I didn't think they had Chicago screws in the 1890s. It turns out, no pun intended, that the Chicago screws were invented in 1872. Nice work. :)

That was neat how you did that. I learned how to do my spacing for my leather belts. I was using my calipers but your way of locating holes with perfect spacing is much better. 😊
