As a Lions fan, I just want to say bravo on the entire season sir. The NFC & AFC saga. The weekly team reactions. The what if the NFL was scripted vids. The power rankings and pickems. The live streams. The everything. Well done. Go on vacation for a month or two. You earned it.
“I made a new friend, his name is Eugene” that shit hit me like a truck papa cardinal was my favorite character (edit - holy crap Tom reacted, thank you man)
I knew it was going to be Grandpa Eugene as soon as he said he had made a friend. The AFC West was my favorite saga, and Eugene was a big reason why. Just a shout out was enough to make me misty.
To be honest, I gave up on being a NFL fan over a decade ago. Discovering Tom and this series has rekindled my interest in the league. Thanks for bringing me back.
For me, it's been the other way around. These reaction series, starting from the East, helped me get into the NFL during the pandemic. As fun as following the NFL is, I think I got too unhealthy and toxic with it, and I will take a step back and stop following the regular season as closely as I had. And this video is the perfect way to close this chapter in my life as I explore new interests. I will always appreciate Grossi for all the amazing work he has done for this community and my life.
