I've made this bag twice now. I slightly modified each bag by changing size/ shape but the basics of putting it together was so incredibly helpful. I'm so excited to have custom bags that match my hair scrunchies/ headbands.
Wow! It's like you can read my mind! I bought canvas, cotton lining, d rings and sliders to make body bags for little school girls. Backpacks are so big, bulky for them. Your instructions are just what I needed! Thanks so much!
As soon as my waterproofing fabric arrives I'm going to waterproof my fabrics first and then make a bag to take on a trip to Scotland in May!@@TheSewingRoomChannel
Thanks for the easy looking tutorial! I going to TRY to make for a little girl. Love your helpers at the end. 👍 Update: I made the bag and it turned out absolutely adorable! Nina is going to love it.
Thank you. I have been thinking about making a small bag to use when going to sewing events or craft shows. This looks easy with your step by step instructions. Love all of your helpers.
Love the pink iron...I have the Eliso, too! I notice you don't use it with the auto-lift feature! That makes it fun for me...never did like ironing until I got this pretty iron! :)
Hi Sharon. Yes you can use the fusible fleece. I like the heavy iron-on interface because it adds stiffness to the bag. The interfacing is Pellon Craftfuse #808. Thanks for watching, and happy sewing.
@@TheSewingRoomChannel thank you !!! I love your tutorials. I am teaching a couple of friends to sew and your videos are helping them a great deal!! So greatful!!!✂📏✂📏✂

Is this your family at the end of the video? They are so cute!
Yes, thank you. 😍
Would you be able to come up with measurements for a child (age 10) size?
Hi Seasel. It is not a very large bag. I would make the shoulder strap shorter. Stay safe, and happy sewing.
