My first exposure to British bikes was a 66' Hornet, got burned in my brain real good. This may be the best sounding bike I've heard on your show, just fabulous!
Lovely bike, those unit engines always look very neat and nicely finished. Sounds fantastic too, and being a sheet metalworker I can appreciate the work in the Aly tank. Very nice. Thanks 👍
Sunday morning for me, and the beer I will have this afternoon is a Brown Bomber. The QD hub is something the Japanese didn't reinvent, it was a real bonus. K70's, they are better on gravel roads than knobs. The Power Egg, had the same layout as the A10, but a vast improvement when working on them.
Welcome back! They look like Dunlop K70 tyres. (Which are just about the best, IMO and I wish I could have found one of those for my AJS recently. I went with a K82.) If you're fond of honey beers, I can recommend Waggle Dance. Its not a porter but it is a refreshing beer, although it has been a while since I had any.
Beautiful bike. They’ll go nuts for that in Japan. I do hope you have some hearing protection for your wife, those end-of-pipe shots have to be brutal.
I have a 65’ Spitfire Hornet too. Now I want that tank! My original gel coat fiberglass just bit the dust this summer. 25 year rubber bladder gave way to ethanol. Back to my Lightning tank for now.
That's what a motorcycle should sound like!!!
Yeah baby!
Great bike and a great show, Thanks Bill for all the time and effort you put in to make these films, KIWI

Awesome - I just bought one of these in the U.K! Cheers!
Congrats! They are so cool!
Both the exhaust note, and the beer are intoxicating!

K70's indeed and I'm a fan of them too! I'll be sure to buy that beer if I see it on the shelf👍

Yeees! Season 2 is here 👏🏼
Woohoo!

Thanks!
awesome bike and vid ,what is ur shoes ?
White's Boots - 8" Perry is the model👍
That sure is a rip snorting machine. I’m glad I’m not the guy who installed that side cover decal 😂
Lol!
Get a Matchless 650cs, best bike I have had!! 😊
Never ridden one!
Beautiful bike. They’ll go nuts for that in Japan. I do hope you have some hearing protection for your wife, those end-of-pipe shots have to be brutal.
Haha! They are beautifully loud😁
Lovely BSA sound, shame about the music! We don't need the music, as the bike will speak for itself. Love the strate through pipes. 🇬🇧 Nice one.
I try to keep it to just the bike sound but sometimes the audio isn’t up to par and some music is needed. Thanks for watching!
Good vid but you should get in the habit of freeing the clutch before you start a British twin.
Love old Brit Iron, music to my ears
Nothing sounds better! Thanks for watching.
Hey wheelhouse! Do you have a Facebook page or email where I can chat with you? I have a 65 spitfire hornet and have some questions! Thanks
Hey I got your messages and just responded but anyone can reach me at bill@wheelhousegarage.co (not ".com") 👍
