Instead of watching this review, let me tell you in a concise manner why you should play and why you should wait. Play: lots of depth/complexity wrapped up in a simple package with a lot of QoL, no time wasting, amazing combat, and a hard last part of the campaign/end game. Crafting/itemization/skill trees/trading is all amazing. Stash tabs are bought with in-game currency, no P2W/convenience options, cheap cost. Wait: servers are terrible currently, and while they’ve gotten better, they still have a lot of issues (especially EUW). There is also some bugs that are quite annoying.
Been playing most last night on controller and it's great, only inventory management is a bit slower, otherwise better than PoE controller support for me.

The playercount peaked at 227k players 2 hours ago, its only been going up despite the hiccups. Even then, alot of players are just playing offline untill the servers stabilize.
Let them leave if they dont have patience, this is an indie studio, let them solve it they are doing it, they released 2gb patch today too, im currently playing offline and bought the game 3 years ago
Both games offer crazy amount of customizations and variety, but for me somehow Last Epoch was easier to understand / more accessible, and everything about if felt just right and gave me more fun, meanwhile PoE felt sometimes exhausting.
You're going to feel really bad when you find out that he doesn't have any friends because he scared to get close to people because he fears that no matter how close they get that they will eventually betray him because of the rare speech impediment that he has that makes him say Epoch the wrong way.
Servers are the worse ever, it´s imposible to play unless you wait 2h. Even if when you finally can actually play the game, it takes waaaay to long to load between zones.
Well deserved. They were reviewing what the game was on June 1st. Terrific Campaign. Gameplay, Combat, Art design, Sound design. Graphics and Stable Servers. =9 out of 10. Maybe should have even been a 9.5 or 10 out of 10.

No way you got through all that gameplay, all that editing, not ONE co worker or friend corrected how you said Epoch? Like how does that happen?
You're going to feel really bad when you find out that he doesn't have any friends because he scared to get close to people because he fears that no matter how close they get that they will eventually betray him because of the rare speech impediment that he has that makes him say Epoch the wrong way.
Reviewing an ARPG after one week of release is like reviewing a marathon race after taking 10 steps.
The campaign is unfinished. Missing three chapters.
This will keep me busy until the new Titan Quest comes out!

better than POE and Diablo 4 IMO.
Servers are the worse ever, it´s imposible to play unless you wait 2h. Even if when you finally can actually play the game, it takes waaaay to long to load between zones.
Meanwhile D4 got 9 from IGN...
Well deserved. They were reviewing what the game was on June 1st. Terrific Campaign. Gameplay, Combat, Art design, Sound design. Graphics and Stable Servers. =9 out of 10. Maybe should have even been a 9.5 or 10 out of 10.

The reviewer seriously tried to make a negative out of a story comparison between an ARPG and a JRPG? oh come on...also, that ign rated d4 higher than last epoch shows the poor state of gaming media. the only thing that d4 has over last epoch is the campaign and an insane marketing budget. in every other aspect last epoch is the better game.
D4 graphics and overall aesthetic are far better than LE.
@@aspectnato8077 That is not nearly as important as gameplay. Graphics shouldn't increase score over gameplay, ever.
@@OutCome5 Wrong but you do you. Graphics (read: artstyle) have been and always will be another deciding factor in determining a game's score.
@@aspectnato8077 Art style sure, but not graphic detail. D2 has a nice art style and atmosphere, but horrible graphic detail. Still a 10/10 compared to D3/D4.
@@OutCome5 LE looks like a Moba mobile game so a lot of people won't play due to it's graphic. and the gameplay is not that great either lol
