The narrator didn't realize that with the Bull and the Bulldog, the dog usually grabs the bull by the nose and suffocates it. Hence the name bulldog and the activity bullbaiting.

When the Buffalo came to chase away the lion, before the lion ran away, it gave a fatal bite to the nose of the calf, so it would drown in its own blood, but the calf died instantly, so the lion allowed herself to be chased away.

This is an awful lot of footage that was on the cutting room floor and just slapped together, then they miss name so many creatures it must be on purpose. Save your time and watch something interesting. Cheers
Fighting horses should be pepper sprayed. They can sometimes kill a lion. Water won’t always break it up.
