    I ordered the spitfire hornet in 1965 with lighting and speedo/tach. Most streamlined machine I ever had. Of all i've had one i would want tst one back the most

    Beautiful bikes, all three. I would keep the Lighting. I'm a road race fan, I like the alu rims and the downswept exhausts. What were bikes simple and pure back in the day... Excellent.

    I guess it depends if you spend any time in the dirt. I myself would love the Hornet. One of the most beautifully designed motorcycles ever.

    Tough call. I think the Firebird scrambler is the most practical therefore it would get the most use. They are all beautiful. I have a lot of BSA‘s and the one that gets used most is the 69 thunderbolt. I have a 1970 Firebird scrambler that after much work I still cannot get right. I still love it though and will keep trying. A single carb makes life a lot easier. I think the dual carbs give a little more grunt but not enough to make the complications worthwhile. I vote you keep the Firebird. Very nice video thank you.

      Yes, the Thunderbolt was a good one, just like the Triumph TR6 with one carb, a bit easier especially when the carburetors are 40 years old and possibly worn out. Thank you for your vote! BTW: Our survey is in our TH-cam Community page, and there's one other vote for the spitfire. Go get him! Thanks again

      Sorry, I wasn't more help. CZ is not an area of my "expertise", and I use that term loosely. LOL

    • @bullpencycles
      @bullpencycles  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      No, they're pretty easy to kick. You're only kicking 325cc at a time

    The 66, not 67, Spitfire is the charm out of those 3 for sure!

      You're right. Sometimes with so many bikes I get the years mixed up.

      @@bullpencycles Hey Dave a follow up. In 69 he traded the Hornet on a new Sportster. Then joined the Marines and went to Nam for 13 mos. Got out in late 71 nd traded the Sportster for a 72 Harley FX boat tail Super Glide. My buddy Larry was a bad motor scooter.

    Sorry, late to the party. Keep the one with the low pipe. My uncle had a BSA scrambler and it burnt the shit out of my calf. Just sayin’.

    • @bullpencycles
      @bullpencycles  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah, that's true. The high pipers do that!
