I have a 11-year-old German riesling that definitely darkened in color but I think it added to the flavor. It is slightly carbonated and I’m not sure it’s supposed to be.
If it's been opened, better not. Old wine, unopened, is fine to drink. It might not taste like it should have, maybe a bit more like vinegar. But you won't get sick of older unopened wine.
Excellent video that explained what happened to my wine.
I just inherited some homemade wine my grandfather made in 1997. It smells like wine but has that cloudy look to it im tempted to drink some
So how was it? Are you still with us?
@the1plantguy IT TASTES LIKE WINE BUT HAD A STRANGE AFTER TASTE. IT GOT ME BUZZED OFF ONE COFFEE CUP SIZE GLASS. I ENDED UP POURING IT OUT

If stored in the right conditions, can wine last indefinitely? If not, how long?
If wine goes bad can you still drink it?
