Excellent job! Great job carving and stamping. How wide is the widest point of the sling.

Real nice, just getting into leather work, I've done some basic stuff, knife sheath, belt and some sheaths for wood chisels I make, wanting to learn how to do the tooling, thanks for sharing

Thanks for watching Greg. The more you practice your tooling the better you will get.

Thanks for the video, have you ever tried putting something like rabbit fur on the inside? I'm going to be working on a rifle sling and bought a few pelts and thought I'd try it. I'm pretty new to it though.

Waul , thanks for watching. that sounds like a good idea. I don't do a lot of work with fur however my wife makes purses out of different furs. Maybe a pair of shears would work well for trimming the edge to get a nice finish. Good luck with your projects

Better put that end cap over the bobbin on that machine. You don't want to catch the tip of 1 of your fingers in there.

Some products you could produce. Reproduction WW1 Rifle slings and pouches, for the M95 (1896 Mannlicher). There are used ones available but they are stained and worn out due to age.
