is to make it easy to get any ship so test data can be collected. Prices will be much higher as well as having requirements in the future.
When you were speaking of Argo Raft and how that reminded you of your Mole needing a rework, you reminded us Connie owners how we desperately need a rework and getting closer to gold standard.
You provide an outstanding overview on SC content with a very detailed explanation that can be easily absorbed, I especially love the mining and transport aspect of your content which is invaluable to me… MISC provide awesome functional ships, so I am very excited about the Hull, and all the content of future ships, keep up the good work.
Thank you Loud Guns for yet another great video and very intelligent advice people should follow (as I did). Yes you saved me money my friend, and yes when at all possible, purchase the ships online with aUEC. Because you can afford it doesn't mean you should buy everything on impulse (like I used to do lol). You will be a lot less pissed off when they nerf the shit out of the ship you just spend $400 to $800 real money for. I've seen people spending thousands on ships just to see them nerfed to a piece of crap not long after and then having to wait a very long time for bugs to eventually get fixed. Sure it takes me a bit longer to buy the ships having to mine my way to riches but I can live with that.
Well just to say I think it's amazing it's only be going a year. You don't comment on every single scrap of news coming out if cig, and I find your videos fun to watch, informative and honesty a bit therapeutic. Good show!
I entirely agree with you: You don't *need* anything more than the base package to get started. Though in addition to buying ships in game when they come out, most of us who do have more then one ship (especially those of us with really oddball ships that don't show up on the store, such as my Mustang Omega) tend to let folks try them out or otherwise show them off. I've been in a few entirely ad-hoc "ship shows" where everyone brings out their rides. Only other time I've seen an Omega that wasn't my own was at such a meetup.
Yeah I reckon something we all forget is that even though there’s lots of people playing, everyone in SC now is an early adopter. I think as we go further in to development more people who sign up are going to just buy one ship and look for everything else in game. Personally I just feel that locking in certain ships right now isn’t the way to go if you’re not being entirely holistic about it. The folks I’ve spoken to who bought an Ion are either happy or salty and it’s down to why they bought it - for the happy people it was either to back the project or rule of cool, the saltier side is people who bought it because it was strong. There’s nothing wrong at all with buying stuff you think is fundamentally good from a game standpoint; but if you’re doing that it’s better to wait patiently for more of the chips to land.
I am really a fan of this system of people being able to buy the ships and have early access(even though I personally won't) and then they get released in a chunk for people to use. All the features and things to see are awesome too. I hope all is well with you and yeah Ill check out your discord
Dude, I like you. You helped me learn to make money once upon a time ago. You keep me up to date with things. Thank you for being you and doing your thing.
Man that Aegis Redeemer looks awesome! Reminds me a little of the Pelicans from Halo haha I just got into SC myself and am trying to stack my cash for a cutty! Just want to thank everyone for being a part of something so amazing and I can't wait to see what the future holds for us all, see you in the 'Verse Citizens!!!
awesome vid. helped me narrow down which ships i actually want. and i like the tip/advise u put in at the end. its so true and i support your view on it.
I don’t the game yet, but I want to once I can build out a computer. You were one of the first content creators I found covering this game. Thanks for the content.
Hey mate - glad you’re enjoying the vids! Always feel free to come over to the discord anyway - will give you some feel for the game and a community for when you join :D
I like the idea of luxury ships like the 400i. I hope they add some gameplay loop around them though, maybe something similar to Elite's passenger missions
Great Video gives enough detail on each ship for people to make decisions. I backed Kickstarter way back in the day (2012) but only started playing 4 days ago. I'm loving flying around in my 325a, but also have met some truly great people in game and gone on Bounty hunting runs and bunker raids with them. Not sure what ship I'm saving up for just yet.
Nice video and nice recap of all the new in game prices for the new ships!! Can't wait to cargo refractor to drop out so i can decide which ship to buy, now i'm into the Connie Taurus as a everyday ship, combat and cargo all together but i will look closer the ARGO raft!
Nice video, for one that doesnt follow all the new ships it was nice to get a good explanation of the new ships that are on the way. Now I just need to decied what to get first.
Took the 400i out with full crew, group MRT missions were a hoot. Pilot burned in hard lancing targets, blast past the targets who then give chase only to be blasted by the two remote gunners focused on firing out the back.
I picked up Star Citizen last month. The MISC Hull A was the deciding factor for me to jump in. I've been watching the development since 2013 and I'm excited about what I've been seeing from CIG as of late.
I absolutely love the MISC and ARGO ships in SC. So i might get those in game. I have to thank you as well for actually helping me start mining in the verse back in 3.13 where I first started and where I started watching your videos. I've taken a break but I might be back soon this 3.17.
As someone is still fairly new to Star citizen and the persistent universe but not the development of the game. I happen to come across your channel from my list of recommended SC content. I won’t lie I’m very tantalized by the giveaway so expect a bunch of comments on every video through April and beyond. As for the this video, I found it extremely informative and linking the timestamps for each ship and specific place in the video helped a ton especially when bouncing between different ship info. All in all very solid video and consider me subscribed. Looking forward for more content and fingers crossed for a ship win. Happy Easter also!!!
Nicely presented video. I agree that it's good to get all these ship to buy in game. I also agree that I'm never sure as to the purpose of Origin ships other than to look sleek.
I'm getting better at resisting buying new ships after getting a little carried away in the past. Now it'll take something special to make me buy vs just waiting to work for them in-game. An interesting point you raise regarding how reputation may eventually link to ability to purchase certain ships. That also ties into speculation regarding the BMM, which may require a very complex game path to eventually barter to negotiate in Banu to acquire one.
I finally got to fly my Redeemer with a couple of gunners, and... oh wow. It's a terrifying ship with those big guns firing up! Good to see all these ships hitting in game shops, there's some great buys to be had. The Steel is somehow the cheapest Cutty variant in game, and the most expensive variant with real cash!
@@LoudGuns I still think the Steel is going to be an absolute monster in larger conflict modes like Theaters of War; throw 20 pissed off NPC mercs into a contested landing zone, and that ship will be a holy terror!
@@vagabondprime1691 Main problem with the Steel is that it's not terribly fast or durable. So you aren't making it to the ground in one piece in a contested landing zone. Pretty sure you're better just flying a small fleet of Pisces in over the Steel. More likely to some of the troops safely to the ground, and each of the ships are individually more agile, so more likely to make it to the ground.
@@fwg1994 Oh, for sure! I don't want a Steel in any way, shape, or form... but I have a feeling we're going to see waves of those things full of NPCs and grow to loathe them in the future!
Awesome video explainer! Thanks for sharing the info and saving me the effort of having to figure out where to find which ships in the next patch! You've saved me so much hassle on mining.. You've got no idea, now you're help here has been invaluable! I've shared the vid with all my org mates. Hope it helps you!
That was a very good summary, nice. I always had a thing for the snubs, and as the game starts getting more content to explore and interact with, they might finally have some semblance of purpose
I think snubs could be huge when we have AI crew - like a lot of folks love the Connie just for it’s pilot guns. But when you can get some AI in the two turrets and your mate in an archimedes with four size 1’s……pew pew!
since playing about 2-3 months ago i have been looking at the ships i wanted to get, i was thinking of either going militery (A2, ballister, nova tank) or the exploration (connie phoenix) still blown away by the amount of ships and things on offer ingame amazing video and look into the verse thank you
Great video man, very well put together. First one I've seen of yours, wish I had found your channel when you started! I pledged for sc in 2015 and am such a noob, hitting that sub button now :)
Thanks for another great and informational video LG ;) I'm looking forward to seeing more of the new ships being able to be bought in-game for aUEC game credits Mark from Denmark (M_Dane)
Haha I’m completely the opposite when it comes to Crusader ships - can’t quite get on with them because they don’t feel dirty enough! But that’s one of the great things - my favourite does not have to be yours!
It’s good to see the rarer ships making their way into the game. I can’t wait to see the hull series fly through the verse.
Sure it can, but is it the game or ur way of consume thing to blame. aren't you sensitive to addiction in general.
It's easy enough to do. A little bit here, a little bit there, and the next thing you know you have an F8C in your hangar tab...
Love the Raft, After filling it with my prospector trucking it around the verse is mega.
cant wait to get me a 400i, the perfect luxury ship to go camping by the river on Microtech, room for a Nox and a Tumbril RC, and a stocked fridge
Glad to see more ships being purchasable in game. Gives us something more to work towards.
I really found joy in watching your videos, you helped me with my mining problems and all of your videos are so informative and easy to understand, They have something about them that no other videos have! i love them! Keep up the great work!
Thank you very much! Really glad they help people :)
Thanks as always, was great and I'm really looking forward to getting some more ships with aUEC in game!
Cheers Justin - glad it was useful mate!
A nice light summary of where to find the new ships, thank-you.
I believe the purpose of the 400i is due to them wanting to implement passenger missions. Where you will begin taking NPC's across Stanton and the more luxurious the ship, the more aUEC you earn and I think rep too.
Clear and informative! Also, that is a truckload of new ships being added all at once for in-game currency. Glad we're able to sell to shops now too!
I wouldn't even have known that your channel was only a year old. Great quality and informative. Thanks!
I went ahead and bought the 400i to try out in the PTU. Cutlass steel is oddly priced compared to real life price. Same for the A2.
This was an amazing and very concise analysis, thank you so much for not adding the unnecessary fluff
No worries mate - glad they’re useful!
the Cutlass Steel remarks made me chuckle. Thanks for the ship rundown!
Thanks a bunch for your channel Loud Guns! I bought a package back in 2013 and am watching many video's 'catching up' on all things Star Citizen. Your efforts are much appreciated, great video's, and straightforward, love them, keep it up! :)
Thanks Mark! That’s very much the aim so I’m glad they come across like that!
I love your videos, as they highlight that the game isn't just about money but also having fun and trying things out. I started playing after one of your videos and I'm really happy to hear you're able to give even more to a community you're already helping with your videos

Thanks mate! Can’t always promise to be concise but I do my best 😆
The try before you buy advice is solid. It will probably save a few people from overspending. Great video as usual.
Cheers mate! Yeah try before you buy once by borrowing it from an org mate, then try before you buy again by saving for your own with aUEC before you part with any $$$!
thank you loud guns for the update on the new ships that are coming out in 3.17. the ship that I enjoyed knowing about was the Aegis Redeemer.
Thank you for the videos! I’ve been learning about SC with your videos and I really appreciate the way you provide information without the hard sell I see in so many other videos!
I found your channel because of your quant mining guide, and really appreciated the time and effort you put into creating that. I've been watching ever since.
Great and comprehensive video! The new ships is one of the highlights of 3.17 for me.

I usually don't like to buy ships IRL since one of the biggest gameplay loops we have is earning money to buy new ships. SO I am really excited to see the 400i in games. My wallet was getting scared.
started playing star citizen a few weeks ago, truly enjoying your content. thank you
Nice summary of the ships and where to buy them! This will help a lot of new people and I also love these kind of video's! Keep up the good work.
I started playing SC on the 22/04/22, thanks for the great content. I’m now binge watching your channel 🤪
Very good information. And also very well presented. And even a list in the descriptions (for those that cannot wait ;-). A note on ship prices: CIG said that currently in game ship prices are "heavily discounted". The idea is to make it easy to get any ship so test data can be collected. Thank you mate - I forgot to say about this in this episode and will add something to the description.
When you were speaking of Argo Raft and how that reminded you of your Mole needing a rework, you reminded us Connie owners how we desperately need a rework and getting closer to gold standard.
Glad you've found success and joy in you channel Loud Guns, I've enjoyed them quite a bit.
Thanks Eric, I’m honestly blown away by it every day. But mostly I’m just so glad I get to talk this much about my hobby with people 😆
This video popped up on my feed, and good thing it did. It satisfied my SC content craving. You got yourself a new subscriber!
I agree, buying in PU with UEC is a great way to know if I want to spend real $ on them. And gives me something to do in game.
You provide an outstanding overview on SC content with a very detailed explanation that can be easily absorbed, I especially love the mining and transport aspect of your content which is invaluable to me… MISC provide awesome functional ships, so I am very excited about the Hull, and all the content of future ships, keep up the good work.
Thanks Julian! Will do my best :D
Thank you for insight on ship possibilities for SC. Definitely helpful for a noobie.
Just found your channel and just started playing SC. Your video on Quantanium mining helped me greatly, I appreciate the content.
Thanks Marek! Much appreciated mate :D
Well just to say I think it's amazing it's only be going a year. You don't comment on every single scrap of news coming out if cig, and I find your videos fun to watch, informative and honesty a bit therapeutic.

I entirely agree with you: You don't *need* anything more than the base package to get started. I was shocked on how many ships were added for aUEC, love the vids, very helpfull mate : )
I am really a fan of this system of people being able to buy the ships and have early access(even though I personally won't) and then they get released in a chunk for people to use. All the features and things to see are awesome too. I hope all is well with you and yeah Ill check out your discord
It's actually your videos that got me into the game! Keep 'em rolling, star Citizen!
Awesome! Glad I could be of service :D
Fantastic video as always Loudguns, informative and dosen't get boring or repetetive.
Your videos are the most informative that I have found on sc! Keep up the amazing work!
Dude, I like you. You helped me learn to make money once upon a time ago. You keep me up to date with things. Thank you for being you and doing your thing.

Just want to thank everyone for being a part of something so amazing and I can't wait to see what the future holds for us all, see you in the 'Verse Citizens!!!
Now you’ve said that I can’t unsee the resemblance!
awesome vid. helped me narrow down which ships i actually want. and i like the tip/advise u put in at the end. its so true and i support your view on it.
Great video I think this is one of the best video layouts for new ships to show off that I’ve seen

I enjoy your updates. Its so clear and informative. Thank you
Nice start up and good video editing, looking forward to the improvments and content to follow :)
Your mining videos have been such a help and Im currently saving up for my mole, thank you so much for your videos

I'm loving flying around in my 325a, but also have met some truly great people in game and gone on Bounty hunting runs and bunker raids with them. Not sure what ship I'm saving up for just yet.
I’m really excited to get into cargo for once, even thought the Cutlass Black is good, it isn’t truly dedicated :)
That’s what makes the black so good - it’s a proper jack of all trades. Definitely give everything a go at least once would be my recommendation!
Great recap, thanks for keeping us in the loop!
Excellent Video - This game is so hard. Would love to start again in 3.17 with a great starter. Thanks!
Great update! I happy the 400 is going on sale for AUEC finally. Also, giving away a ship every month is real cool - hope I get lucky.
Yeah glad to see a bit of a catch-up on the ships. Better odds than the lottery on the giveaway and free to boot!
Thanks for the ship list update!
I am looking forward to getting an Inferno ingame. The "brrrt" feels great for anti-capital ship fights.
I did greatly enjoy pumping the entire mag into an Idris during XT - ammo conservation be damned!!

Can't wait four the A2. Thanks for the rundown!
Your take on the Cutty steel made me spit out my coffee, good times :)
Oh yeah it’s a total beast. The cutty steel on the other hand…I think CIG just really embraced that it should make zero sense!
But when you can get some AI in the two turrets and your mate in an archimedes with four size 1’s……pew pew!
since playing about 2-3 months ago i have been looking at the ships i wanted to get, i was thinking of either going militery (A2, ballister, nova tank) or the exploration (connie phoenix) still blown away by the amount of ships and things on offer ingame
amazing video and look into the verse thank you
Great video man, very well put together. First one I've seen of yours, wish I had found your channel when you started! I pledged for sc in 2015 and am such a noob, hitting that sub button now :)
Love your videos, especially your guides for everyone, from beginners to veterans.
Thanks for another great and informational video LG ;)
I'm looking forward to seeing more of the new ships being able to be bought in-game for aUEC game credits
Mark from Denmark (M_Dane)
A really clean and informative look at the upcoming ships, thank you!
Thanks mate - glad it was useful!
Surprisingly relaxing video :) thx for showing us the shineys!
Haha it’s not always min maxing I promise - sometimes I also show you how to blow all that cash!!
very informative and well put together vid has got me thinking about the next ship to buy with in game money. thanks
Cheers Michael! Glad it helped mate.
a great video !
i was in the market for a [beginner] cargo hauler , wil need to pick up the raft when 3.17 hit PU.
There's just something about Crusader ships being industrial but very classy looking that I love.
Haha I’m completely the opposite when it comes to Crusader ships - can’t quite get on with them because they don’t feel dirty enough! But that’s one of the great things - my favourite does not have to be yours!
I look forward to getting my hands on a Redemmer, thanks for the vid
