There is not 1 day that I don't say something about either one. The best parents anyone could have. I'm the 11th child of 11, and we're all from them, no step sisters, no step brothers. I'm no stranger to losses either, as just recently, at the end of 2019, I lost my Aunt, my Mom's Sister, who was like a second Mom to me and the Patriarch of the Family, then I lost my Mom, both unexpectedly, and while my Mom was dying, my Husband of 30 yrs leaves me for another woman. It's been all very devastating for me. But GOD has a plan and loves us both. Turn to HIM during these times. GOD bless you.

Scotty I followed you through the Idol experience and rooted for you to win. I'm a songwriter here in Nashville, and immediately wrote a song I was sure would fit you well after you won. I took the song on a CD down to your original producer's office and the secretary would not even allow me to leave it for the producer to listen to at his convenience. I was really disappointed by that and just put the song away and concentrated on writing others and working with ones I have written in the past. I'm not an amateur writer. I have been writing songs for over 50 years and have 24 recorded and published by Sony Music. I'm pretty sure you or your present producer will not even see this, but I'm just taking the chance that you might. In fact, I think you are with Sony in some way, so maybe I should go down and talk to them................... Anyone else reading this, I'm sorry if I made you waste your time reading. : )

I never wanted to watch American Idol. I just happened to have the TV on one night that Idol came on. Scotty was on. I was hooked. I was so happy that he won. He is truly the country in country music.

I can really relate to this song. It brings back so many memories, of wishing ..... I Had Five More Minutes , .....in 2003, I lost my 14 year old grandson, in 2005, my brother, 2012, my husband, 2018 my eldest daughter, in March 2019, my younger sister, All to cancer. I'm so so sorry for your losses. I'm no stranger to losses either, as just recently, at the end of 2019, I lost my Aunt, my Mom's Sister, who was like a second Mom to me and the Patriarch of the Family, then I lost my Mom, both unexpectedly, and while my Mom was dying, my Husband of 30 yrs leaves me for another woman. It's been all very devastating for me. But GOD has a plan and loves us both. Turn to HIM during these times. GOD bless you.

I too have had multiple deaths on my hands the only direct blood-related family I have is my son and my dad. And I also lost the love of my life my my son's dad and that would nearly took me down. I have heard there's nothing like losing a child and I can believe that. I can't relate to that but I can relate to the other loses even though I don't know exactly how it's affected you. Scotty I followed you through the Idol experience and rooted for you to win. I'm a songwriter here in Nashville, and immediately wrote a song I was sure would fit you well after you won. I took the song on a CD down to your original producer's office and the secretary would not even allow me to leave it for the producer to listen to at his convenience. I was really disappointed by that and just put the song away and concentrated on writing others and working with ones I have written in the past. I'm not an amateur writer. I have been writing songs for over 50 years and have 24 recorded and published by Sony Music. I'm pretty sure you or your present producer will not even see this, but I'm just taking the chance that you might. In fact, I think you are with Sony in some way, so maybe I should go down and talk to them................... Anyone else reading this, I'm sorry if I made you waste your time reading. : )
