I have been playing since TTT and yea, Yoshi might not have been a good character in the other games. Dose not excuce the fact that the character is way to strong. yea that bryan player did well to mitigate yoshis ub low to full combo the KBD and down jab are great defensive tools to stop that move from him i honestly think it’s not as bad as players say it is. the only problems i see that are too OP is the restoration in HP and High damage* which is relative to other characters like D. Jin like you pointed out.

Everything else has always been Yoshi so don’t understand why people cry about flash and unblockables,scrub complaints. Most of his stuff can be contested if you’re not getting knowledge checked
@@ksander1779 Fair I hope that setup goes away also. Maybe if they make F1+2 not flip them upside down, idk. But the reason a lot of high level players don't go for it is because it is a hard read. Both the Yoshi and opponent have to commit. If you side roll the F1+2 you can punish, if you stay on the ground and he time your get up for when he whiffs the unblockable low, you get a launch. Imo it is an unfun lottery gamble for both players. I play yoshi as a side character, I play like 8 characters tho. And he has too many other cools things that don't risk his own life. So yea nerf that plz. Also I think the setups into his 1+2 stance 2, 1 guard break is a bit overtuned as well situationally. And his flash. I think the frames should stay the same but I don't think it should full combo in heat or with sword put away. If they let him keep that they should at least further reduce the damage scaling I feel. I do like the guard break and combo off of the B2, 2 with heat dash tho. I feel that should stay. But as good as some of his tools are, Yoshi has a lot of weaknesses that people will riot if you even mention. Like he has horrible tracking and string realignment. If something whiffs you are whiffing to the other side of the stage. His good tracking moves in neutral are all highs and there are like 2 of them. And his others good tracking moves can only be done from stances that often required a hit confirm to setup in the first place. Yoshi still has like 68% win rank from Fujin and below... but Raijin and above he has one of the lowest winrates so idk. His gimmicks are strong but they are still gimmicks and proper counter play punishes him hard. If they get rid of those things he will be lacking a lot, but ig that is fine, just back to Tekken 7 Yoshi stuff maybe which I feel was still fun. And also maybe people will discover or use other setups that do exist that just aren't as good as his current "lottery" setups.

@MDhuncho the homing low is very strong what are you on, there's ways to get full crouch without just holding down Yoshi shouldn't have strong low, mid, high, pokes, damage, neutral... But even still if you nerf the damage on the unblockable from being a normal full combo, Yoshi is still very powerful, and it remains threatening. Also...Duh? Yeah I hope if they nerf Yoshi they nerf drag, Nina, Alisa, and more. Obviously, they need nerfs more than Yoshi does, but Yoshi needs to do less damage for how easy he gets his damage, it's unreal.

They could remove both and I’d be fine with it. Also his guard break setup could maybe get nerfed as well. Be realistic and stop sounding like you started playing late into tekken 7 or even 8
@BloodRain222 the damage is indeed the worst part! (I'm not getting hit with this raw in neutral I'm not an idiot) and yes, most characters do in fact have too much! I agree! I have no issue with Yoshi having the sillies. But he should not be outputting Bryan damage with silly stuff! My whole thing was make the unblockable slower (like 1-3 frames), or give it much less reward (would prefer this)
