Howdy and Welcome Back! This is Matt and I love turning trash into treasure. What we do here is take Nacho Stuff and turn it into cash. You see, many people have abandoned all kinds of random treasures and toss them into the trash. We take these lost valuables and figure out a way to make a buck from them. Sometimes it is simply reselling through Facebook marketplace or eBay and other times we might just scrap it. Either way, we are turning free stuff into cash and I think that is pretty cool and addictive. I prefer the curbside scene but occasionally find myself in a dumpster or two. Join me as I try to turn nothing into something.

I mostly consider myself a scrapper or repurposer of things that people have decided to discard. Some call it picking while others consider it a true treasure hunt. But at the end of the day, like most scrappers, I am trying to reduce our waste while lining my pockets a little in the process. Each piece of scrap metal, item of curbside treasure or piece of dumpster loot means one less piece going into our landfills and that makes me happy. Great day. My day was just as fruitful. Love busy days with multiple trips to the yard. You're getting as good as Mr. Scrappity at packing the wagon. I had fun.
I don't know if I am organized as Mr Cincinnati but we did better today and that is all I can hope for. I just hope the week ends up like it has started off - it would be my best week ever if we can keep the pace.

WOW, that picking pile paid off. Multiple commercial refrigerators, regular refrigerator, a washing machine. That's kinda like a gold panner hitting a juicy little spot. Nice score.

I try when I can. the car needed it. It got fixed up more to make space for my night run but it got done.

I put a couple of decking boards on my tailgate on my trailer makes it easier to pull a motor up on there and also for like pulling a grill up
Might be one of my next upgrades
Matt is the drain parts on the sinks not made of brass over there mate ours is over here in Scotland.👍👍✌👊👊
Some are but most of the newer sinks have gone to plastic or aluminum.

Nope - because I went to the yard in between my two neighborhoods I didn't need to. But I tried to be better today and the first load was pretty good. As I got more tired I got sloppier. We will get there.

Throw all those toys in a bag and drop them off at Goodwill. I don’t scavenge but I’ve seen good donatable stuff on the curb that I’ve dropped before. Can’t grab everything of course, but a little bit here and there adds up.
I do bring them sometimes. They limit the amount of stuff you can drop off at our though, I try not to overwelm them

You should always carry a small pipe wrench in ya bag saves ya a lot of struggles.and you would have lot more brass off water heater.great day for scrapping though.
I have one but i was trying to be quick. I missed those pieces but got those pieces of fence by making the space - I think I made the right choice. $1 of brass or $40 of steel.

Yeah but the best thing to do is when you find them mirrors is to flip them over you know if the Sun beats down on them and you walk up on that stuff you can get that glare right in your face but when you leave you can at least flip it over to where it's facing downward

Nacho you need to get yourself a pipe wrench to take those brass fittings off the hot water tanks you get, I do believe that brass is worth more than copper, but I'm not 100% on that. I really enjoy watching your video's tho.
Brass is about 1/2 of what copper pays. I do have a pipe wrench - was just in a hurry. The audio being out made you miss my explanation.

Essaie de charger en priorité la partie du fond. Et laisser libre la partie près du portail pour d'éventuelles machines à laver et frigos cela t'évitera de remuer toutes les fois ton chargement.

We don't have a shredder and the bailer does ok with it. I know it is the same with chain link fence but they take that too.
